On Friday, November 13th I will be singing at The Crystal Clarity Gala in North York, Ontario. It is to raise money to relieve poverty in the Toronto community. The funds raised will be used to provide food and supplies to those in need. The gala is being put on by The Clarity Foundation. Ticket prices include beverage, hors d'oeurves and a gift bag. VIP guests will have access to an exclusive space at the gala and a premium gift bag. I will be performing a 90 minute set with Steph Dilts accompanying on acoustic guitar for a number of songs. You may recognize the name Steve Dilts if you've been through my pictures on here and on my website. Steve is my main photographer and the creator of my site. His daughter, Steph Dilts, made this amazing video for him for Father's Day and I just had to share it with all of my MySpace friends! I think this is the greatest Father's Day gift I've ever seen.

An autographed baseball cap worn by Kelly in a photo shoot for Bigdaddio Sports n' More brought in $1000 in a charity auction held on bigdaddio.proboards.com. Kelly wore the hat for some promotional photos and autographed one of those photos and the hat, and they were put up for auction to raise money for an Arkansas family. Kelly would like to give great thanks to the generous fans on bigdaddio.proboards.com, Bigdaddio himself and especially the winning bidder.

We've added a whole new section to my website called Promotional. It currently has 5 new galleries. Those of you who follow me on MySpace know that I do some promotional work for independant bands and artists, as well as being spokesmodel for Original Sin Apparel. I share some of the pictures in my albums here but there are a number that don't make it into my albums for lack of space... or because they're not suitable for MySpace. ;P So I've collected all of the extras and placed them into galleries on my site. KellyAbbass.com is back as 'The Best Of Kelly Abbass'! Kelly's team has been hard at work building a new site that displays her favourite work along with all of the new stuff that Kelly has been doing over the past while. Kelly recently signed with the clothing company Original Sin Apparel as their spokesmodel and has been busy modeling for them as well as shooting with photographers Steve Dilts and Carmen Voda, amongst others. Kelly's friend and model, Amanda Hill, did a photo set with Kelly which was on Kelly's website before the break. Amanda recently shot an individual set with photographer Steve Dilts which will be posted soon on Kelly's site with more of Kelly's friends appearing in the near future. So keep your eyes peeled! As an independant model, I have a fondness for other independants - bands, artists, designers. I've been browsing through my friend's list here on MySpace and I realize that I have quite a few of you on my list. I love and appreciate so many different kinds of music, art and fashion.
