Our second film, our first short 'Chainmail' will premiere on Televison to audiences all over Europe including the UK. It will air this Sunday September the 14th on SKY Channel 195 at 10pm, on Propeller TV under the First Film Strand. There are some top quality films being shown on there so we're happy to be a part of it.

Synopsis and pictures of the film of course can be found on our website. Further viewing of trailers for 'Chainmail' can be found at our Youtube page.

There was a lot of great music put together for the film by the likes of Stu E Skinner and Very Little Effort, Lana, and Darran Smith of Duppy. All these great musician's links can be found at the bottom of this page.

Check out the 'Cast and Crew' for the performers of the film too they did a good a job!

We did it! We won 'The Best Guerilla Film' after being nominated for the award for 'The Day I Tried to Live' at the AOF Film Festival in Pasadena, L.A. This is a huge acheivement for us,  we are delighted to get award and not only that but to receive it in person. The AOF Film Festival was one of the most friendliest festivals i've visited; from the Filmmakers at the events of films and the Awards night to founders and festival Directors Del Weston , Josh Neufeld and Michael Mahon that was showing his film 'Strength and Honor' there.

It was an all round warm Festival to go to and i met some interesting Directors, and people along the way! We will continue to promote 'The Day I Tried to Live' at more Festivals in the U.S.A, U.K, Europe and wherever will accept our film. So if you can come and watch our award winning film while it's circulating!

We want to make interesting, original and innovative work; short and feature length with budget or without we'll ride on…watch this space.

Like art immitating life, what a fantastic journey it was to travel thousands of miles alone, across to West Hollywood, Hollywood Blvd, Pasadena, L.A, and of course the O.C….and it was all well worth the while with some great surprises along the way. I couldn't have gone to half the places without the help of a someone ;-) thank you Camie you're a star!

Ted Stanford at Deadharvey.com has put up 'The Veil' as the first case study on their website. Deadharvey.com is a filmmakers website which really delves deep into the truths behind the process of making low budget films and getting them out there, telling it like it REALLY is. Theres insight of the process that went into the making of The Veil on getting it made special effects and whats next.

This begins the start of the case studies;

'Chainmail' a short film we completed at the beginning of the year is enjoying more success than our predessor the feature 'The Veil'- which i know not many of you have not seen yet i'm sorry! Nothing personal, but now, well soon... you can buy the proper DVD and it'll look better professionally done rather than a couple of copies burnt. It'll have loads of making of stuff too from 2000-2004, 8xDeleted Scenes, pictures and some funny outtakes aswell so you'll get your moneys worth....Anyway i digress... Those of you who don't know in July we got into the 'AOF Film Festival' in California Official Selection, and Manchester's own 'Festival of fantastic films' specialising in horror and Sci-fi for 18 years-we were finalists for the 'Delta film award'. The award is given to a low/no budget film without the use of proper crew/production (that would be us!) But shows great potential in the quality/style of the film.... We didn't win unfortunatly, but to be a finalist is something and over time we feel our films are going to get better and better. For synopsis/Summarys on our films go to our website; www.chance-encounters.org
