For some reason I'd like to explain what the first song on Little World is about. It's not really a conventional love song, even though it is about love, so in a way, it is. Love is what really counts out there and in here. But it is more a requiem.

During the collaboration with Planet Boelex a man near by got seriously injured in a fire. He was in a coma for a long time, so miraculously long that we all started to hope for his recovery. But he didn't make it. So the song really is about his pain, our hope, our sorrow and hopefully some angels that took care of him and his loved ones. And all the emotions involved in this tragic event. And I was giving a voice to different people/angels around him.

I've been a bit unproductive lately. Somehow doing nothing does not come easy for someone like me. Now I have taken a vacation from all must do's except the obvious ones. I guess I have to eat and all that, but you know, all the other things I think I must be doing. On the way I lost my analytical brain and I have sort of having a hard time to find my way back to the normal routines. Sorry family and friends! I will be back!

But the inspiration is commig back again! I bought a preamp for my vocals and can't understand why I didn't do that sooner. Recording is a lot more fun now. My home made studio is not that optimized and I want to fix some of that first so it's easy and creative to work/play in.

I don't know what direction my life will be taking now. I don't have any specific goals. I just believe it's all for the best. For all of us.

It's amazing how small the world can be. My world is very small. Planet Boelex knows that. But my dreams won't let go. Sometime when I was a little girl I developed an analytical brain. It didn't get me anywhere, but it keeps me down to earth when I must. But I'd rather dream. I managed to complete 6 songs with Planet Boelex. Well, maybe he did the completing part. I guess I was dreaming. But it was a lovely dream!

I hope these songs will mean something good for you. They do to me.

This last song I uploaded has a fun story. My friend, Imchibeat, sent me a mixture of his beats and some sampled music and voices that we played around with. It was very political and rough and my song sort of soothed that part a little. Anyway, we couldn't use it as most of it was sampled. I sent it to Chris to listen to and he offered to do something if I just sent him my voice.

It turned out to be something very different and sweet and the lyrics now mean something else compared to the first version.

One day Imchibeat and I might return to our first intention, but that will be another story.
