runnin MP3 We are excited to release our new song: "Runnin'", available now. It should be up for a free download here on MySpace. When we decided to work on a new "Rebel Song", J and I didn't want to do a Fever's Back version 2.0, or anything similar. We wanted to create an aggressive beat that matches the Rebs swagger and attitude. We then wanted lyrics that were basketball related, but less "sappy", hence lines like: "watch me drop dimes, we be slappin glass like all the time" We are proud of our new Tune and hope you'll catch the Fever and support the Rebs this year. So we are back and had a GREAT TIME!!!!! We didn't get much sleep, but we did have much fun! We want to thank all the peeps from digitallife and especially GGL.com for making it all happen. Shane and Chachi were superstars. It was also nice to meet MC Frontalot and crew. They were unbelievable. We were proud to be part of something on such an epic scale. A big THANKS to all those who made it happen, and a huge shout out to epileptic gaming!

Well our passion for runnin rebs basketball got us once again. We really hadn't planned on updating the song for this year. As many of you know, we felt a little bit underappreciated last year by those in power at UNLV. We just love the Rebs so much that we couldn't stand NOT updating the song. This time we did the second verse our way, changing out some of the old players, and making it a bit more cocky! We support our Rebs 100%, no matter what happened on the business side of things last year. That is all!

So Smooth and Grammar are pretty excited for the new album. We hope you all will be too. We are so proud of this effort and think it'll stand the test of time, both lyrically and musically. Things feel good right now. The summer air is going to turn and soon the nicest time of the year to live in Vegas will be upon us. We will be refreshed and renewed, and plan on doing some shows when we get the chance. Also much love and respect to those who support us in this hobby turned into an obsession and passion. So as the Battalion prepare to retreat to the barracks to record, we are happy to release our new song "Be the One". This song was created for the DJ Allen Project and was a blast to create along with the video. Said video will be up on the site in the future, but for now has been locked in the vault, to be unleashed at the show May 19th. Wolfgang worked long and hard to create this Fab Vegas creation.
This song was a bit out of the comfort zone for us to create and record. We would like to thank DJ for pushing us in the "right" direction, pun intended.
