. First of all I've always defended free speech but have found myself curbing my speech around left wing liberal friends and family just to be nice. Well we see where that has gotten us. The left has set thier sites on taking down anyone or anything conservative or constitutionally based. We have to stop profiling and discrimination based on political views...Where are you on the left?? If this were against you there would be an outrage plastered everyone by your allies in the mainstream media. I remember when Bush was first elected a gay male friend of mine claimed that all gays were going to be rounded up. That never happened nor were the police issuing statements that anyone with a rainbow sticker or an anti-abortion sticker, or a PETA sticker, or Global Warming stickers were threats to other citizens. This is preposterous and when they take freedom from one, you are damn certain they will take freedom from all... eventually!! Stop the madness. Remember what our government did to the Branch Davidians or at Ruby Ridge (do you on the left even know what I'm talking about?) The government needs us divided they want us divided so they can succeed. ----------------- Bulletin Message ----------------- From: DEATH BY MODERN MEDICINE, VACCINATION & BAILOUTS To: Date: Mar 26, 2009 8:38 AM Subject: Contact the Missouri Governor tell him to retract the MIAC REPORT ----------------- Bulletin Message ----------------- From: ~iLLusionary~Fight For Peace!~ To: Date: Mar 26, 2009 7:26 AM Subject: Contact Missouri Governor and tell him to retract MAIC report

Constitution Party Issues Missouri Travel Advisory Lancaster, PA (March 25, 2009) The Constitution Party has issued a warning to Americans traveling within the state of Missouri that they might be considered a threat by law enforcement if they display certain bumper stickers on their cars. A recent report issued through the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) titled "The Modern Militia Movement" was released with the approval of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and the Missouri State Police. It labels Americans with a variety of political beliefs as potential "militia members", "domestic terrorists" and "radicals".
The Constitution Party decries this report as political profiling and strongly suggests those considering a trip to the Show Me state be aware of the possibility they could be pulled over by a Missouri State Police officer simply for displaying a politically oriented sticker on their vehicles.
In the MIAC report, those who support 3rd party candidates like Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin and Libertarian Bob Barr as well as Congressman Ron Paul were labeled "dangerous" and a "threat" to law enforcement.
The Constitution Party’s Chuck Baldwin voiced outrage saying: "This is a classic case of broad-brushed police profiling.
Can you imagine the fallout of this preposterous report had the names Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Maxine Waters been used instead of the names Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr?"
According to the MIAC report labeled "law enforcement sensitive" those considered a threat include citizens against:
Gun control Illegal immigration Abortion The United Nations The North American Union The Federal Reserve The IRS Unconstitutional Mandatory Universal Service Programs
Baldwin went on to say: "...At least 75% of the American people would oppose at least one or more of these... According to the MIAC report that is sufficient to make them potential dangerous "militia members.
In response to the MIAC report, the three candidates wrote a letter to Missouri governor Jay Nixon demanding retraction of defamatory and inaccurate characterizations.
The state issued an "apology" to the three men but made no mention of clearing up the myriad other inaccuracies found in the report. The soft "apology" actually blamed those who were profiled saying they "misinterpreted" the report!
In addition to issuing the Travel Advisory, the Constitution Party is encouraging all liberty-minded Americans to contact Missouri governor Jay Nixon to tell him to remove all MIAC report references which cast political opinion in a negative light.
Governor J Nixon may be contacted at: PO Box 749 Jefferson, MO 65102 Tel: 573-751-4905 Fax: 573-751-5399 here's a link to the MIAC report http://www.news-leader.com/assets/pdf/DO131242323.PDF ***Update to this bulletin is that for now the State of Missouri (now and forever called Misery) has rescinded the order.*** But be on the lookout for more of this as the forced volunteer civilian service force of Obama starts spreading out across the vast plains.

so how's he doing since taking office just 2months ago?? yes it's only been 2 months... just imagine the chaos we'll be in after 4 years of this bumbling administration... Venezuela's Chavez knows the deal and called Obama ignorant. There are not many things Chavez and I agree...actually this is the only thing we agree on. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090323/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_venezuela_usIran talks tough and wants sweeping change in US policy. Will they actually dictate what we do in the region? Will Obama bend to their demands or put his foot down for them to bend to ours? Well they don't want his open talks just becuase he says so. They don't want to listen to him or even talk with him unconditionally. The Iranian leader's rebuff on Saturday to President Barack Obama's offer for dialogue was swift and sweeping: Words from Washington ring hollow without deep policy changes. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090322/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_iran_us_what_s_next;_ylt=AhwWuMQd7x9OILLs8wkkCIcLewgFNorth Korea's pissed and captured 2 female US journalists and don't think they will treat them as kindly as we treat terrorists held at Guantanamo http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090322/ap_on_re_as/as_nkorea_journalists_held;_ylt=AhqZNc97C56t3BcYADAsb1IBxg8Fbut keep going on late night tv, keep spending our tax money on $300 per pound kobe beef, keep picking on the mentally challenged and providing an aimless direction for both our economy and diplomatic front. It's ok because you bring hope and change and a new way of doing business in Washington. Keep doing what you are doing because come next year Republicans will gain more control in Congress and your days of sliding failed policies and legislation allowing ill deserved bonuses will be harder to pass. Keep doing what you are doing becuase you will only have 4 years to spend our great great grandchildrens money and only 4 years to party in the whitehouse and only 4 years to be the worst president in history. The genie is out of the bottle...you're nothing but a no good lying, do nothing slacker who's finally got a job where you have to actually work and you can only run from your duties for so long before they catch up to you.

I don't get the paper at home...I know I should, to preserve a dying art of print news and actually reading something rather than hearing it repeated in sound bytes on the tv. So, since I'm in Pittsburgh at the in-laws, I get to read the paper as I often do while visiting. Opening the op-ed section I read a remakable piece by Charles Krauthammer about the recent overturning of Bush's stem cell policy by the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania. Krauthammer, if you don't know is a writer with an eye on morality and a solid judge of such things no matter the subject. He's hard to pin down politically, writing about the war on terrorism, economy or biotethics. His articles are a recommended read if you're interested. The story begins with his invitation to Obama's speech and signing to overturn Bush's 2001 ban on embryonic stem cell research. Krauthammer declined the invite and his article goes on to state his reasons and how he felt vindicated after hearing the president's speech. See Obama doesn't put clear thought into his decisions and this was no exception. He clearly left the door open to cloning even while saying he's against it. well... This blog is not about the speech, or the policy or even about Krauthammer's article, although I recommend you read it. http://townhall.com/columnists/CharlesKrauthammer/2009/03/13/using_embryos__without_limit?comments=true#commentsMy reason for the blog is about comments. Whenever I find an article interesting I want to know what others think and see if there is a differing opinion so I read the comments. They are at times banal or trivial but sometimes they are thoughtful and insightful. Usually it depends on the location...like after reading 3 comments about a particular article posted on NPR's site I couldn't stand the hate and blinded bias of some liberals. You'll find the same a majority of the time on Daily Kos or Huffington Post. But today on Townhall, and yes I agree with majority of the comentators, I found clear thinkers and independent thought. Most praised Krauthammer's insight and writing...some judged based on religious belief and some provided a deeper personal perspective that I'm afraid our amatuer president lacks. I do find in Obama's speaking a solid voice, a strong aurator but a lack of depth, thoughtfullness and insight. A blatant lack of understanding reality and I've seen it in all of his policy decisions and I'm concerned of how that will affect our country in the near term and in the future. I read the comments to get a sense of where we are and to see who's listening and watching and what they think about the choices being made in Washington. Partly, I guess, out of curiosity but mostly I think...it's because I like to know there are still people who feel the way I do about decisions our leaders make. So below is one comment I thought worthy of posting. It's from Sam in FL and was the 13th comment i read. There is a depth to the writing that differs from any critcism I ever heard or read about Bush. He was just called dumb or an idiot partly I guess because of the way he spoke. But give me a leader not afraid to be themselves or putting on airs. Give me someone with compassion and a sense of purpose. I didn't always agree with Bush but I sure do miss having a man of integrity in the White House and from Sam's words...I'm not alone. A former liberal. When I graduated college, I didn't consider myself "conservative" nor was I a registered Republican. When it came to the pro-choice/pro-life argument, as a woman I staunchly stuck to being pro-choice. However, my opinion and the opinion of other pro-choicers often times is only formed from the perspective of a woman and that is it. The idea of "my body, my choice" is what prevails with the pro-choice lobby.
I began to discover how many of my friends had abortions. Some have been affected dramatically and made life changes while others, well they are repeat offenders having multiple abortions and think nothing more of it than a medical procedure.
It was this latter attitude that caused me to reflect and reform my own opinion and do a bit of research. How selfish the pro-choice, pro-abortion and now pro-embryonic stem-cell lobby is. I remember President Bush's speech. The problem with what Obama has done is that he shows little regard for the most precious commodity we have on earth - the creation of life. I'm not a deeply religious person, but I do believe that respect should be given where it is due.
The President is as arrogant as he is ignorant, which is a common trait in most left-wing liberals I know.
This is yet another of many mistakes our rookie President has made. There was no careful thought put into this decision, as there is no careful thought put into any of his decisions abuot the long term consequences to our nation.
My question now becomes, where will the President draw a line of morality? Does he even have one? I think not. As a nation we should be ashamed of our leader.
With freedom, there must also come responsibility or there will be chaos. Our President has shown in these first days of his presidency that he is irresponsible.

Yesterday I posted a bulletin with an article written by Kevin McCullogh in Townhall about the last 48 hours of our current resident in chief. it's a good read with links to many other articles. Obama bungles meeting with British PM...have you heard anything about it on the news??? if it were Bush you would have. How about <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />....Russia...., ....Iran...., ....Israel...., how about the stocks tanking and who's really to blame...how about the tax cheats being chosen for high level positions? the earmarks? how about DC children losing funding for school vouchers??...everyone in the press is oddly silent while this guy flubs around like a Freshman with a "kick me" sign stuck to his back.
those of us who didn't vote for him knew he was not qualified...I hope those of you who voted for him finally pay attention. http://kevinmccullough.townhall.com/blog/g/01983894-5dd4-4cbc-b191-c3dcffe46f46

the media and our fearless leader in DC are trying to paint a doom and gloom picture of unemployment and the economy and yes it's bad make no mistake about that. Current unemployment is at 7.6% and predicted to reach 8.5% or more...as companies continue to cut and run and people are losing homes but the government spending (more like stealing) spree is doing nothing to curb the purge. Here is some information I found about unemployment during the Reagan years which began to rise as he took office and peaked at 9.5% by 1983. Did Reagan preach and speak about doom and gloom?? HELL NO!! He cut taxes and spoke about the strength of America and gave us a sense of passion and can do spirit. He led, as all great men should, by motivating and encouraging his fellow citizens. He also didn't say Government is the answer. And just a year later, in 1984, the rate had drop to 7.4% and continued to slide throughout the remainder of his presidency.

Rembember...most of the stimulus package is funnelling money to Govt organizations and pet projects and the jobs they may create will be menial jobs at best. They will not be long term top paying jobs in corporations and will not be career jobs to say the least.
Growing government is not the solution. We need to cut taxes, especially our high corporate tax rate, and give incentives for hiring workers in leading fields like IT, pharma, healthcare, manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Technology, etc.
Since October when the first TARP bill was passed stocks keep going down dragging along our 401-K’s and companies have continued to layoff. There is no sign of this ending and the current bill will do nothing to stabilize the situation.
And instead of being in Washington overseeing the Govt our fearless leader is flying around in Air Force One at taxpayer expense and it’s not cheap. The same man who was not happy that CEO’s were flying private corporate owned jets into DC doesn’t seem to think the same rules apply to him.
Don’t let the media and the goons in Washington tell you otherwise as they push Socialism down our throats. Call your Representatives and Senators…call the White House and write. Write blogs, write to newspapers and talk about it…get the word out and maybe your fellow Americans will wake up and see what’s happening. There is a coup going on a non-violent coup in Washington. The Democrats have been salivating for years waiting for the right time and now that they have destroyed the banking and financial systems by propping up Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac they are going for the jugular.

So I am still struggling with all that has happened with this past election. I have always felt that America is a great country. I mean my dad came here when he was 15. A young Cuban looking for a home, which he found here and became American. We still had our roots. Cuban Son and Salsa music, pork, rice and beans and the language but we were American and I am and will always be. So when I hear that American can be great again...I think what was wrong with it before? All the ingenuity, the great companies, individuals and inventions that were started here...such a young country in respect to ..Europe.. and the great empires in the middle east and of course on the Asian continent. So, am I wrong or are we being sold a bill of goods? It’s all so confusing. I see people so engrossed in what is happening and so charged with energy that I think it's a good thing but what are they following? Do they know the dangers of idolatry and has the education system failed our youth that they don't know the greatness that has come from this country in the past that they believe we can only be great now that a black man is in office?....
.. ..
I hear that ..MLK..'s legacy has been fulfilled but I don't know if that is true....have we looked past color and really selected a man with content? I don't really know and actually I don't think we have but hope that he is and can stand up to our enemies and honor the constitution. I watched the inauguration and wasn't thrilled with the speech or inspired and then the benediction with the statement ..."will white do what's right?" I thought we did. We elected a black man and most white's feel guilty for things in the past which we weren’t even involved. I can honestly say that I was never prejudiced in my life. I have worked with all kinds of American's and have led them on the training fields in the military and have been led by them, played football with them, drank beer with them, ate at their homes. I don't feel hatred for people that disagree with me like the liberals do. I mean when Obama leaves office either by getting voted out in 4 years or by term limits in 8 I will not be there singing hey nana nana goodbye...like a bunch of immature college kids at a basketball game when the opponent loses. I sure wanted my team to win but we didn't. But this is the American presidency not some ball game. This is real life and it means more. Why should the country come together now? where were those sentiments from Obama and the left the last 8 years that Bush has been in office where was the leading by example... where was the putting differences aside? Bush had to handle shoes getting thrown at him, name calling and a brutal press, and a democratic congress that hated him...I mean it started before he was inaugurated and his inauguration was called too expensive at a time of war....did you hear any of that yesterday for an event that will probably dwarf the 2005 Inauguration by 4 times. The perspective has changed and no one seems to care and that worries me. ....
.. ..
So I come to you today with a heavy heart because I want this country to rise above the economic woes and I want our military personnel to be home with their family instead of taking care of problems abroad. I want ....America.... to shine but I want conservative libertarian ideals instilled in all of us not some entitlement mentality...and I don't want the government to be the answer. One man can make a difference and that one man is me...or you... not the President of the ....US..... He can certainly inspire us and I agree with the energy that has been created and think it's a good thing but I think there is something still missing... that ....America.... is a great country and has always been great. We are not a dictatorship, we are not an empire nor do we want to take over countries...we want freedom and democracy to spread. In my book that is not evil. So...now to my poem....which I wrote this morning and sometimes I just write and let it be...then go back and edit if needed but this I think is good the way it is and inspired me to write this blog. So here it is...let me know what you think about it....let me know what you think about my blog. Let me know what you think about ....America.... and about our new president. ....
.. ..
Take a page from a book....
Play the part....
You have the look....
.. ..
You say the words ....
We all want to hear....
.. ..
You make us feel ....
You give us a thrill....
.. ..
In the end we’ll see....
We’ll see if it was real....
Or just ....
Cult of personality....
.. ..
Any way you cut it....
If there is no substance....
No foundation....
The house will all fall down....
So let’s hope that we can ride ....
Out this storm....
Let’s hope for hope’s sake that we ....
Can overcome the division....
Of ideals....
And the sense of entitlement....
So many feel....
.. ..
You have the look....
You say the right words....
But at the end of the day....
Do you agree with all you say?....
And why should we ....
Why should we?....

And we're supposed to care about Obama's feelings when al-Zwahiri said the following...he warned Obama that he was "facing a Jihadi (holy war) awakening and renaissance which is shaking the pillars of the entire Islamic world; and this is the fact which you and your government and country refuse to recognize and pretend not to see." so what do the AP reporters do...yep they choose to focus on how this guy called Obama a bad name. Bad jihadist....bad jihadist!
So the media is still in the can for the president-elect and they title the article "Al-Qaida's no. 2 insults Obama with racial epithet" awww he hurt Obama's feelings and we must not allow such a thing…poor baby. It's ok Obama the mean muslim man won't hurt you anymore…gag me! So I clicked on it anyhow out of curiosity and found a whole lot of substance that should have been the title...like Al Qaida still wants to kill Americans!
In al-Qaida's first response to Obama's victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect — along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice — "house negroes."..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Speaking in Arabic, al-Zawahri uses the term "abeed al-beit," which literally translates as "house slaves." But al-Qaida supplied English subtitles of his speech that included the translation as "house negroes."
yep...he used the same comments that were used in 2003 about Colin Powell and Condaleeza Rice. or as the left say Conda-sleeza. They are so kind...kind of like...terrorists.
http://www.keithboykin.com/arch/2003/02/05/colin_powell_wh
…didn't hear anyone on the left screaming racial injustice back then.
But the most important issue and why I chose to blog about it is that there were more damaging statements made by this man against our country and fellow americans. So since the press won't focus on it here goes. Who cares that al-Zawahri called the "messiah" a house slave and insulted our new dictator. He wants to murder AMERICANS! He wants Islamic world domination "..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />America has put on a new face, but its heart full of hate, mind drowning in greed, and spirit which spreads evil, murder, repression and despotism continue to be the same as always," the deputy of al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden said.
He said Obama's plan to shift troops to Afghanistan is doomed to failure, because Afghans will resist.
"Be aware that the dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands to them," he said.
He said Obama's victory showed Americans acknowledged that President George W. Bush's policies were a failure and that the result was an "admission of defeat in Iraq."
But Obama's professions of support for Israel during the election campaign "confirmed to the Ummah (Islamic world) that you have chosen a stance of hostility to Islam and Muslims," al-Zawahri said.

With $605 million raised already, Obama still asking for more donations...
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/10/obama-money.html

he's raised so much money that he CAN NOT realistically spend it all...but his campain is tirelessly asking for more and more just days before the election. It seems to be a theme that will be brought to the Whitehouse should he win. give me more and more and more! so what is he going to do with it should he win or lose? and what has he really spent it on....inquiring minds would like some answers. If he were a Republican you know the outcry would be fierce with all the money raised. but instead he get's a pass because he's democrat and needs to raise so much to beat the evil Republicans. It's disgusting!
The McCain's are unabashedly wealthy but what about all the charity work that Cindy has done and the countless millions of her own money spent to help the innocent victims of landmines and children born with deformities. Where is the press praising these efforts? No instead they get behind the Obama camp and trash the rich. This class warfare is going to be the demise of this country. You can't hate the rich....I mean really do we hate the rich or are we jealous? How many shows about houses, vacations, yachts and what about MTV cribs??? we all want what they have but stealing it is not the answer and taxing it more is not the answer.
I want to know because maybe I'm wrong and misguided but aren't the rich the ones who employ people at their businesses, hire people to maintain properties, landscape, pool service, spa, massage, haircare....hire chefs, catering, and others for entertainment , parties, lavish weddings, birthdays... the list goes on and on...but you see who this will affect. Not the rich but the poor and middle class who depend on the rich for work and for money.
Obama's plan will hurt the very people he claims to care about and support. It will drive more people to depend on government. That my friends can be the only true goal of Obama and the liberal Dems. The government is not what makes the USA great...The people of this great nation are what make this country great! There is no caveat there....it's not just the Republicans or Democrats, Liberals or Conservatives, those who serve in the military or the peace corps, college grads or those without degrees, poor or rich, black, white, latino, asian or whatever, Christians, Muslims, Jewish, Buddist, Atheist...gay, straight or assexual...It's ALL people who make this country great. We need someone who understands that and who actually cares about ALL citizens not just the ones that vote for him or think like him. Mccain will not penalize you for voting against him or for asking tough questions he will not ban you for having a different political stance or for endorsing the other candidate. He will not shut down your opinions with the "fairn | | | |
