To All My Friends Who Are Teachers, Who Respect Teachers, or Whose Relatives Are Teachers:

I was reading the Dallas Morning News and came across an article which was talking about the hiring process of teachers in Dallas. Apparently several ISD(Independent School Districts...Texans call each public school district ISD, because each one is its own special district, which is different from MA.) are using tests to weed applicants for teaching positions. The test was designed by Gallup and apparently measures, "values and behaviors- not subject knowledge". I feel like the application process for jobs has become so impersonal. Can tests really judge who will be the best candidate?
