Just wanted all of you to know about Josie some call her Joval, Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers at this time, She went to the hospital due to having severe headaches and they ran tests only to find out the bad news that she has a mass 2.6cc in the center part of her brain, She has to be on meds right now as well as resting until her next visit to the doctor thursday/friday. This news has made me very upset and very nervous I know that she does not have insurance and without working the funds are very low. I will be having a card at the bars for all of you to sign as well as a donation jar to help her and her family in this time of need, I know that money is tight for all of us but anything will help at this time. I feel It was a blessing when Josie came into my bars to work she has been so kind thoughtful,funny and one of the hardest workers I have ever met It just breaks my heart to see her in such pain, But no matter what I will be there for her and hold her hand through these times. Please don't call her right now let her rest but you can always send her an e-mail I will keep all of you posted on her illness,And will also let you know when I will have a show/poker run for her the less stress and worry she has the better for her right now. Thanks so much for all your kind words and thoughts all I want at this time is for her to get better and to see her walk through the door with her happy smile.... Have to go right now crying my eyes out so sad to write this story.

Well as everyone probably knows the Dungeon and the Metal scene is being attacked by a racial man who hates all music. Here is the news I have owned the Junkyard for 6 years and the Dungeon for almost 2 years and yes we are all up to code and have had all commercial license ect. Until 5 weeks ago a man moved into a commercial property across the street from the Dungeon he has made several remarks about the people the bands myself and bikers. He has made over 100 calls to the police department complaining that he can not sleep in his home so the police started coming to the Dungeon some officers were really cool said that the music was fine and told him that as well, Until the main police officer stated he has to make arrests to the owner because he thinks it's to loud he even had EPA out to the bar taking measurments of the sound I think it's pretty weird because there is no sound law for commercial property for a bar in orange county he only thing that I found was 60 decibals for residential our reading was at the highest 57.2 it varied at 51 to 57.2. A club owner has the right to be open for business until 2am and we are allowed to have live bands jute box ect. So this officer after he took all those readings came by the bar said to one of my employees where is Nika and of course I went out there and boom in handcuffs I went the bands that witnessed all of this where very upset to say the least. I stood up for my rights as well as the rights for the music and any artistic expression. We have the right to speak we have the right to look the way we want and to express ourself in music any style that it. A battle well of course with this man who feels that he needs to have his peace and his sleep but I'm very well aware that it is not all about that it is about him having the power to purchase all property in the area he is a slum Lord owning over 21 properties.
    I have walked in between both of my bars and had to listen to slang remarks him calling me a white piece of trash or him telling the police that we are all devil worship people because the music is from the devil. What happened to me Friday night at jail was this, walked in to the booking it took several hours because they where busy they also told me that they could not find anything on me fingerprints where clean so they then told me to sit in section 3 did that for another hour could not use the phone could not do anything then an officer took my jail id still not saying a word, then a lady starts yelling out anybody who does not have there id get over here I said oh hell this lady is a big one where the hell are we going now. Well what an expierence up the elevator to section B locked up in a room with 25 women trash all over the floor women eating out of day old trash cans filled with rotton food I was about to puke let me tell ya. So i'm calling Pablo now begging him to get me the hell out of here he said he is trying but they had a hold on my name until 7am. At this time I'm dying of thirst they gave me no water no food nothing but a hard chair to sit on because the dirty beds where all taken not to say I wanted to go into the beds. Filth dirt all over the walls all over the toilets my lips all chapped because of lack of water but I guess I'm tough because I made it out 11:45 I ran out the damn doors I saw nobody there so I just started running until I saw Pablo and Eric driving to come and get me. My point of this whole story is to let all of you know just how this State really runs It's not what you know it's who you know I have paid my taxes I have paid my dues to society and being a woman Business Owner I have climbed my way up without hurting anyone. I'm compassionate to others I enjoy seeing all the people gather and play there choice of music regardless of there age there race or there sexuality. I hate when I have to be faced with such horrible people and very slim laws, I feel that the police needs to pay more attention to the crime on the streets or taking better care of our children that are being stolen or killed. I did not think I had to be so involved in political views or the right and wrong of a sick man who gets his kicks out of seeing a woman down and in handcuffs. I truly respect all of the bands all of the people who have supported the Dungeon and who are supporting me right now. Yes our voices need to be out there in the media I will be holding a Rally very peaceful that is 1st at the bar and then at the courthouse in Downtown Orlando this Wednesday will start at the bar at 2:00 then stay there for about 1 hour then move to the courthouse unless the media comes to us first then we shall stay. Until then the only half way good news that I do have is that there might be a chance that the case will be dropped I will let everyone know the details of the meeting tomorrow so stay tuned.    we will be having inside and outside stages with sound also searching for vendors... it will be hosted on local radio stations.
band members will recieve free food and open keg and h20. will also be having interviews by several magazines for all the bands. I will be picking 15 bands and it will be held on a saturday have not set the date yet june or july.
