Hello everyone, Tom here to say a few special things about our final show on August 29 at School of Rock. First off we're really excited to be able to go out sharing the stage with all of our great friends Paulson, Red Light Green Light, The Tonight Life and Hoover Flags. We have quite a (New Jersey) history with all of these guys and couldn't be happier to finish it with them. Secondly, tickets ARE selling so you probably shouldn't wait to buy them at the door.

Finally, the final show will be played by myself (Tom), Josh, Okie, Jarrett, and Jose. Yes, you heard that right. I want to go out with all the people I built this band with. Our band was always built with an undeniable friendship foundation and nothing can beat that. Therefore you will see the same five of us that you most likely saw (and you'll see some special appearances from other key players as well:) for a lot of this band's time. I know that a lot of you will be curious about this so let me squash any rumors. Forgiveness is one of the most important qualities a friend can have and I've learned a lot about it and friendship in the past year. This last show is a very special thing to me and the rest of the guys and to go out like this will be the perfect closure to the best time of my life. A lot has changed, but one thing will always remain the same - we played music to have fun and not take life so seriously (and to never get real jobs). We toured the world and never took a second of it for granted and honestly we all shared the same vision and philosophy. I wouldn't take back any of it for the world. So please if this band ever meant anything to you, come out and share the special night with us and share stories because I can assure you the festivities will make the night one to remember.

The big news you've being waitng on...

For all shows in 2009 and beyond, we are changing our School of Rock (and Mexicali Live) advance ticket sales to TICKETWEB

TicketWeb is cheaper than ticketmaster. Its now the same price for you to print your ticket yourself (at home) or get it mailed to you. The only downside is no more outlet sales. So for the 3% of you that bought tickets at an outlet in 2008, I apologize.

If you already have a ticket from ticketmaster for any upcoming show, YES, it is still being honored and valid.

The United Nations calls it "the world's greatest humanitarian crisis."
The US calls it genocide.

The people of Darfur have suffered for 4 years in a crisis that has left over
400,000 dead and 2.5 million displaced from their homes.

 

There is something you can do to help them:
GO TO A CONCERT on November 10.

 


MySpace has brought its bands together to help send aid to the people of Darfur.

Join us at our show in New York City at Grand Ballroom and a portion of your ticket purchase will go directly to the ROCK FOR DARFUR cause.

 

More than 30 other bands have united with Rock for Darfur shows that span the globe—all on November 10. So if our show isn't in your neighborhood, then go to myspace.com/rockfordarfur to find one that is.

 

Help us send a strong message to the world that this crisis must end now.

The APRIL 16 Punchline show @ School of Rock has been POSTPONED to April 26th.  Tickets from the original show will be honored.

Tomorrow's show @ School of Rock with the Format is expected to go on as planned.

Excess dB Entertainment would like to extend an invitation to any members bands they have previously booked on a show to come checkout North Jersey's newest and best all ages venue - The School of Rock - at its Grand Opening on April 1st for FREE! Just email heath@excessdb.com and make to specify what band you are in and your name and you will be put on the guestlist. (please note this is on a first come first serve basis, and your band must still be together/active)
