The Iguanas were included in several year-end "best of 2008" lists. Keith Spera of the New Orleans Times-Picayune picked the Iguanas for a list of 10 best local CDs: http://blog.nola.com/keithspera/2008/12/keith_spera_names_the_10_best.htmlOffbeat Magazine ranked If You Should Fall On Hard Times number 6 of the top 20 albums of 2008: http://offbeat.com/artman/publish/article_3459.shtmlAnd Offbeat's Dan Willging picked the new CD for an article in December's issue in which contributing writers pick their "Hot Five" CDs of 2008 (article not available online). Worthy of note: Alison Fensterstock of New Orleans Gambit Weekly picked an Iguanas tune for "best odd rhyme" of 2008: "Coquette with Chalmette," but incorrectly identified the song as "Dancing For Dollars." The song is actually "Her Red Fishnets."
