1. Someone is looking to sell their full-event Cornerstone Festival ticket. If interested, please contact him at: renninj@lakeforest.edu . 2. Glen Clark (of Glen Clark and the Family / Jesus Village) is going through some rough times financially and with housing issues. (No, he hasn't asked me to post this.) Please take the time to pray for him and his family. He is here on MySpace under "Jesus Village" and his website is at www.glenclark.net . 3. I'd really like to get the C-Stone Survival discussion board going again. Please visit it at: http://p205.ezboard.com/bcstonesurvival

For most of us, our sojourn to Cornerstone requires a fair amount of advance planning. Since it is now only 35 days until the fest begins, lets get a few things out of the way before we make our journey to the fest grounds:
1. Order your tickets! You can get 5% off when you use my street team code. To order your tickets, please visit: http://www.cstonesurvival.com/id103.html
2. Order your bus, train, or airplane tickets. Fares will only go up, so it is best to lock in the lower prices now.
3. If you are planning to borrow camping equipment, send out the good word to family and friends now so that you don't run into conflicts with their camping trips.
4. Start scoping the dollar and discount stores for good deals on bottled water, raman noodles, plates, cups, and other camping accessories.

Many Cornerstone Festival attendees take the Amtrak train into Macomb and then arrange for a ride to the fest grounds. If you are having difficulty arranging a ride, you can use Barry's Taxi. The cost to get to the grounds is $45 one way, plus $1 per extra rider in the cab. In other words, if you had four people in the cab, the cost would be $48 plus gratuity. A cab will also pick you up at the fairgrounds and bring you back to the train station for the same price. Barry's Taxi is located in the Macomb train station, and their phone number is: (309) 833-1700. I'd suggest entering the number into your cell phone so that you have it with you at the fest.

Things to do NOW: 1. Book your airline or train ticket. The train ticket can be especially cheap right now. 2. If you haven't already, get the time off work. Lots of people vacation in the summer, and you don't want to miss out because your boss needs you to cover for someone else. 3. Drag out your camping equipment and make sure you have all the "parts" and that everything is in working order. Check out your tent to make sure it doesn't have any rips or tears. If you need to buy new gear, it is easier on the budget to spread out the purchases over 6 weeks than it is to have to rush and buy stuff at the last minute.
