Our homeboy, and skateboarder/cameraman Nate Dean is hard at work on his follow up to the immense festival of skateboarding footage that is THUS FAR. Nate has been hard at work shooting for the new video, and has footage of some of New England's illest skaters, including Zoo York rider Donny Barley, as well as Pete Chav, Dillon Bluss, Derek Rooney and more (these dudes won't be am's for long). Check out the trailer, and get stoked for the release of ANY ANGLE. We'll be working together on another raging release party in the Fall, so keep an eye out for the details.

Anyone who wants to see more Northeast-centric shredding should pick up a copy of THUS FAR on DVD in our webstore at trashartrecords.com, alongside the Trash Art catalog and tons of other hardcore, punk and metal titles.

After nearly two years, we have managed to get our hands on a small stack of the European vinyl LP pressing of BACKSTABBERS INC's Kamikaze Missions. These LPs will be available in our webstore until they have sold out and we are not anticipating the arrival of a restock for a few months. Get your hands on these while they're still hot.

After roughly 5 years with the same web site, we’re considering giving the TA site a major overhaul, starting with our clunky old webstore. Anyone with the skills and ideas, and who might be up for the task, drop us a line and we can talk details. If you have never seen our website, visit us at www.trashartrecords.com to get a feel for what seems to have worked thus far.

TRAP THEM accepted delivery of the brand new deluxe 180g Sleepwell Deconstructor LP earlier today, and will have them for sale at their remaining European tour dates.

To anyone not able to catch the band on their European vacation, the LP has been slightly delayed due to manufacturing issues, and will be available in the US (and elsewhere) in 3-5 weeks (late April, 2008). For those of you who would like this fine piece of noise and art in your hands before that point, we will continue taking preorders until the records are ready to ship. This version of the record will come with a limited version in White & Gold 180g vinyl, or Black 180g vinyl available to stores and distributors. The White/Gold version will be exclusive to direct mailorder through Trash Art.

The record will be wrapped in a beautifully designed gatefold sleeve with all new artwork by Justin Bartlett. Preorders are available now at trashartrecords.com. All LP orders will ship with a copy of the promo poster for this release, but otherwise we’ve decided not to muck up the ordering process with extraneous overpriced stuff. Also, don’t miss your chance to see these dudes on tour with Rotten Sound, The Ocean, Victims, Extreme Noise Terror, Phobia, Disfear, Killing The Dream, Ruiner and more tba.

Do any of you fine German people know SVEN from YELLOW DOG RECORDS? His record label pressed an LP for BACKSTABBERS INC nearly 2 years ago, but never sent the 100 copies promised to us. Sven claimed to have sent records via courier which never arrived, and he never provided any tracking information or proof that the records were ever shipped. As best I recall, the band also did not receive the full amount of records promised to them. By any reasonable standard, this would make the Yellow Dog pressing of this LP a bootleg.

Sven has also stopped responding to our emails, asking when we can expect o see the records, and does not respond to our offer to buy additional records. If anyone knows this man, or is in any position to help remedy this situation, please get in contact. Sadly, it seems like the only possible way to remedy this problem is to publicly air out this dirty laundry.

Thanks for any help,
Mitch McArtor/Trash Art!

DISAPPEARER have released a free 4-song digital EP, recorded in February 2008 with Steve Brodsky (Cave-In). The release features songs that were previously demoed as instrumental tracks in March 2007, and sees the band's transition from an exclusively instrumental band to a more evolved beast, and willing to take chances not previously possible. Expect this release to be followed up by a "proper" full-length, which will further cement the group's status as an inferno of heavy and experimental post-hardcore.

You have no reason not to listen to this, and you have no reason not to love this. For anyone who needs to have a physical copy of the music available to them on CD (or other formats), the band will be releasing a limited version of the EP to be sold as a tour-only item. So.. that's two reasons to see them on their upcoming tour w/ PLOWS.
