From the album's last.fm page:

Metamorphosis, (released October 2009) is a 24 and a half minute improv recorded live using cassette tapes, reel-to-reel tape recorder, home-made thumb piano, square wave synth, FM tuner, loopstation, digital delay and various objects. In the spirit of borrowing, sampling and recycling ever present in Fisher’s work the title is lifted from the short story by Franz kafka about a man who is turned into a cockroach after a bad dream. Sounds from an Amstrad computer game tape called “Phobia” a tape of “Weird and Wonderful Sounds of Nature” and a record of Trains are also present.Patterns, cycles and repetitions are created using analogue tape loops with the speaker of the tape recorder amplified by a contact mic and looping back to its self. The sounds of the motor can be heard humming and whirring at the base of the track. The CD version is one track totaling 24.29.
