Two of our songs (Travel and Josie's Porch Swing) are appearing on a new compilation cd put out by versailles records.  It is available in Sears, Walmart, Target, Barnes and Noble, and pretty much any place that music is sold.  The cd is a tribute to Stone Temple Pilots, and it got released in stores August 11th.  We are appearing on both discs 1 & 2.

We are excited to be on it, as this is our first time that we have had national retail distribution of our songs.

Wicked Garden: A millenium tribute to Stone Temple Pilots

Note that many websites have spelled our name wrong.  Star FK Stadium is a misspelling of Star FK Radium.

And as always, you can purchase our latest ep, "Josie's Porch Swing" at:

Happy to report we had a fantastic time back in the studio last weekend. To follow up our first EP "Blue Siberia" last September, five brand new tracks will be on our next EP "Josie's Porch Swing," mastered and available on cdbaby by the end of February 2009.

Keep an eye here on our myspace page, we'll be sure to put the new songs up as they come in.

So, (nearly) in the words of BTO ... "here's something that you're never going to forget .... baby you just ain't heard nothin' yet!!"

You can listen to the recording of our radio interview here.  It's about an hour long, and you may have to sift through some commercials.

i could be talking about the whirlwind six months it's been since i joined the band ... but i'm only referring to last weekend!

so ... LAST weekend ... we toured to saginaw michigan to hit three major musical events in one shot.

first, we were thrilled to play white's bar, opening for the banana convention and buckra, both bands were fantastic, great crowd, great gig.

next, we were interviewed by the lovely rachel clarke of kpft, 90.1fm from houston, tx. music and interview will be aired tomorrow, 12/24/08 at 12 noon, and you can hear it also on kpft.org. with all this instrumental music, if you're dying to hear us actually talk about some stuff, check it out tomorrow!

and lastly, we were able to record a pilot session in studio for the new confucius records podcast. we're happy to keep you posted when we find out how to listen to it!

bill and i then hopped in the car and made it home safely to dc (despite weather's efforts to spoil our journey) where matt will join us for a night-after-christmas gig at rock and roll hotel with the petticoat tearoom friday!

happy holidays to all =)

june 2008 has been a good month and we're not even half way through it.  matt and i recorded "travel" for the upcoming versailles records release of the stone temple pilots tribute cd.  we recorded at cue studios in falls church, virginia.  the next night we played the radio show at radio cpr, 97.5 fm in washington dc.  impossibly cool even though the room was a bit small.  i wasn't sure we'd get matt's drums to fit.  dj kero was and is awesome!  alissa and paul oberle were there to witness and photograph.  then on saturday we took a rode trip to mechanicsburg, pa to play with the blanks and cross kentucky.  we had a great time hanging out together all day in pa, hitting bcr music and sound, shooting pool, and then playing the show at cuppy's coffee.  finally star f k radium played the feature spot at andy's live humans open mic at palace of wonders on h street.  i felt good about how it went.  mike wolf with whiz bang three sat in for this gig.
