Held December 13 at AmericanAirlines Arena. ▪ Program Includes Zumba Class, Grizzlies vs. HEAT Ticket, and Donation to Go Red For Women
 
MIAMI, 12/08 –  The HEAT has announced that it has partnered with NBA FIT and Zumba Fitness® creator Beto for a Zumbathon® (Zumba class for charity) to help raise funds for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women®.  Zumba Fitness Night will take place Sunday, December 13 at the AmericanAirlines Arena beginning at 4:15p.m.
 
Tickets are $50 each and include an admission to the Zumbathon with Beto on the Arena’s South Plaza (located at Gate 6), a Grizzlies vs. HEAT game ticket, and a donation to Go Red For Women. Members of the four-time “Most Popular Dance Team in the NBA”, the Miami HEAT Dancers, as well as HEAT mascot Burnie, will be in attendance. The HEAT have announced that the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) recognized the HEAT and its broadcast partner, Sun Sports/FOX Sports Florida, for programming and production excellence by awarding the networks’ and team’s broadcasting divisions four 2009 regional Emmy Awards.

The event will mark the formal unveiling of this year’s Dancer poster and the ladies are pulling out all the stops. They’ll be hitting the catwalk, and projected onto the 3-story high MiamiMediaMesh, giving you 3400 sq. ft. of attractive, spectacularly fit women rocking bikinis and evening wear. This event is open to the public so bring your friends and start your weekend off with a healthy dose of the Miami HEAT Dancers.
