Keep it metal, stay Devanic

Nikolaus Vuckovic has left Devanic or the band continues without him depending on your point of view. However, this is the consequence of painful personal chemistry and other assorted annoying  things leading into a thorn in our side, dissatisfaction getting worse month by month. Any hesitation would have led to a complete breakup so this step had to be taken. As bad news never go hand in hand with positive notes here is another sad chord:

The bitter fact is, the new album, recently in postproduction status, has to be scheduled to an unforeseen date, due to copyright reasons. Niki was a founder, main composer and producer of Devanic and also in charge of the last output.

Nikolaus departure is a major blow to our basic appearance, meaning there will be a drastic change regarding both the feeling and the music, hopefully shifting to a higher level as everything evolves naturally and so do we.

We wish Niki all the best, a bright musical journey and are thankful for all the experiences of the last 4 years. We had our ups and downs, loads of concerts, we released a demo that was produced only a few weeks after Devanic came alive ....and an album with nearly one hour playtime followed in the year 2006.

Now it's time to look forward, willing to participate and infiltrate the international scene once again.

Welcome our new band member

So here we are, boys and girls, after two months of enervating auditions (hahaha) we are proud to announce that Poti has arrived as our new bass player. He was coronated by LISSY of the spotted mushrooms: 

„I'm glad that Devanic had the idea of putting Peter in charge of the vacant guitar assignment. After some rehearsal units all, including me, came to the conclusion that this feels damn right. There's absolutely no need to seek a capable gunslinger under this stone called Vienna when you got an unemployed bass player in range. Peter in I played in this outfit called REVENANTS DAWN together the first time and guess what? It's the same awesome sound like back then.
