PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Fiscalini Cheese for its innovative, educational television series, Great Taste. The company will be featured in a segment on "Holiday Cheeses and the Foods that Bring People Together."
California is now producing high-quality gourmet cheeses to accompany the state's exceptional wines. Award-winning Fiscalini Farmstead Cheeses, with a family history of more than 300 years of making cheese, is based in Modesto, CA, on a 530-acre dairy farm. The company is best known for its English-style clothbound cheddar and its signature San Joaquin Gold cheese (an American original) as well as for delicately flavored cheddars (Caraway, Dill, Garlic, Pepper, Sage, Saffron and Tarragon). Rarely is a bandage-wrapped cheddar produced in America that is capable of challenging the best cheddar in England. Now in its fifth year of production, Fiscalini Farmstead Cheese has won many awards in state, national and world competition.
In the late 1800's, Mateo Fiscalini immigrated to the United States from Switzerland. Eventually settling in California, he became part of the state's growing dairy industry. In 1914 his son John Baptiste Fiscalini established Fiscalini Farms, which now has 1400 Holsteins that provide the outstanding quality milk for the cheese.
Already recognized among his peers for his state-of-the-art dairy practices and the exceptionally high quality of milk, John Fiscalini became interested in continuing the artisan cheese tradition of his ancestors. Attending seminars and classes held by the California Milk Advisory Board and Cal State Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, he began to make his dream a reality. After visiting cheesemakers in Switzerland and Italy, John built the current cheese facility on the family-owned dairy, and began making his own hand-crafted cheese.
The cheese-making operation is housed in a dedicated facility at the dairy, where traditional cheese-making practices are utilized at every stage. Much like a cellar where fine wines age to maturity, the wooden racks of the cold room are filled with farmstead cheeses aging to perfection, anywhere from a few months to over two years. Their cheddar is white, as nature intended cheddar cheese to be. (Yellow and orange cheddars have been intentionally colored.)
Farmstead means: "Artisan-style cheeses made from milk obtained from animals located on the farm where the cheese is made." Thus, Fiscalini Farms insure that they have "happy" well-cared-for cows so they can "control the entire process from beginning to end." Indeed, Fiscalini's dairy, which exceeds state and federal milk-quality standards for both conventional and organic dairies, was the first commercial dairy in the U.S. to receive animal-welfare certification. "It is our intention to make the best quality and most flavorful cheese possible, while holding a reverence for our cows and the land which produces our crops," says John Fiscalini, "just as our ancestors did in Switzerland."
Mariano Gonzalez, the "cheese maker," creates the products with California milk and traditional English farmhouse aging methods. After the cheeses are produced, he ages them in a cheesecloth wrap instead of a plastic-wrapped package used by most other companies. Fiscalini's cheddar is usually aged for about 18 months to 2 1/2 years. The company produces about 4,000 pounds of cheese per week.
Gift baskets are available for holidays and special occasions, in addition to regular cheese orders, and may be ordered online. For more information, please see http://www.fiscalinicheese.com.

PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Fertility Enhancing Retreats for its innovative, educational television series, TODAY'S FAMILY. The organization will be featured in a segment as part of our "Infertility Treatment Solutions Series."
One in six couples experience infertility, but in many cases, the cause is that women's systems are simply imbalanced. Often women will become so stressed at the fast-paced life they live that they do not allow themselves to become pregnant. It is because of this that Dr. Randine Lewis has developed an effective all-natural treatment program incorporating traditional Chinese medical practices to help women overcome infertility and have a successful pregnancy.
Fertility Enhancing Retreats is an extension of this approach, designed by Dr. Lewis. A five-day stay at this resort is the beginning of a three-part program to achieve a healthy pregnancy, which is then followed with an ongoing 25-day home-based continuation of the treatment process to maximize complete balance between one's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. Dr. Lewis offers her phenomenal treatment methods, combined with a special mind-body program for overcoming infertility, at The Crossings in Austin, TX.
During one's visits, treatments incorporate diet, nutritional supplements and herbs, acupuncture, massage therapy, energy balancing, and Asian bodywork. In addition, the spa experience integrates relaxation, cognitive restructuring, yoga and expert advice. More importantly, one is taught how to continue the program at home between visits, and hopefully, during the ensuing pregnancy. After suffering from infertility herself, Dr. Lewis earned her graduate and post-graduate degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, focusing on fertility enhancement. Not only has she resolved her own fertility issues, she has helped thousands of women throughout the world to achieve fertility through natural, health- enhancing methods. For two years she worked alongside doctors in China's premiere hospital for reproductive medicine. Upon her return she established the Eastern Harmony Clinic for reproduction enhancement in Houston, TX, and within five years she had a 75% rate for successful pregnancies.

PTG Studios " Today's Family" to feature Dryel--Dry clean clothing at home--
PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Dryel for its innovative, educational television series, Today's Family, in a segment on "Innovative Dry Cleaning Solutions" in our Home Cleaning Series.
It was inevitable; someone had to invent it—a way to care for dry clean only and special care clothing at home, saving money as well as being more convenient than trips to the drycleaners. The Dryel system steams and cleans special care clothes in your dryer in minutes for just 60 cents per garment! Best of all, there's no damaging chemicals, no fading and no shrinking to worry about.
Here's how it works: The dryer heat activates a moist-cleansing cloth to create a gentle steam-cleaning environment inside the Dryel bag. This environment helps protect clothes from shrinking and helps remove wrinkles while steam gently removes odors. Dryel is so convenient to use that you can put a load in the dryer when you put a load of laundry in the washer. When it's time for your laundry to go in the dryer, your load will be ready to hang.
The system takes about 30 minutes in the dryer, which means you can spend 30 minutes doing something you enjoy.
Dryel can be found in Wal-Mart, K-mart, Winn-Dixie, Target and CVS as well as others, and also may be ordered online.
For more information, please visit: http://www.Dryel.com

PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Dalit Freedom Network for its innovative, educational television series, Today's Family. The company will be featured in a segment for the "Until the Whole World Hears" series, "Reaching Your World for Christ."
It has been stated that for more than 3,000 years India's darkest secret has been the ongoing slavery of more than 250 million people known as the Untouchables- the oppressed. Therefore, the Dalit Freedom Network (DFN) is an American organization that aims to empower this group, the Dalits, socially, economically, and spiritually. It was established for one reason only: to equip the Dalits with freedom. The group's motto is "Abolish caste—now and forever." The Dalits are considered "unborn," meaning "it would be better if they had never been born." Told they are Hindus, they are not allowed to enter a Hindu temple, read the scriptures, or be temple priests. For centuries they have been told that God hates them and is punishing them for past sins. They are denied access to public wells, parks, basic medical services and education. More than 70% of Dalits live below the poverty line.
Now the Dalits are demanding equal human rights and dignity, and DFN, based in Colorado, is a clearinghouse for information about their struggle. DFN connects human and financial resources to the areas of need through quality Indian education, healthcare, economic development, social justice, and spiritual renewal where Dalit leaders help decide the best place to utilize these resources, one community at a time.
DFN works mainly with the All India Christian Council (AICC) to establish an entity to protect and serve the interests of the Christian community and other minorities in India during times of severe persecution and attacks against these disenfranchised groups.
The segment will focus on this struggle, and show how the Dalits, with the help of DFN and the AICC, are confident they can bring about a permanent transformation in their status.

PTG Studios "Today's Family to feature Horizon --Environmentally friendly paint-- --Two west coast paint manufacturers focus on environment --
PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Cloverdale Paint and Rodda Paint for thier innovative, educational television series, Today's Family. The Horizon Paint brand will be featured in a segment on "Accents to Finer Living--Environmental Painting Solutions." Why not produce a paint that is safer for the environment and more comfortable to use for those sensitive to paint odor and fumes? Due to the ever-growing concern for the environment, the manufacturers of the Horizon paint brand are dedicated to eliminating any harmful effects that paint may cause.
Because of this concern, Horizon has been developed as one of the industry's largest selections of water-based low odor paints containing low levels of VOC's (volatile organic compounds). The Horizon paint line is not only environmentally safe, it is enhanced with antimicrobial agents which guard against the forming of bacteria, mold and mildew on the paint film, which are believed to irritate allergy sufferers and those sensitive to paint smell and fumes. It is Green Seal approved and qualifies for use under LEED "green building"certification programs. "The Horizon paint brand sets a leading standard for environmentally responsible paint and provides an alternative to ordinary paint—we are so proud of it!" says Martin McKenna, Cloverdale's director of marketing and business development.
The Horizon paint brand is manufactured and distributed by Cloverdale Paint in western Canada and Rodda Paint in the Pacific Northwest area of the U.S. The two companies merged in 2004. Combined, they have five paint factories and operate over 100 company-owned stores. Horizon is also available through authorized dealers of the brand in western Canada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska.
Cloverdale Paint is one of the founding members of the BC Paint Care Association, now the Consumer Product Stewardship Program, which operates paint recycling depots throughout British Columbia. The companies are also committed to reducing or eliminating any harmful impact on the environment from their operations through materials recycling programs and initiatives.
Cloverdale and Rodda Paint, family-owned and operated, have shared values regarding preserving cleaner air for our future. Producing millions of gallons each year, the companies have grown into one of North America's largest regional manufacturers. "Someday all paints will be made this way," says Todd Braden, VP of marketing for Rodda Paint.

--Christian missionary group helps least-reached groups--
PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Christar for its innovative, educational television series, Today's Family. The organization will be featured in a segment on "Reaching Your World for Christ" as part of a series "Until the Whole World Hears."
The mission of Christar is to glorify God by establishing churches, primarily within least-reached Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and Asian communities. Christar serves as a sending agency for missionaries, facilitating its ministries in more 25 countries. Christar missionaries often offer needed services to people in developing countries and share the gospel, helping to establish local bodies of believers where there once were none.
As followers of Christ, we have a treasure (Matt 13:44) in God and His kingdom. The good news is that this treasure is not limited to certain peoples – it is for all peoples. Our joy is to communicate through our lives, our work, meeting the needs of others and through day-to-day relationships that this treasure is available to all peoples!
Christar defines least-reached peoples as those who have no access to a church where the gospel is preached in their own language and culture. This has been the goal since its inception in 1930. At 70, Benjamin Davidson began The India Mission (renamed International Missions in 1953 and then, Christar in 1999) out of a passion to see Hindus come to Christ. He spent the first two years speaking in schools and churches, trying to recruit missionaries. Christar has grown from just one recruit in 1932 to 325 missionaries today,
Christar is based in Pennsylvania and provides a number of ways to get involved in evangelizing across the world without the need to get on a plane. Anybody can get involved in making a difference in the lives of others through generous donations of money, time, prayers and in-kind gifts as a way of making the holidays "Holy-days."

Deerfield Beach, FL – PTG Studios is pleased to announce the selection of Central Union Mission in Washington, DC for its innovative, educational television series, Today's Family. The organization will be featured in a segment on "Reaching your world for Christ -- until the whole world hears" as part of the "Touching Hearts and Changing Lives Series."
Established in 1884, Central Union Mission is Washington, DC's oldest social service ministry. The ministry began as an outreach to wayward men, many of them Civil War veterans, on the streets of Washington. Strong church support led the steady growth into the 21st century, enabling the mission to purchase and later build increasingly larger facilities.
The Mission's services to homeless and addicted men through overnight shelter and long-term rehabilitation programs reflect only a portion of its overall work. Other services include English-as-a-Second-Language classes and basic necessities for immigrant families. There is also emergency grocery assistance to senior citizens and working single parents, clothing and furniture distribution, and a camp and outreach to children.
Central Union Mission has also just announced its plans to sell its current building at 14th and R Streets in Northwest Washington, the first step in a plan to relocate to a new, state-of-the-art facility on Georgia Avenue in the Petworth neighborhood. The move is seen as an opportunity to improve and increase services to low-income residents throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
"We see this as a wonderful opportunity to increase our services to the neediest families and individuals in our area," said David Treadwell, Executive Director of Central Union Mission. "As a result of this move, we will be able to provide the community with the highest-quality services possible." The Mission provides a holistic approach to meeting the needs of families, children, men and women. The new community center will serve as the heart of this service to the community.
