New to WA this sassy eastern states label by Kelli Wharton is just fun, damn it! Each piece is dreamed from Kelli's colourful imagination that take influence from rare vintage finds, an array of colour, postcards, cultural artists, and traditional embroidery styles.

Not to be missed, this label was THE darling of Rosemount Australia Fashion Week and is selling like hotcakes!

Poodle Breath

A number of stunning Poodle Breath porcelain pieces have found their way into Libertine, better than a deer head over your fireplace or a rabbit in your stew!

Poodle Breath lives in Vancouver BC, Canada, where the owls are not what they seem. She's inspired mostly by nature, like raccoons and squirrels and some feathered creatures. Sometimes, if you listen closely enough, you can hear poodle breath yipping with the coyotes in the night...

TV STOLE MY VIRGINITY By Gav Feilding

The art of Gav Feilding is in high demand with the anticipation of his first solo exhibition.The artist has completed commissioned paintings while juggling a busy workload with fellow Perth fashion designer Lauren Sells.
The designer duo are the creative minds behind labels Tryst, Mixing Cultures, and Peas, Corn & Tomato Sauce (available at Libertine).

Gav is no stranger to the local creative scene, having been featured in a number of publications including the Semi-Permanent Book 07, placing his work alongside international artists such as Dave Kinsey, EAMO and Luke Du Chateau and attracting the attention of editors such as the nationally published "Creative" magazine.

Working with many acrylic and spray paints, Gav's works have a strong street and pop influence. His interest in the ways people relate to each other as groups and as a greater society also extends through Gav's art. TV stole My Virginity's theme is based on the influence of mainstream media on youth and how it forces a controlled culture onto them.

TV Stole My Virginity will be showcased at Ginger's Garage, upstairs, 267 William St, Northbridge 11am-6pm daily from August 24-28th. Opening reception 7:30pm August 23rd.

Something interesting to see at the Perth Fashion Festival, we've promised you the best so of course a number of our fabulous designers are showing this year at Perth Fashion Festival, we're there to steal the show, our world domination plan is slowly but but surely coming to fruition.
