So it seems that every literary advice guru and marketing gonzo insists that a web presence is essential for promoting a book nowadays. I thought I'd taken care of that a few years ago as I bought my very own url and self-designed a somewhat bland, if not informative home page. I was on my way. Only recently did I take note of all the writers on MySpace.com, which I'd only known as a kind of gossipy teenage cesspool. Well here I am. Anything for publicity, eh?
My novel, The Hunger Artist, has been through about nine drafts, and I have little doubt there will be a few more.
