As the popular daytime drama relocates to Los Angeles to continue its tradition of dazzling audiences with 40 years of groundbreaking storytelling, “The View” pays tribute with a one-hour celebration on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11th (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, EST), featuring the show’s creator and television pioneer, Agnes Nixon, plus stars Vincent Irizarry, Susan Lucci, Debbi Morgan, Rebecca Budig, Cameron Mathison, Michael E. Knight, and a very special surprise guest!

As the cast prepares for their big move out West, something has gone terribly awry behind the scenes at “All My Children.” “View Tube” vignettes will feature additional stars from “All My Children,” as Sherri Shepherd and executive producer Bill Geddie recount the steps and try to help solve this (tongue in cheek) mystery. It’s an “All My Children” whodunit you won’t want to miss!

A very special bonus will be hearing Agnes Nixon, the creator of AMC, speak about the show. That is pure gold to an AMC fan!

Fans hoping to get a chance to meet Rebecca Budig on this weekend's Rock the Soap Cruise are in for a bit of a let down. The recently departed All My Children star couldn't make her hubby Bob Guiney's cruise because she landed a guest gig on the hit CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother", according to cruise-side sources.

"Rebecca feels bad about missing the cruise, but this is a great gig for her," says the source.

Budig will reportedly be playing a love interest for the show's lead character Ted.
