Hi All,
how was Christmas? Good? Mine too.
I have a gig on Sunday January 4th but myface won't let me list it. I'll put the flyer up but be aware that I'm still Sally7 not Sally6, I'm still not a Cranberries cover artiste and I won't be playing with Ross. I will, however, be playing new songs and providing all-round entertainment for your ears.
Would be good to see lots of people there as it's my first gig since Beeston Festival(!).
Over and out.

Hello people,
you've probably forgotten about me now as I haven't been around for a long time. Last gig was Beeston festival in June I think, which was fantastic. We had about 10 people on stage at one point, and sponsorship from Netto, and the crowd was brilliant (I really must get some photos up).
Anyway, as always I've been writing, and some of the new stuff is very different. I plan to do a couple of open mics soon to try out the new material I've been writing with Iddod (check him out in my top friends, he's on the radio and everything!).
I've also got involved in a new project with Bruno Merz (check him out on here too), and we'll be gigging from January. That guy is going places.
Expect (new) music, (posey) photos (from Adam photography, look him up too), sevens, and a lot more sally, and I'll look forward to seeing you.

Current mood:ill. it’s not a mood but it’s better than ’pirate’
I've been very lazy for a while, but thought I'd share some news and make some promises that I'll have to keep in order to show, at least some, integrity.
I don't think I've done anything but noodle at home since th pulse (the PULSE! of west yorkshire) radio thing. But iddod and i are currently working on some songs, 3 of which are sounding good, and ive just come up with a concept album music video series idea that will take yrs to complete (at the current rate).
We need someone to play bongos on one song in a mexican type stylee (think from dusk til dawn) so if anyone fancies that let me know.
I do actually have a gig lined up (hoorah) in june at the beeston festival. it was great last year, i love mini festivals. make sure you're there. i might even pull out the gimmicks that everyone used to be so fond of.
anyway some ppl have been nagging for me to provide music for their ears, so my weak promise comes in the form of 'I'll have something down by beeston festival'.
Happy day off work x

Hello cyberfriends.
I went a bit quiet for a couple of months but I'm making noises again. Reason was I'd got a bit fed up of gigging, so I didn't, and then I went travelling for a month, but i'm back.
Last week I had a gig in Bradford at the priestley, and then I played in a battle of the bands type thing for Pulse radio at the PM Lounge in Shipley. I got through to the final and it'd be great to see people there- 18th october, same venue. Also got some other gigs coming up, and am planning to enter the radio aire talent thing, even though it looks, shall we say, interesting. One guy even said 'I've got the X factor' on his video(?!)
I am dying to get going with some projects, so if anybody fancies a collab in any form, give me a shout. I'm looking to form a band to do dancey upbeat rock type stuff, plus form a duo with a guitarist to play mellow stuff for money, but I'll consider anything. Except death metal. And christian folk music. And, well you get the idea.
I'm off to get fish n chips fo me tea.

P.S. Check out Yorkshire Music Collective in my 'top friends', they've featured me this week and reviewed Headfuck.
P.P.S. To any of you who are my real life friends, please send me a text 'cause i've just replaced my sim after dropping my mob in a canal, and i've got no numbers.

So...you'll notice I've finally got some musics up. Spent some time in the studio with Solo (what a legend) last week, check out his profile at www.myspace.com/wildcorporationhq
It were reet good. We did 2 tracks, one old(ish) and a spanking new one. I played to a click which I haven't really done properly before, and it went pretty well, especially on Headfuck. There may be new versions of the songs coming up, you'll have to wait and see.
On sunday I played the Carpe 'Seize The Dayerfest' alldayer, and I played surprisingly well considering the state I was in after going to 'Live at Leeds' on sat, followed by Wax:On. I'm well chuffed too, because someone drew me whilst I was playing, will put the pic up as soon as I get it. It was a really good day, with some top bands. Woop!
Next gig might be at The Primrose on Friday, but otherwise will be Saturday 16th at Dare Cafe in Headingley. See you there!

Hello there.
My name is Sally7.
No sinning, no space, no spelling of the number '7'. Just
Sally7
The confusion is the reason for the new profile. Question answered, onwards!
On Wednesday I played at the Leeds Acoustic Showcase at Sandinista! with Hannah Wilson and The Avenues. The crowd was lovely, the sound was lovely and I wasn't bad either. Tried the new song, entitled 'Headfuck', which went down really well. It should be up here soon.
On Friday I went back to the valley and did a special one-night-only (censored) gig for my rents and some old school mates. It was weird but it went well & I got some good feedback. Despite me censoring the set, I still managed to tell one of my mother's friends that she would have to sleep with me (I was trying to explain why she couldn't be a groupie). Oh, and I'd liked one of Hannah's songs on weds so i covered it, have a listen to 'He Doesn't' on her profile.
Other news. It's all go at the moment musicwise. I've got lots of collabs and recording and stuff happening (woop!) and I've been very creative lately. You can look forward to lots of gigs, a Unity Day appearance (if I've moved house in time, but there's not much to keep me in Beeston), new recordings, new songs, (a cuddly toy!), a house remix of an old song, and a techy trancey version of a new song. And that's just the Sally7 stuff, there's also a new rock/dance/funk band (when we find a drummer), a quality function band for ur weddings, 21sts, bah mitzvahs etc (which will hopefully make me money so i can buy food (read 'beer')), and an electro/tech/trance/? album that will be years ahead of its time. Or something.
Next gig is on the 27th at Carpe Diem, it's an alldayer and it's set to be a belter!
Over and out.
