Hey friends,

A slimmed-down version of the Titans (featuring, for the first time, Spencer Rich on drums) will be playing a slimmed-down set (though hopefully with one new addition) around midnight Sunday at the Secret Squirrel -- Picture here a flyer with a huge ornate "420" (because, you know, April 20) with "Secret Smokies" underneath.

Joined, appropriately, by our old friends Mouser, Future Islands, and Everybody Everybody.  Come one, come all.

I'm still posting mp3s to www.titansoffilth.com on every day I have off, although Sunday you will have to excuse me as there is this show I am now telling you about.

Also, May 2 we'll be playing for the first time ever at Tasty World for the Athfest CD release party -- the compilation includes a new recording of "Our Impending Announcement," a fairly drastically different remake of a song from 2003's Our Coma Summer CDR.

Anyway, hope all is well, we'll see you soon-ish I'm sure.

Loves,
Sam & Titans

Hi friends.  How are things?

We'll be playing a free show at the 40 Watt tonight, our first with Spencer playing lead parts on guitar, so we'll see how it goes.  The first live on stage Titans guitar solo will make its appearance in the one new composition we'll be unveiling, tentatively titled "Sad & Strange," which was played by me and Joel H. at the Face/Off event.

It's a long lineup, and we'll be playing last, but we promise to do our best for those of you who stick it out.  We are scheduled to begin playing our set (approx 20 minutes in duration) at 1:15 a.m.
