Well. after giving it some thought, I've decided to go with a video game themed sprite comic. Why? First off, I lack any artisic talent whatsoever, so that takes a hand drawn comic out of the question. Secondly, I have all the tools to create, edit, and use sprites. And fianlly, It's easy, so since this is my first atempt at a comic, I can hone my skills and hopefully improve at this process. I've also got some pretty good guides to help me through this, including one by the sprite editor of the widely popular web comic, 8-Bit Theater. And I also have a few good websites to choose from. I plan to start working on this... when I have some time. School and work are keeping me busy, but I plan to take some time off and really get to work on this, expect to see the first comic up within the near future.

With that said, I need some sleep. If anyone has any and all recemmendations, please share.

Lately, I've been doing some thinking, of life, what I'm doing, and just about everything in general, so I decided that this year I would do something that I have always wanted to do but never bothered pursuing; I'm going to make a web comic. About what? I don't know yet, probably something that has to do with video games. (Obviously...) I've got all the tools I need, now I just have to work at it. When I get finished with my first one, I'll post in in my blog, feedback would be must appreciated when I do so.

So for those of you who know, I work at EB Games (Soon to be assistant manager.) =D

Anyway so I was working there with a friend of mine this morning, and it had been quiet all day, just a couple coming in, and so all of a sudden, I heard a extremely loud and high pitched scream yelling as loud as he could: OH MY GOD!!!! NINTENDO WIIIIIIII!!!!!!! And I nearly had a heart attack, because some six, or seven, or whatever year old kid, came in with his mom I assume, and was jumping around, screaming and trying too get literally on top of the Wii display, and the stupid mother didn't even try to stop him, but within all of this calamity, I coulden't stop laughing my ass off, it was like The N64 kid V.2.

But then it got worst, so when everything settled, the mother came up and asked if we had any Nintendo Wiis (Witch we, nor anybody did.) and when she told that kid... Oh God... Another reminder of why I don't want kids.

Yep, it's beautiful, so sleek, so small, so....white.

You know what I'm talking about: It's the new Nintendo Wii.

I got it last Sunday and I've been addicted ever since.

On launch I got The Lengend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I pre-ordered Red Steel and, Trauma Center: Second Opinion. And I recently got RayMan: Raving Rabbits. And I love all of them....except for Red Steel, witch, though it's playable, and, can be fun at times, It was pretty disappointing. LOZ:TP is amazing though, near perfection.
RayMan is also great, you've never lived until you skydived with the Wiimote.
I've played Trauma Center a bit, and it's also good. Though I haven't spent to much time with it. Also on launch I got a spare Wiimote and, nunchuk and, the Classic Controller.

Good times are to be had by all...

Well, incase nobody noticed it's Friday the 13th, and things are looking up. I got a 4-day weekend (THANK GOD), And most importantly, the Nintendo Wii pre-order's start today. I went to GameStop at 9 this morning and pre-orederd mine. And I coulden't be happier.
