What an amazing month this has been. I have not been over to post a real BLOG entry for ages because I have been soooooo busy!
Last week alone, I had a show with David Pack from Ambrosia, did the biggest Smooth Jazz Jam thing in the world with 50 artists for 4 1/2 hours, had a Pastors conference at Saddleback Church, rehearsals for all of it, a few club dates, 2 sessions, meetings and was on the phone booking dates all thru summer.
There are times that sleep becomes the most lusted after thing in life, and this was the case - just trying to survive it all.
That was last week. I have been gigging in clubs or rehearsing 7 nights a week and just got another 10 song CD today that I have to track - yep - 10 songs by the end of next week.
I would have to say that things are as bust as they have ever been. I love the work and the amazing musicians I have been blessed to know.
I just wish I had the energy to post when things where happening so you all could get some of the details and some of the stories that end up in the archieve files in my head, waiting for someone to say, Hey, you remember when you ......
SO - I only have a minute. I knew I needed to get over here and add friends, check mail and comments. I know many of you come in to listen to tracks and loved all the MySpace friends I met this past 2 weeks out on live shows. I have been encouraged to try and stay a little more active over here and this is the reason for a quick post!
