Okay, so this shoot was really a spare the moment thing. I met up with a guy that is new to the industry name Tucker from Arlington, Texas — a totally cool guy to work with that needs little direction. Anyhow, one of my friends and mentor of photography, Kevin Webb, met up with me yesterday to give me his unused supply: a 6 x 4 feet reflector and stand. It's taller than me! So I decided to put it to good use in this test shoot. Notice the lighting may be slightly harsh because we made the horrible decision to shoot around noon. The reflector served as a diffuser and saved the day. I was using the sun as my fill and a 580exII as the mainlight with a CTO gel. Let me know what you think please View the blog post here http://tracynphotography.com/2008/06/tucker/

Hey! Well, it rained all freakin day Saturday! But I was urging to practice using the softbox and all the accessories I just got and came out with the photos below. Not great I know, but now I know a flash meter should be bumped up on my priority to-get-list. I spent like 30 minutes just trying to get the flash compensation right and adjusting the shutter speed and what not…. The 580 exII is powerful for something so small and the softbox is bad ass. I'm just waiting on these guys response. What do you think? Please be nice! First time using flashes and stuff!

Hey Everyone! I finally found time to go through my myspace comments and saw A LOT of nice stuff :-D I just wanted to thank you all in general, and when i have time, personally, for the birthday stuff. My parents threw a party on the 16th of September at this resturant in Duncanville. It was going ok except for the part where they made my decorate and all that other crap. And then I was trying to get a hold of BJ too and it was impossible because he was miles out of our metroplex... I was exhausted and frustrated by that time. By the time the party started, i was tired so i didn't feel like dancing for crap. Oh mental note, (my 21st birthday i'm throwing it myself and it's gonna be krunk!!!) I went home to shower because i knew my friends weren't gonna show up till later. BJ finally came back into town around 6 so i was like yay, but then i didn't get to see him till 8 o clock! But it was all worth it when he gave me my present....

He bought me a puppy! His name is TJ, "T" for tracy, "J" for BJ.
Name: TJ
DOB: 6/8/2006
Interesting fact: this was one of three dogs that survived the polio virus when they were first born.
I LOVE YOU! YOU TOO, BJ, WITH ALL MY HEART! :-)
Also, BJ, drop by my office one day. I have the pic of us and TJ on my wall. If any of you have training tips for these hounds such as teaching him to hunt and housebreaking please let me know!

ok. I'm just sitting here in my office trying to be all cute and pretending to work. I then get a phone call from my mom to see how I am doing. Then out of know where, she says "before you get in trouble with your dad, change the picture of you kissing the hispanic boy." I suddenly froze! WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!!! How did she see the pic? Haha, this is scary. I asked her the pic from where? She said the cell phone. OMB! I wonder if she think we were playing around being "foolish" on the pic or if she actually knows i'm gay. She didn't sound worried of anything, just really calm. creepy. comment please.

my head hurts so much
COLLEGE DRAMA
i really am at lost right now. There's so many stuff going on and so little people to go to. My tuition is halfway paid and i can't find the money to pay it off. No bank or creditor would loan me money without a cosigner even though my credit is excellent. What the fuck is up with that!!! The only solution i have is to get a loan from the company i work for which isn't so bad, but then I'm forced to keep working there or rather, obligated to pay it off myself. I just want to quit school or i might just get kicked out for non-payment. They make it so fucken difficult to get any help at all. I was originally gonna ask the company to help pay for my trip to Europe, but now that is totally out of the question. I want to go on this trip so bad. I need a break, i need a vacation, i need some time to breath. I haven't had a vacation in 3 years ever since i started working and because of that i break down ALOT.
My lover, or their lover?
Everything going on right now is so irritable. The only thing i look towards to EVERYDAY is to hear from BJ. Yet, I can't be fully satisfied that i have a boyfriend to talk to when some people are complaining that i am taking up his time and that other bull shit. BJ is the only vacation i have! Why can't people be happy for that? I know the whole damn world doesn't revolve around me, but i am human... i need love too.

BJ and I when we are peacefully happy
Update 9/7/06
Well I got the loan to secure my enrollment for this semester through the company i work for. Now i need to spend some time looking for scholarships if any are available. *sighs* The good thing about this loan is that it's gonna be deducted from my pay check like 50 bucks each check and the best part is that they aren't gonna charge me any interest.

It was this exact time last year that I was about to start a whole new life. I was leaving my child hood behind and finally becoming a college boy. Most people would be thrilled at the thought of finally leaving the parental barrier and embracing the real world. I admit, I was excited, yet at the same time extremely depressed. I didnt have anything to leave behind, literally. I was the kind of person that wanted to carry everything on with me, but then I didnt have anything to carry.
It was this time last year that I knew I would have to start a completely new identity, start off a new reputation. I lost my best friend, had very few connections left, and a reputation that I had to start off clean with.
College finally started, and boy were there so many fine guys here but none of them up to my standards. It was around October when my cousin introduced me to this guy at her high schools fall formal. He had a great smile, beautiful brown eyes with long lashes, and a nice physique. But he was in High school and probably someone that wouldnt have blended well with me.
Nonetheless my cousin gave him my number and he called me one day while I was at work and invited me to go trick or treating. In my head I was like what the hell?!?! but then I had nothing else to do so I said yes. To my surprise, one month later we were going out. Score! as BJ puts it.
I honestly didnt know where this relationship would go, but now its officially our 9th month. The best nine months of my new life. And just so that you all know, BJ helped me through my first year of college by pushing me and nagging me about finishing my work, yet he still lags behind in his. I love him a lot and I wouldnt know what I would do if the opportunity to grasp his hand and embrace his hug were taken away from me. Hes one of a kind. His heart, his ambitions, his serenity, for the past nine months, has been all minds. We carve the way we want to live our life, and carve I did to give myself a better life. I love you, BJ. I love you thhhiiiisss muucch! Happy nine months.

Well, today was an extremely awesome day! First off, i shaved my mustache and the lil goatee i had growing...haha... im getting it back though. I miss it so much!
Well as some of you may or may not know, BJ gots a job now so him and I barely see each other during a regular basis.
At around 7:30 I went to pick BJ up and boy did he look tired. He had to work in the morning so I didn't complain too much about it. Yup, we went to the Parks Mall and went to American Eagle, found nothing of interest and Aeropostale and same thing there. BJ tried a couple shirts on but he didn't want it. He looked really good in two of em...hehe... but loser him. Then we headed to the AMC to buy our movie tickets. On our way there we ran into Sarah and Amaya, gave our hugs and we departed. We bought tickets for the 9pm showing of "Little Man". It was a funny ass movie! Loved every moment of it, event he ghetto ass people that we were surround with. :-D There was this guy right next to me though who kept staring at me weirdly, and so yea...haha.. I just moved away from him. During the movie I put that stupid lil seat separator thing up and put my arms around BJ. After the movie I was hungry so we headed to Denny's where we were treated with a FREE MEAL! I was like damn I should have gotten somin more expensive...lol. Afterwards BJ and I went to Blue Park to spend some time with each other. The sprinklers were running so we stood in the center of the play set to not get wet. Then I walked towards the area where the sprinklers were more abundant and I asked BJ to follow me. A little reluctant at first he finally did. I lured BJ closer and closer to me and right as he came in for the kiss the sprinklers wetted us from all around as our lips were still embraced. He was so hot. We spent a good 5 or 10 mins getting wet and making out. Then we went back to the playset and then I got off of it and started running around the field of sprinklers... we got toally wet! Then we walked back towards the car so that I can drop him off at home. As we were entering the car, some lady comes out of her house and says "hey guys listen, if you want to have sex, have sex somewhere else. Don't do it in the park." BJ immediately responded, "m'am we weren't having sex." Then the lady replied "well whatever it was, don't do it here." LMAO. So as soon as I get her address, i'm posting it up here and if you support BJ's and I relationship, help me fuck that house up. Thanks. And that was the end of my day.
-Trey
