Yay! No more demos, unmixed or half-mixed tracks! We took those versions down yesterday. Today you will only see FINAL album-ready songs just like you'll hear on the CD. We hope that they are better than before!

Check out The Hunt. It's the first single (Echelon will be the second). Like'em? Let us know!

We've got another date to add as well. We're playing Saturday Oct. 25th at Club Underground! That, along with our other shows (10/16 @ The 400 Bar and 10/24 @ Station-4) is part of our ROCKTOBER series! Celebrate the death, dimemberment and burial of summer (or mourn it with Tim) with us this Rocktober!

Darkfold has two new shows coming and we're booking more as we speak!

First up is Thursday October 16th at the legendary 400 Bar at 9pm
Next is Friday October 24th at local rock stalwart Station-4 at 9pm

We will be joined at both events by two incredible local bands you may have rocked out/bled to: the ferocious Foresight For Sore Eyes and the enigmatic Human Bean. If you haven't checked out these bad-ass bands yet, you owe it to yourself to do so, and now you know where and when! Look to our Upcoming Gigs section for more information.

And hey, what was that stuff about a new album? Oh yeah, I mentioned that! Hey, wait a minute, we don't have a first album out yet so I guess this new album will be Darkfold's DEBUT ALBUM!!!  Can you feel that? That scary-yet-pleasurable flying/falling feeling? That's the sensation of your world being rocked!!

Darkfold's debut album, Metaverse is coming out soon! And by soon I mean the disc is at the printers -- we're making a shitload so you can finally hear what we've been rocking on for so long. We can't wait until you get a fresh, juicy load of Darkfold upside your head! (er... wait, that didn't come out right...)

More details soon! We should have a release date in a few weeks and you know we're gonna have a CD release show. We'll keep you posted; you keep your eyes peeled. See you soon.

Our first video!! Check it out; it’s on the main Darkfold page.

It’s for Oppressotron, the most brutal cut off our upcoming LP! Oh, did I mention we’ve got an album coming out soon?! We’ve got it pretty much in the can. Now we’ve just gotta figure out what to call it!

In the meantime enjoy the video for Oppressotron. It’s giving me nightmares, man. It’s fuckin’ creepy.

Hope you love it!

Hey everybody! We've put new versions of our songs up. They're better mixes, but they're still "in progress" and there might be a few more tweaks before they're final. Let us know what you think!

Oh, and don't forget: We've got a show coming up on Friday Nov. 16th at Station-4! Check out our calendar for more info!

Rock on,
Darkfold

Hi everybody. We're just getting everything rolling on this here myspace page. Thanks for stopping by. We're Darkfold and we aim to melt your face with some groovy, melodic hard rock!

As you may notice this page is young and mostly friendless, but we hope to change that soon! Please friend us and check out the tunes. Let us know what you think.

We've got a couple of showing coming up in August. Our very first gig ever is on August 21st at Christensen Big V's Saloon in St. Paul (Snelling and University -- easy to find). check our calendar for more details. Also, we have another show on the 25th of August at the Terminal Bar, which is at 409 E Hennepin Ave in Downtown MPLS -- right near that fucked up bridge collapse! So don't take 35W if you're coming from the south, obviously. Darkfold supports bridges, not bombs.

We hope to see you there! Be prepared to get your swerve on!
