Howdy do? Angelina here again for another entertaining and informative "blog post thingy". First-ly I hope (is that even a word... firtsly? is it first off? or first I'd like to say...?) , I hope this finds you well, alive or somewhere better. Having come to terms with the fact that I now am representing my group on this form of communication I would like to apologize for not being more frequent, it has become increasingly difficult for me to do as I have no computer and very limited web connections outside of work. (Hooray for lunch breaks, booo for poor access to spellcheck). A little while a go we 5/6th of the Dregs headed out to South Dakota, SiouxFalls to be more specific. Tim Rach and Suze where one group and the Chad and I in the other. I was driving. I usually hate driving. I'm ok at it (most of the times). Shunt. this is the way we passed the time. howmany ways can we use the word SHUNT to replace existing words in songs... e.g. "I want to shunt you like an animal" ... "This is what it sounds like when shunt's cry"... "I wannatake you to shunty town"... etc. this went on for a few hours. Anyhoo my lunch is almost up and I swore I'd put a word in for this wonderful place: http://www.serenebodytherapy.com/index.html it's a new little massage place in Rosedale. off of Co. Rd C and Snelling, they are full of win. I went yesterday on an unnexpected whim and the whole thing about Re-awakening the body OMG so true. I learned about hurts I was ignoring for weeks. anyhoo if you go let them know Angelina (from the Dregs) sent you, 10$ discount for the first massage. ok gotta go back to the 9-5 lots of luv and prayers for peace and all that good stuff xoxoxo -Angelina

Frost our fearless techie is still working on the Dregs website. Apologies to all who are anxiously waiting it's arrival. To those of you who are not anxiously waiting this arrival, could you just humor us and fake it? Or not… either way it should be up soon … apparently he’s only got “100” pages to go through before he’s done reworking the old stuff and then he’s going to do some new stuff… (that’s as technical as I get)
Other than that I hope this New Year is finding you well… The saying from ....Costa Rica.... is: Lo que no mata, engorda.
(what doesn’t kill you makes you fatter)
.. ..
Xoxoxo

So for those of us living in Minnesota I would like to say. Good for you Horray for sticking with us and braving this cold and ice and saying. "Yes And" to this minus (insert double digit number here) weather.
The Dregs are heading south this weekend
Yup... all the way to South Dakota! whooo hooo!. So long Minnesota Cold, Hello... Hoary Frost and drunken Clown bodhrans! (this is such an inside joke even I don't understand it)
So if you're in the area come and say hi. If you have to stay in Minnesota, good luck, stay warm, and don't forget about us. ... ok so we'll be back on Sunday but still, I know some people with short term memory issues and attention disorders (yours truly is one of them)
Until next time; Luv and sappy things to youz

So there is this show on Saturday the 27th in MPLS, it's gonna be coool... in a Dreggy sort of geek-a-fied way. come out to see Fat Man Crying then stay for the Dregs ... it will be a night you'll most likely remember!
there will be drinking and singing and random states of undress (we'll see how long we can make Frost keep his pants on).
Also Happy Whatever-Day-You-Celebrate-As-A-Holiday Day! or Wdycaah Day for short! and for those atheists among us Happy Don't-usually-have-to-go-to-work-day-unless-you-work-retail-or-live-in-a-country-that-doesn't-aknowledge-the-birth-of-Jesus-as-a-big-deal-but-may-stil-aknowledge-him-as-a-somewhat-cool-ex-person Day! Thank's to everyone who braved the potentially bad weather and made it out to our show last night. We had a wonderful turn out and had an excuse to wear our gawdawful winter attire. A huge ginormous thank you to Mr. J Scrimshaw for making the Theather Garage and his set available. His show "Fat Man Crying:" is currently playing at the Theater Garage (that is when The Dregs aren't in the way). Ff it wasn't for him we wouldn't have been there. Terry Foy was faaabulous as the lithping Chad would say. We couldn't have found our notes without him. oh and if you haven't had a chance to hear him read his book " the night before kris moose" then you should... because it is hi-larious. Corey Benson was a rockstar with the lights and shiznit and over all coolness. if you missed this one there is one more to go. Saturday December 27th 2008... be there ... or be out of town. :) ttfn -Angelina ooh and i add this picture 'cause it was funny he reminds me of a character from Whoville

THE SUPER HUGE HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZAAAAAAAAAH!
We're teaming up and taking on the Theater Garage in Minneapolis for 2 whole nights.
Thursday December 18th at 7pm, come and see Terry Foy read his book (Merry Kris Moose in the traditional Minnesotan) Listen to the Dregs as we sing songs, make fun of bing Crosby (in a loving yet comedic way) Romp (but nothing like the Romper Room) and have a jolly good time with bells. (5$ at the door 3$ for kids, we haven't figured out how to sell tickets in advance so come a little early, exact change is appreciated)
Saturday December 27th:
ADULTS ONLY
Enough said.
