What's up, y'all? Peter Blogdanovich, here. I know it's been awhile, but I've been kinda busy. If you've ever gotten accidentally mixed up in a polygamy cult you'll know what I'm talking about. (Somewhat related story: I'm selling 20 pastel Adidas tracksuits on eBay if anyone's interested).
If you've read the papers or seen the news you probably already know by now: Jimmy had an affair with Barbara Walters in the 70s. He told me he'd be addressing this revelation later via a blog entry here (hmmph... must be amateur night).
He also mentioned something to me about a "Late Night" something or other. I don't know. I'm too busy cleaning my pad after my annual "The Hills Season Finale Bash" last night. I've been throwing them for 10 years now. They became a lot more fun as soon as there was a show called "The Hills."
Anyway, be on the lookout for a Jimmy Fallon blog post.... as soon as he gets done Skyping Barbara (don't ask).
Til then, be good. But not too good.
- Peter Blogdanovich.

Hey everybody,
A quick thanks to you all for visiting this site over the past year and helping make the "Car Wash For Peace" cause such a positive thing. And while I was passed over for TIME's Person of the Year, I want you to know that for the most part I don't hold any of you personally responsible. Collectively?.... still on the fence.
Things will be winding down on this site from now on. Thanks to everyone who's contributed anything here and been a part of this community. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. And thanks to Bilbo Bloggins and Peter Blogdanovich for their bloggin'.
It's going to be a busy year, and you'll be hearing from me again... Til then, I leave you a little parting gift: a video timed appropriately for this holiday weekend: "President's Day."
See you all soon!
- Jimmy
Oh, something I need to get off my chest. Peter Blogdanovich's real name is Gordon Sumner.

Hey everyone,
We've got a Thanksgiving treat for you! When you're done eating your jellybeans, toast and popcorn tomorrow, check out www.funnyordie.com to see Jimmy sing "Do They Know It's Christmas?" with special guest Jack Black! They're backed up by the incredibly talented Mark Ronson (bass), Gerard Bradford (lead guitar) and Justin Stanley (drums).
Feed the world! Wash your car! It's all one and the same—what we're trying to say is: Make a difference this holiday season!
You can actually go check out the video today, but just in case you suffer from Post-Thanksgiving-Dinner Depression (and who doesn't?), we just thought you might want to save it for tomorrow.
Happy Holidays,
Bilbo Bloggins and Co.

Hey everybody,
Well there's only nine more days til Halloween (sing: "Silver Shamrock!") so you know what you've got to do to be one of Jimmy's Top Friends. If you don't have a costume, get a picture of you hanging out in a pumpkin patch, or carving a peace-loving jack-o-lantern. Send em over to us and join the group!
Let us know what you're going to be for Halloween in Jimmy's Comments section. I'm still trying to decide on a costume. Since my everyday clothing generally involves dressing like a hobbit, I might put away the Bilbo and Frodo costumes for the day, and dress up as a Wall Street executive this year. That would make my mother really happy.
Your faithful moderator,
Bilbo Bloggins

Well we're partied out, how about you? Time to clear the confetti, get the spray string out of your hair and send the people who are still sleeping under the dining room table home. It's time to get serious and studious. So to be one of Jimmy's Top Friends, bring on the school pics please! For those of us who graduated a few light years ago, just pull a "Thinker" pose and send that along! Fake backgrounds are encouraged and applauded, but not necessary.

Hey everyone!
Jimmy's Top Friends were going to get all serious and studious this week now that we're back in school, but we've changed our minds. We're keeping the party going all throughout this week because Jimmy's birthday is this Wednesday!!! So the Friends partying like rock stars are staying up, and anyone wearing party hats, holding a Happy Birthday Jimmy sign, or eating birthday cake will be added. (Carvel's "Cookie Puss" cake comes highly recommended.)
Pictures of pinatas and Pin the Tail on the Donkey, however, are not recommended. Personally, when I go to a party, I don't enjoy being blindfolded, disorientated further by being spun around, and then let loose with a sharp object, just so the crowd can jeer and laugh at my lack of precision while blindfolded and dizzy. Likewise with pinatas, if you're the person who is strong enough to bash a hole into these rock-hard paper-mache animals, you're really not the winner since you then get bum-rushed by the entire party trying to scoop up some of the crappy five-cent candies spilling onto the floor. Just my take on things. Anyway, what I was saying was that party hats, holding a Happy Birthday Jimmy sign, or eating birthday cake: in; pinatas and donkey posters: out. Have fun this week!

Hallo. Ik ben Peter Blogdanovich. PBR me ASAP. Rough translation?: Good people of MySpace, "naked, hungry, and lost" is no way to spend a vacation – and yet here I am. As a rule of thumb I tend to avoid hallucinogenics while abroad, but as anyone who knows me will attest, I really hate rules and really really love hallucinogenics ... and I lost my thumbs years ago. Besides, the thought of a peyote/Absinthe combo platter before hitting the Van Gogh Museum here in beautiful A-Town was just a little too tempting for yours truly. And what did I come away with following my 72-hour mental adventure? Three things: 1) They won't let you into the Van Gogh museum if you spontaneously (and some would say violently) break into choreographed routines from High School Musical 2 in the ticket line. 2) If I'm wasted enough, I can speak fluent Dutch. Don't ask. 3) It's amazing how quickly you can be sold into sex slavery in this country. I thought that only happened in Utah and various parts of the American Southwest. Yes, that's right. One second I'm minding my own business, having a pleasant conversation with a bicycle, the next I'm blindfolded, gagged, and thrown in the back of a small car driven by a goon named Joory. At first I thought this was just another one of those Amsterdam S&M cab rides (I'd been on a few the day before). But no. Seems Joory was a salesman. And what did he want to sell? PB sandwiches … and I'm not talking peanut butter, y'all. Luckily for me, I didn't turn out to be what you'd call a huge "money maker." In fact, I think I actually lost Joory 75 euros (that's roughly $104.30 in today's market in case you were wondering). In the end, Joory turned out to be an OK dude. For a Dutch pimp, anyway. He let me go, but not before robbing me, stripping me of all my clothes, beating me senseless, and leaving me for dead near the corner of Oudezijds Achterburgwal and Monnikenstraat…. not far from the Dunkin' Donuts on Sint Antoniebreestraat. So that brings me to where I am today. Lost in Amsterdam. Naked. I met a friendly streetperson earlier who lent me a guitar to cover my privates, and I'm now busking my way back to the States. I've been playing "Car Wash For Peace" (or "De Was van de auto voor Vrede" for the locals) all day, and it's going over well. I've made about 75 euros so far, which is roughly $105.15 in today's market. (Yes, I realize it was $104.30 just a few seconds ago, but what can I say? It's been a tumultuous day… and the currency converter widget on my iPhone don't lie). If and when I get home I just know I'm gonna get sued by the Naked Cowboy. Oh well.
Maak Zeepsop, Niet Oorlog. Peter Blogdanovich.

Hey everyone!
It's been busy here behind the scenes at the Jimmy Fallon MySpace page---school started, and the Summer of Suds ended with a bang at Cait's CWFP---so we had a lot of celebrating to do. After a few hazy days of bar-hopping in Amsterdam, we realized we'd lost Peter Blogdanovich somewhere between Anne Frank's house and the Homegrown Fantasy Coffee Shop. Then his luggage made it to the airport, but still no sign of Peter. I got a cryptic phone call a few days ago from his cell phone, but the person was speaking Dutch, so I just hung up. We're pretty sure we'll hear from him soon though---last year he found his way home from a spelunking-trip-gone-bad in the wild caves of New Mexico, so getting a flight out of Amsterdam should be a piece of cake.
But anyway, we're still celebrating how far and wide the CWFP message traveled, and how much money was raised for charity. Thanks so much to everyone who hosted a CWFP, everyone who went to one and everyone who volunteered at one---you not only got the message, but you spread the message, and it's a good one for the world to hear: no more wars, and no dirty cars. We're waiting for one of the presidential candidates to pick up on it and win by a landslide.
So for the next week or so, Jimmy's Top Friends are celebrating, partying, and having a great time! But the following week, we'll be in the back to school mode, so the Top Friends will be serious, studying, or posing for a lame graduation picture (think chin resting on fist, eyes turned upward toward the horizon, mysterious Mona Lisa smile on lips.) So get with the theme, and you'll be a Top Friend!
Over and out,
Bilbo Bloggins

Hey everyone,
First of all, hats off to Kal, the only Friend to throw TWO car washes for peace! Thanks Kal, we can't wait to see the pictures!
Secondly, don't forget that our new Top Friends theme is going to be friends with artistic flair---we want to see Car Wash for Peace signs, drawings of Jimmy, charcoal sketches of your local car wash, or oil paintings of happy people throwing a car wash. (We would prefer oil, however if watercolors are all you have, so be it.)
Have fun, and send them in to the inbox, along with your email address so we can find you in Jimmy's Friends pages.
Cheers,
Bilbo & Co.
