We will kick off our first venture in the East Bay with a Gossip Tribute staring Nicoleomytoe, Dean Disaster, Liza witha P, Dam Dyke, Lady Bear, Kitty Von Quinn and more as we toast OUT LOUD and Proud the Gossip and Beth Ditto!

You know I want to thanks everyone. It was totally fun. The Cinch asked me to take a break for a few weeks and I have made the decision to just end it. The break was a result of the condos next door complaining about the noise. It is a bit more homophobic than that. The Polk no longer welcomes gay businesses and the Polk Street Merchants Association has even taken action against leasing to gay businesses. A perfect example is the Deco lounge being black balled and the continued pressure to end the gay presence in the Polk so that the Marina and all its clean falsehood can expand. It is gentrification and bigotry. It has been an entire year of facing this as a gay culture. In fact our last show was almost a year after Prop 8 passed and we did our Yeah Yeah Yeah's tribute.
I love Charlie Horse for its angry punk voice and fighting spirit. I loved it because it gave Marcy and Anna and Dam and Dean and Mutha and Juanita and anyone who wanted to be a part a home. The jokes became the story and the story fucking kicked ass! I love that we never played Madonna except when I performed her breaking our only rule... No Madonna thus giving Juanita and Turleen free rage to abuse us with her again. I love that Kiddie has no memory of her six month run as co host because she was blacked out downstairs by 11. I love that the Cinch was the hottest ticket in town because it is a fuckin awesome bar. I loved the bar staff who made the night work and gave us a home. I love the DJ's for making me dance and want to be somewhere. The "talent" that made us laugh till we cried and let us have fun without questioning it. I loved the Taco's pop corn, STRONG drinks. The shows. The girls. The Guys. The audience, you guys were AWESOME and I love you for all that you have given me.
A home. Unconditional love. Faith. Strength. A voice. Acceptance. Patience. A swift kick in the butt. A way to repay and give back for all that drag has given me. Since Boy Bar I was looking for a way to give back and I feel like I have. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. It has meant the world.
Im sad. Let's face it terribly sad. I am going to miss the shit out of this night. It has meant so much. I just don't want to dwell on my tears. 
Charlie Horse has gotten me past wanting to wallow in my tears. I want to move on. I want to create and I don't want the hassles that a weekly on the Polk was bringing. I want to fight a bigger fight. I want to create change and this party made me believe that we can make that change. Plus I have Herr-A-Chick to get dressed like a lady and get drunk and fall down.( As a cougar it is harder on the body than it used to be.) Today in Sf there is so much going on in the city from Tiara Sensation to Ducal Court events and I want to be a part of that again. Plus I am a married lady and I am sure he could use a little more attention and less ego from me.
Yes its sad but its hopeful. Conservatism is not going to win and I am going to devote all the hours that I put into CH and make sure that this city and country start taking notice of the ways that they are bullying us. We need to mobilize in a greater force and I hope to spend the new freedom making that happen. I will see you in the streets and in the bars and maybe even on the Board one day. Wherever it is it's going to be because of the strength you people shared with me. Charlie Horse was magic. It was DIY till the end. It was inspirational. To be a part with you all has been the best and most fun I have ever had.
Special thanks to Bob and Robbie and Miss Lucy Borden. Special special to Lucy! Thanks sister. Thanks to the bar staff new and past that helped so much. I love you like you were family and thats why I treated you that way.

This Friday the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgance join us for another night of mayhem that benefits the Laguna Honda Chaplin Mission Hospice that has lost its funding in recent spending cuts by the Government. (Probably because they were tired of writing out that long of a name every time they wrote a check!) The sisters asked if we minded having a punishing show and I told them we abuse our crowd every week one way or another. Charlie Horse will add Marcy Playground, Pristeen Condition, Joan Crawford Texas and Miss Prick to the show and the sister will provide the other performers! Sister Mary Ralph may even make her lip synch debut! At 11pm Charles Equestrian; our drag king revue with Dean Disaster hits the stage with the Mama's Boys and Delicio Del Toro! Following 2-4-1 drinks from 10-11. This will be set to the rockin' tunes of Dirty Knees. Don't miss a great night for a great cause! In 2 weeks we have another installment of Rock and Roll at the Eagle when Rentecca and I present Excuses for Skipping and much more at the Eagle Taven. Show 10:30 and only5 bucks. This coming Friday we get to learn where it all began for some of your favorite Queens, Faux Queens and Drag Kings. Holy McGrail hosts our little show and invites you all to see the first number they have ever done on stage. Sharing these numbers with you are Godiva, Sheena Rose, L Ron Hubby, Joi deVivre, Downey and Kegal Kater. This weeks 11 Pm show is Dam Slam spoken word with Dam Dyke; who if you came by the Seussian free for all at the Castro street fair was the Lorax and creator of our fantastic sets. DJ Dirty Knees will burn the decks with his rock and roll and this all follows 2-4-1 cocktails from 10-11!
Our Wednesday Night rock and roll party Herr-A-Chick comes back meaner and leaner this Wednesday Night as Rentecca and I host the Reaction live plus the command return of Cissy Manchester as our guest for the 15 Minutes of Fame slot. Plus Godiva, Nicoleomytoe, and Duplicity perform outrageous drag acts of astounding daring! Doors at 8:30 show at 10:45.
Thanks for all the fun the last few weeks! Looking forward to the trip up North to join Blow Pony in Oregon on the 24th! Plus a drag brunch 12 noon at Crush the next day.

On the 11th we take to the Bridge for Marriage Equalities Bridge Walk starting at 9 am in Crissy Field. Hope to see many of you there!

This Friday the Illustrious drag legend Putanessca will join us as co host for Buzz Kill! This show is about shoe gazer or fuzz/wall of sound music from the 80's and 90's. Think Jesus and Mary Chain, the Kill, My Bloody Valentine, the Ravonettes ect! I tried to get all people who do not envibe in any (get it Buzz Kill) way but quite frankly I just don't remember meeting that many people who don't party like rock stars! I actually don't remember anything at all most of the time. So join DJ Dirty Knees and he spins the music that L Ron Hubby, Monistat, Precious Moments, Anna Warhola and many more kill the buzz. Plus the Marcy Playground Minute at 11 following 2-4-1 cocktails!
Thanks for coming out last week it was one of our biggest ever.
Are you wondering why there are so few performers listed it is because my MAC crashed two days after getting it fixed loosing all my information about upcoming shows. So if you are in this show please let me know. If you signed up for Holy McGrails First Song I ever Did in Drag show Next week let me know. If you wanna be in the Welcome Home Noseeum show on October 23rd or the Monster Movie Pre Haloween show on October 30th with Cookie Dought please let me know. Some of you have already signed up but I have no way of knowing who so PLEASE send me your info.
Also if your Band has signed up to play Herr-A-Chick or you are one of our 15 minutes of fame performers let me know WHEN you signed up for. Otherwise you WILL be replaced because I have to have someone on the schedule. Thanks. I am terribly sorry for any inconvienance.

Always around my birthday I want to escape. Beautiful sandy beaches with swaying palms and Brett and I enjoying Margaritas pool side. However this always seems to be the busiest time for me instead and this year is no exception. Wednesday the 16th Herr-A-Chick, at the Eagle Tavern, hosts its first theme night and Its 80's inspired featuring Madam and the Ants, Litz the Opera Lady, 3 bladders on a stick Rentecca, Juanita Fajita and myself, plus drag talents of Mutha Chucka, Pristeen Condition, and Aurora Styles. Plus DJ Don Baird and all for 5 bucks! Doors open 8:30 and are manned by Britt. Dress 80's get in free! Friday I turn 42; at Charlie Horse; with the help of some of SF's best Drag talents! Join Mutha Chucka, Raya Light, Ferosha, Miss Nix, Lady Bear, Joi deVivre, Opalteen, Downey, Cookie Dough and Miss $1.98 Miss Rahni as our special co-host! This week at 11 its Charles Equestrian at 11 with host Dean Disaster following 2-4-1 cocktail hour from 10-11. Plus DJ Dirty Knees! Saturday at the Cinch is Charm Pop, a silly dance party for the seriously insane and its also a benefit for the restoration of the vandalized pink triangle that sits atop Twin Peaks at Pride. Drag performers, including me, will help raise money to repair this much loved symbol of Pride week. Next week is Folsom and Monistat and I are hosting the 7th street stage at Folsom Street Fair from 11-2:30. The Night before I dj at Billy and Geroge's new club Sissy Fit in the Mission. Punk Punk Punk and I can't wait. I miss Trans Am and Chrome so I am looking forward to new beginnings! Thats at Sub Mission 18th and Mission. Then the week after is the Castro Street Fair and we are already off to a good start for our Dr Suess land that will be in the World of Wonderment section of the Fair. Still looking for a few Star Bellied Sneeches so let us know if you want to come play! Hello there everyone. Hoping that the day is starting off in a good way. We had our first organizational meeting for the Castro Street fair where we will be doing a World of Gay Seuss in the World of Wonderment section. I am super psyched looks like a good year! Looking for some drag Whoo's to populate Whooville and Star Bellied Sneeches. Now on to this weeks program.
The always charming Raya Light is taking a break from her "Unbearable Lightness of Raya" in the Fringe Festival to join us on 9-11. The date that the Twin Towers were taken out by a terrorist organization. Well we have snapped back ... or have we? Join Raya and I for TWEEN Towers- The new American Terror this friday. Tween Terrors brought to you by Alotta Boutte and Holy McGrail, Lil Miss Hot Mess, Sister Viva, Pristeen Condition, Downey, Virginia Suicides and as Miss Liberty Herself Precious Moments! (Who absolutely killed with Wheels last week.)
Plus at 11 there is Dam Slam- Spoken Word with Dam Dyke. The theme is short stories. Thats right after 2-4-1 cocktails from 10-11 and always free! Plus DJ Dirty Knees spins the records that make the little ghouls cry! Always FREE!
