Happy New Year everybody! New Year for us means new CD! It’s about freaking time, but there is (of course) one more delay. The person doing our artwork has had some personal issues and has missed the deadlines, so we will not have them as planned this weekend in Moscow. We’re bummed, but we should still have them by the end of the month (at the latest, probably sometime on the Cali/AZ tour).In any event, we’re practically beside ourselves with excitement at finally getting the new album out. The ‘official’ release date (with publicity and radio promo and all that) will come somewhere down the line. But we just don’t want to wait a second longer than necessary to get it to y’all. You can preorder it now from the merch section at www.clumsylovers.com and we’ll send you your copy from the first boxes we receive. Of course they’ll also be available at the shows as soon as we get our first copies. We’ve had an unusual amount of time off the past month, which has been great in its own way, but we sure do miss the road. Quite a few of the dates are already posted, and there will be a lot more added over the next couple weeks, so keep checking back.Our sole December gig was New Year’s Eve up at Schweitzer Mountain. It was our third time playing NYE’s there in the last four years. Like the first two times it was sold out, and a totally great time. Brandon and all the staff make us feel so welcome. We just eat and drink and make merry, and then they give us a check. This job still defies belief, even after all these years.
