Hey everybody. Your pals, The Clumsy Lovers, here, about set to hit the road in earnest. Summer touring is hands down the finest touring of the entire year. You can't beat the mix of shows (festivals and amphitheaters and parks mixed in with the usual night club shenanigans). And besides that, we basically live for Rest Stop Frisbee, which makes us naturally sad in the rain and the snow and the cold. But in the summertime sunshine? We're like the proverbial pig in, uh, filth. You know? Like, happy!
All the shows booked through Labor Day weekend are listed below, but there will be a LOT more added to that second half of August tour. We'll be back with an email update before then, or keep checking the site. Also check the website for more details on the gigs coming up (phone numbers/addresses/times/etc). All our contact info is at the end of this email.
We are still looking for merch help for some of the shows, so if you're interested in volunteering for any please email back.
And don't forget we are still offering a free "Make Yourself Known" t-shirt when you purchase the new CD (of the same name, LDO) at the shows. No coupon required, just ask! Oh, and "Make Yourself Known" (the CD, not the t-shirt) is now available at iTunes.
Now, on with the show(s):

The Clumsy Lovers Online
Seems the internet is all the rage these days, and we sure do love to keep up with the times. Here's just some of the ways you can idle away the hours online with us:
www.clumsylovers.com. The classic. Still your best source for Clumsy Lovers news and info, including the venerated road diary.
http://www.facebook.com/pages/..the-clumsy-lovers/28812315022. That URL doesn't exactly roll of the tongue, but it does take you directly to our 'official' page on facebook. Word is you can actually get 'normal' URL's on facebook now. Somebody text Reba and tell her to get on it.
www.myspace.com/clumsylovers. Facebook might be where it's at these days, but we'd venture a guess there's still more music on myspace than any other site.
www.twitter.com/clumsylovers. Trevor is our official twitterer. He's just getting going, I think it's gonna be epic.
www.chrislj.blogspot.com. Chris's personal blog, where he talks about both his jobs (he plays poker professionally in addition to the rocking and the rolling) as well as general life stuff. We'll try to get other band members going on the personal blogs. you'll be first to know! Couple small things before we go. We are still looking for a merch volunteer for this Saturday night in Boise, so if you like selling stuff please drop us a line. And our 4th of July gig just fell through, so if anyone knows of anything going on in Montana that needs a last-minute band, do send them our way...
Feel free to write back if you need more info on any of the shows, or for any reason at all!

Happy New Year everybody! New Year for us means new CD! It’s about freaking time, but there is (of course) one more delay. The person doing our artwork has had some personal issues and has missed the deadlines, so we will not have them as planned this weekend in Moscow. We’re bummed, but we should still have them by the end of the month (at the latest, probably sometime on the Cali/AZ tour).In any event, we’re practically beside ourselves with excitement at finally getting the new album out. The ‘official’ release date (with publicity and radio promo and all that) will come somewhere down the line. But we just don’t want to wait a second longer than necessary to get it to y’all. You can preorder it now from the merch section at www.clumsylovers.com and we’ll send you your copy from the first boxes we receive. Of course they’ll also be available at the shows as soon as we get our first copies. You can also preview the whole album in the jukebox on the website’s front page, or at our facebook page (search ‘clumsy lovers’ at www.facebook.com to find that). With the new CD comes much touring. We’ve had an unusual amount of time off the past month, which has been great in its own way, but we sure do miss the road. Quite a few of the dates are already posted, and there will be a lot more added over the next couple weeks, so keep checking back.Our sole December gig was New Year’s Eve up at Schweitzer Mountain. It was our third time playing NYE’s there in the last four years. Like the first two times it was sold out, and a totally great time. Brandon and all the staff make us feel so welcome. We just eat and drink and make merry, and then they give us a check. This job still defies belief, even after all these years. There’s a little video with some of New Year’s and some of the last Tractor show posted in the aforementioned facebook page.
