Man 'Ana/ Who am I? Is khalid's first album since his 2003 release of The Burdah. The album is a collection of introspective and popular songs Glorifying Allah and praising the Last Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The songs fuse together traditional Arabic melodies with a contemporary sound through the expression of voice and percussion only.
The classic Imam Busiri poem, The Burdah is revisited in two parts with more modern renditions. Also featuring is the voice and poetry of Dawud Wharnsby, most notably on the upbeat song, 'In My Heart', calling for common understanding and peace amongst us all. Khalid's North African heritage is present in his delivery of 'The Ballad of the Content' a 17th Century poem reminding himself and us that in God we must put our utmost trust.

Salam dear friends,
I have been a way for a very long time now and finally I was able to get back into recording again.
My New album Man'ana meaning Who am I? Is being released be my friends at Jamal Records. It was nice to be able to record again, and try in some way to share the beauty of Islam with my brothers and sisters. I sincerely pray that Allah accepts this work from us ameen.
