Hey guys, just a little update for you... It's been a real long month.  Gigging, recording, traveling, organising/disorganising, being really skint :] and having fun have all seemed to work themselves into the weeks ;]  Christina and Olly went to Florida (pics will miraculously appear at some point), where he has now been dubbed 'Mr. JigglyButt', they got back to find themselves in some band drama, got their heads around it to go straight into the studio with Rob Clydsdale, pulled off some really awesome gigs and knuckled down to secure a wicked opportunity to play in Marbella, Spain.

Being able to get through the bollocks and crap that people or life put you through, and maintaining your focus and integrities... that's professionalism.  that's self respect.  that's why the juice is worth the squeeze...

Hope you're all good,

xx

So, it's quite apparent to us that we are lucky enough to have a lot of really awesome fans.  These days, with the help of social networking sites like myspace, facebook, twitter, etc., we get to actually know you all a bit better...  fan mail here doesn't exactly get "lost in the post"  Talking with you guys has been really inspirational in these hectic times.  It's helped center our own thinking about the stuff flying around us.

As a small token of appreciation, we've devised a little tribute link for you, our fans.   'Drum roll please..............!'  That's right, Fan of the Week.  Any of you can partake in it.  And it's quite simple really.  This is NOT a contest, and there are no rules.  Basically, we all need a little extra love on occasion.  Whether it's because you've had a hard week, or had something kickass happen- you guys let us know and through our contact with you, we'll pick the FotW.  It's not a popularity thing, by ANY means.  As a little recognition, we'll post your picture myspace link on our homepage.  Like I said, it's just nice to be noticed, and appreciated.

That's it.  Keep writing to us.  We'll keep writing back.  If there's one of us in particular you wanna talk to, just put their name in the subject box.  But don't be surprised if you get multiple responses... we're all really nosey!!!

Now, a MASSIVE shout out to our very first Fan of the Week... ♥  Lil' G  ♥  She's a total sweetheart and we're so stoked to know her.  Everybody thank her, it's cuz of her that we started this.

Well, this is a long time comin'.  We're Gone Til Monday, and very proud to introduce you to our new line up:

Christina Novelli,    Vocals/Lyricist
Oli Lawrence,
Bass/Backing
Wil Lawrence,         Lead/Backing
Kristian Dluzewski, Drums
Jovi Ball,                 Rhythm

Things have been happening so quickly in the past few months.  It's kicked off with finding our new drummer and guitarists on day one of the auditions Christina and Oli held.  Oddly enough, Christinas horiscope (sagittarious for all you astrologists) for that day said that 'at 7pm, the answer to your question will reveal itself'... and who should walk in?  Kristian and Wil.  After two audtion time changes on that day, they were able to make it, and at what time? 7pm.  No lie, I hold my hand up to that!  As for Jovi, he was our first contender for the day- and he was not going down without a fight.  There is something to be said about a person with that kind of spirit, dedication and drive.

After just a few short weeks of intensive practicing, GTM found their sound.  On stage, we found that their stage presence molded as well.  They've got moves you don't even know about!  No fancy choreography needed, just pure entertainment for the fans (just ask about Christina's chicken dance- pure rock 'n' roll).  The response from you guys has been nothing short of amazing and drives them all to garner as many live shows as possible.

From the source of this all, they put into motion a documentary to be filmed over the coming months, intwined with their video for 'Triumph', raced to and from the Cream Rooms in Hertfordshire to lay down 'Triumph', procured 2 different and amazing amateur photographers (Stitch and Antonia) to visually record their progress (gig photos in the process of uploading), and with the help and support of Koreena, are organising a FANTASTIC charity event to be held at Late and Live in Christchurch on May 24th with all proceeds going to charity and a radio broadcast to be aired within the coming weeks on Nerve Radio Fm, Bournemouth Uni (thank you Abi!)  Also in the works are local festival dates to be announced for their summer tour.  They'll be laying down 2 more tracks for their first EP asap so they can send all 3 songs off for mastering  to get into your hands and on your cd/mp3 players!  WHEW!!!  All of this since Feb.11th

There will be a MAJOR single release event in the works for SEPTEMBER 1ST.  Keep that one in your diaries as well, because it's when you, our lovely fans will officially be able to start downloading the track online.

And I'm sorry, but I've got to mention this... GTM played an impromptu acoustic set the last week of February and who opened up for them???? Austin from the X factor!  Who else was in attendance?  It's Chico TIme.............!

So, THANK YOU.  The energy and support you guys have been giving to GTM is mindblowing.  Write to them, and they'll write you back!  Don't be shy either- they love it just as much!  And look forward to personal blogs from them on here as well.  This one was just planting the seed.
