step 1) install top box on your favorite scooter

step 2) put 12 pack tasty beverage and 4.5 kg. (10 lbs.) of ice in box.

step 3) ride around the block while people look at you with that WTF look in their eyes. Put kick stand down and open top box. Notice people's eyes go from WTF to The Party Is Behind That Scooter.

I shaved my beard off last night and I came into work with a cap on. Someone said, "Party on Wayne!" said, "Party on Garth!" But thought it was odd and random. Then when I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, I laughed. haha

I need a Wayne's World cap.

Last night I jumped into my grandparents pool and installed this lighted water arch for my grandmother. It changes colors and after a while it each stream changes it's own color at random.

Saturday morning I ran out of fuel while running on the main. I went 120 miles on 3 gallons which turns out to be 40 mpg. Not bad if I don't say so myself. While on the Katy freeway I was doing about 75 mph and noticed everyone passing me up.

Today I cross checked the speedo with my GPS and sure enough I'm going about 8 to 10 mph slower than what's indicated.  When I bought the bike I was given an extra gear if I wanted to pep it up. I'm starting to think that the bike already has the performace gear on it and I was just given the stock gear back. If so, I think I'll put the stock gear back on so my milage will increase and engine isn't screaming at 6k rpm at 65 mph in 6th gear.

Speaking of GPS, I found my Garmin GPS V that thought was stolen when my flat was ransacked. yay!

So right after work, the clouds broke open and there was some blue sky for a bit. For the first time I was able to really get into the throttle of the new bike.

One word: wauw

I jumped on the freeway and got to 100 mph without even thinking it.

First off, I bought my first sportbike. A vintage 1986 Honda VF 500 Interceptor. I'm really loving it. It's the quickest thing I've ever owned. 0-60 in 4 seconds. It's a big move up from my scooters. But I'm not abandoning my scooters. I'll be at the Conroe rally in October's Spook & Scoot event.

DVD: Patton - Special Edition
DVD: Office Space
Film: Tropic Thunder (which I had high hopes for, and it did not let me down. I would see it a second time)
