Greek techno legend AXEL KARAKASIS (Primite / Omega Audio / MB Elektronics / Rhythm Convert / Yin Yang / Naked Lunch) offers his new track ‘Average’ for the Techment Records remix competition! Now is your chance to remix one of the biggest artists in the scene, whilst offering your own imprint into the history of Techment Records! The winning remixes will be selected for an exclusive digital EP to be released alongside Axel’s original track. Thanks to EPM, Techment’s digital distribution is extremely well developed, opening its releases to a worldwide audience, including and beyond the normal stores. We recieved plenty of excellent and innovative remixes, big thanks to everyone who submitted their rework of Axel’s epic track – Average. Due to the high number of remixes, we have chosen the winning remixes that we feel encapsulated and highlights the Techment Records peak time funky techno sound, these will be released with the original track on the main EP, but we have also chosen a small selection of remixes that we feel deserve the attention as well, these can be made available to download from the Techment website later this year.

REVIEWS IN DJ MAG (PL) AND M8 MAGAZINE

 

Polish duo on english label. I have to say that this ep extremly fall into my ears.
I think it because my big love for "new time new place" of mauro picotto & r. ferri duo."exact expression" its not a remix of this track but almost similar dizzy (crazy) tempo , similar sound and similar "moves". In Vortechtral's remix we have more drums but energy (extremly huge!) its the same. Darkrow remix is well done little bit dim dub version , next we have 3 versions of Atom Breaker (originally we have 4 tracks on vinyl , the rest 2 are digital bonus) Seccond composition has the same quantity of TNT material - unfortuantely , its again the story about "new time new place" - for me its a bomb , but for you maybe not. Bryant baker made minior changes and Oddessa Soundfreaks made
