1 LinkedIn.com (look me up there under Leslea Harmon)
2 Facebook (a great place for integrating friends into my writing life)
3 Myspace

Myspace really isn't good for meeting business contacts, in my opinion. I think it's too personally-oriented. People who haven't ever made a webpage or had a personal showcase seem to really enjoy having myspace, and you know, I don't blame them. It's a lot of fun. But I don't think it's great for business networking. I mostly get add requests from people w/ get rich quick schemes or multi-level marketing opportunities.

Try LinkedIn.com if you're serious about meeting other business people in Southern Indiana. :)

This myspace has been so neglected because facebook is so much easier to use! Sorry, it's true, though.

I blogged about it today on our website. Have a look.

Were you there at Kye's? If so, maybe we met. We sure did meet a lot of people who are interested in using myspace, blogs, other websites to really build their brand and go beyond a 'fakey' relationship with potential customers.

People really do like doing business with companies they trust, and there's a lot you can do to make that happen online. Please contact us to talk about how we can help you make that happen.

Our clients are currently throughout the US, so don't be afraid to call if you are outside Louisville. Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY area businesses do have additional services available, however.

Why or why not? Just curious.
