I've been getting a lot of queries for band management  - for the time being, my hands and roster are currently full.

For those of you who have asked me to listen to your music or give advice, I try and listen to everything, but things are very busy right now, so my apologies in advance if it takes me a while to respond.

BTW, I tend to prioritize those who have a specific reason why they wish me to listen. Please do your homework first - always. ;)  This is Lesson 1 from the frontline.

Lesson 2?  Always get in it writing.

Please do not vent to me about it unless you have something new to say - in which case, I am all ears. Deal with it for what it is or check yourself and create new directions. Which leads me to...

Lesson 3: rules were made to be broken... so long as one engages intelligence, sensitivity and awareness.

Despite Tuesday usually being a slow night, 8mm packed The Loft with fans, friends and local artists...

It all started pre-show:

Sean and Juliette with Ben and Mike of Chronic Future.

Juliette with Tim and Andy of My Darling Murder.

Juliette Beavan: nominated for Hottest Femme Fatale On The Planet.

Celebrity t's: Elias of My Darling Murder generously ran (and rawked) the merch table.

The delightful Mike Busse of Chronic Future: looks and talent in one power-packed package...

Mike tells Sean and Juliette about the new songs.

The house was packed.

8mm were fabulous.

After the show...

Ben of Chronic Future and Ryan of Back Ted n-Ted help Sean tear down while they discuss guitar pedals...

...meanwhile, in the crowd, the vibe from the show got folks feeling their oats...

Brandon of Chronic Future.

Andy of My Darling Murder with 5th member, Boot.

Boot feels bodacious. And he is.

Andy with Jim of The Attitude. Jim is a funny guy.

I just realized Andy may be the tallest guitarist in the business.

And as we left the venue for a family gathering...

...there were these guys. They really like mushrooms.

After show gathering - L-R: Elias, Heather and former Guns n' Roses manager, Alan Niven, Sean and Juliette, Mike, Jim, Andy, yours truly.

Trisha knows why the ladies love Boot.

Jim is a cheeky monkey...

...with many colorful stories of rawk...

yes, he just said that!

Meanwhile, Boot and Ryan discuss quantum physics and the frequencies of different musical notes.
