Hello!!!

Ok so yesterday i decided that i wanted to take gymnastics again. and to really get this story you much know that when i was little like about 6-7 yrs ago i was rly good at gymnastics. So for some reason i wanted to try it again.  And gymnastics is something that you just never forget, it's like riding a bike, but even if you know how to do it, that doesn't mean that your body can still do it.  Anyway i was put into the intermediate class, and all was going pretty good , and then the coach was like ok round off's everyone! and im thinking it's only been a couple of years i am sure that i am stretched out enough to do a round off easily. Now round-offs have always been a strong point for me, but again it's been a couple of years. so i do one and i swore i pulled something in my back. but i did it over and over and over again and they started to not hurt as much. Then the coach was like on Back-handsprings. So me thinking oh i can do it, it's only been a couple of years  . Well i did one and i heard my back crack and i thought that i had broke something, but it was just my back popping. but as i continued everything got alot easier.

So that brings me to this morning, i could barley get out of bed i am sooo sore!!!! And like everywhere!!!! My back, my arms, my legs everywhere!!!!! but i will be fine, and i can't wait to go back!!!!! lol

my first blog!!!!

hey hey hey this is my very first blog!!! i don't really know how to work this yet but i am trying!!! lol 

OK so this weekend me and 2 of my amazingly awesome friends had a sleepover. ok so we got a little nutty. we went to Claire's in the mall and got colored hair extentions and then wore them to the movies!!! amazing!!! lol we got some funny stares. we saw Marley and me. AMAZING!!!!! i swore that i wouldn't cry but i couldn't help it i did. 

After that we came back to my house and well we have this chocolate melter thing. and well we got like a little messy with melted chocolate everywhere!!!!!!!! and well we were txting and IMing and well pretty much anything and everything. well by the time that we went to bed it was 3:30!!!! and then one of my friends left at 7. so we were pretty tired!!! but we had a absolute awesome time!!!! 

So i am still a normal girl, hanging out with my bff's , and acting like a fool in public.  yep, i call that a normal teenage girl! lol

Interview with Taylor Ware at CRS 39th, 2008

Ch.L.: Taylor welcome to CountryHome Magazine.

T: Thank you, im glad to be here.

Ch.L.: You are the first one who is so young that yodels and has built a success out of this. Can you please tell me how you have done this?

T: Well, I taught myself to yodel when I was 7 years old from a yodelling instruction book and tape. The first time I performed my yodelling was at a little country Oprey and they said that I was very good and so I worked a lot on my yodelling and when I was 9 years old I won the yahoo national yodelling championship and when I was 11, 2 years ago, I'm 13 now, but when I was 11, I was on Americas got talent and I was in the top 3 and it was a great experience doing that.

Ch.L.: You played at the Grand old Oprey, so how was that?

T: The grand old opery, is my most favourite place to perform. Its such excitement the crowd is absolutely awesome. I have performed at Rhyman auditorium and the Oprey house, the new one and its just fantastic how it is. You wouldn't think the stars backstage would be star like but they are just people, they are just like us, they are normal.

Ch.L.: You have a CD called 'American Yodelling Sweetheart'. is this yourself?

T: Yes, well, we kinda just came up with America's yodelling sweetheart and someone put that on one of my pictures once and we kinda went with it.

Ch.L.: There are a couple of songs such as 'How Does She Yodel' and 'Yodelling Cowgirls' and a lot more songs on your CD. What is your favourite?

T: I have a couple of songs on the CD. My all time songs is 'You Taught Me How To Yodel' but my second favourite song on this CD is 'Yodelling Cowgirls', its high energy, it's a lot of fun to yodel, but this CD was a lot of fun to make, I got to perform with the writers in in the sky on this, they did two songs, 'How Does She Yodel' and 'Yodel Your Troubles Away'. it was a blast. There is actually a song on here, it s called Nola, its completely yodelling. Carolina Cotton made this famous back in 1939 and it's just a really great song, it was originally a piano piece but she added yodelling to it and I kinda copied her and added my own flair to it , its really great song I think. This CD, it was a lot of fun to make, its definitely a yodelling CD, there's 10 yodelling songs and only 2 singing songs.

Ch.L.: You are young but you have to deal with business, so what's it like to be a kid in the music business?

T: Schools most important. I go to a private school, but my school life and my music business life are completely different. I have my hobbies I do in school, but I have my whole different life in the music business. I mostly do most of my shows in the summer and on weekends but sometimes you just have to do things during the week, but my school is lenient about me and as long as I get my work made up they are ok with it. My parents always make sure I want to do something before I do it. I just love it. I always want to be a kid, if something feels like I'm reaching too far out there, I'll be 'No, I want to go to school'. After Americas Got talent I could have gone out to Hollywood and stayed out there but I wanted to go to school and be a kid. Actually in a couple of weeks I will be going out to Hollywood and I'm hoping to have a lot of fun out there.

Ch.L.: I understand you are supporting handicapped people from your Myspace.

T: Well right now on my Myspace its kinda like a make a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy association.

Ch.L.: Can you explain more about this?

T: Well, last year I was on the M.D.A telethon, Muscular Dystrophy is a disease where your muscles don't do what they are supposed to do or they don't develop or function in the right way. I was on the M.D.A telethon last year and I raised 2 million dollars during my five minutes to sing and yodel. I'm very glad that I could raise that much money for people who need it. Right now I'm the spokesperson for the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee and I'm going to different schools around Tennessee and speaking to them about Eating Disorders and how deadly and dangerous they can be and trying to make people more aware of how these eating disorders can be and how to prevent and how to help people who already have it.

Ch.L.: I'm doing a big charity auction to raise money for handicapped children. Do you have something that you can donate for the charity auction?

T: Yes, I would like to donate some CD's and Pictures for the Auction.

Ch.L.: Taylor, do you have a message for your fans worldwide

T: I would like to say, thank you so much for supporting me and liking my yodelling and to remember to always yodel on.

Yes! We just got notification that I have my own booth again this year at the CMA music Festival! I will also be having a fan club party.

I will be giving away free autographed pictures, and will be performing on one of the outdoor stages.

I am so excited!

Also, CMA has asked me to join up with the Girl Scout Council and perform with an official Girl Scout camp on an outdoor stage the last Sunday of Fan Fair.

I have been a Girl Scout since I was in the second grade,

My mother was a Girl Scout, and my grandmother was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

I still sell girl scout cookies every year!

Happy 2008! What a year 2007 was but I think the new year is going to be even better for me. I've been taking the initiative on working with my agent in scheduling my performances for this year. I'm managing the date book and it is so exciting to plan ahead. I am so excited on what is in store for this year I'll get to visit with my Yodel Patrol and MYSPACE fans that have been solidly behind my every move. I recently (october 14) participated in a Fashion Show to benefit the "Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee". I really enjoyed participating along with the featured artist and country star Deana Carter (Strawberry Wine). The Master of Ceremonies, Anastasia Brown is a well known Nashville star judge and is so nice to work with. There were many other country stars participating as well and I was so happy to be there and be a part of this important benefit show. I had so much fun modeling and meeting everyone at this Fashion show and concert. Here are a few photos taken of me at the event. I hope you like them.

I proudly sang on the the nationally televised MDA Telethon in LasVegas in 2006 and was so honored to meet Jerry Lewis and many other famous stars. While I sang the total went up a couple million dollars! I am hoping to perform again this year. I love MDA and Jerry Lewis and have been asked to spread the word about this worthy cause. Australia is going great! 

I held a Koala yesterday, we also saw mommas and baby Koalas in trees together, so cute.  The momma holds the baby on her belly and tilts back in the tree and they sleep.  I would love to bring one home. 

The one I held weighed 20 pounds, no personality but had huge black claws.  It had sweet puppy eyes, soft fur, and smelled like eculyptus!  Afterwards my jacket smelled like euculyptus. 

Funny thing,,,,, if you move your hands as you are holding it's bottom, it thinks the tree is falling and starts slowly waving its arms to hold on.  Remember those big black claws?  Mom moved and did that when she held the adorable 20 pound Koala thinking she was cuddling a cute 18 month old toddler.  Mom instincts.  It very slowly reached up from her arm for her face and hair to crawl up on her head?  The tree is not supposed to move.  The expert Koala person got it and they started over. 

Believe me I stood very still when I held it....very still like a tree.     

Thanks to all of you for staying tuned in to my travels. I am having so much fun but can't wait to get back and YODEL AMERICA!

Taylor is in Australia through the 18th of July working closely with Yahoo! the internet company promoting the Yahoo!7 bringing the Yahoo! yodel back- down under to Australia. Taylor is the Yahoo! Yodel National Champion. A way that she and Yahoo! are doing that, is with the brand new fun microsite Odle to the Yodel at www.yahoo7.com.au/yodel. It should go live on Monday the 7th. Taylor will be appearing on the national Australian TV show "Sunrise" Monday morning, July 7, as well as many other TV and radio, and press throughout her stay.
