Here we find ourselves!!!

... and so continues the big bang!
All involved with Heal the Last Stand would love in this moment to thank-you for your awesome support ...

We have been made aware that the songs on our profile page have entered the Myspace Music Charts in the Folk and Americana Catagories. (The charts are calculated by how many listens a band receive on a daily basis.) ... As I write these words the new single "Horizon (I love you...)" is thriving in all catagories, please feel free to take a moment and listen, if you love it :) pass it on. All this would not be possible without you guys liking the music and vibrations so much!!! ... We recognize and we are cheering your grateness as you read these very words!!!

Friends are watching closely and informed us a few days ago that we were second in the Folk charts only to Mumford & Sons ... (our favourite new comers!). A brilliant and welcome surprize and one that has opened the doors of possibility and adventure a little wider ...

So ... for all of you who have made new playlists for your Myspace pages and added our music, we say Congratulations and Thank-you for spreading great vibrations!!! You make a big difference  !!!  ... and as a thank-you from us, we will release another song to the playlist in the next few days... Hope you love it ! X

We will continue talks with the record company this week consentrating on the Welsh leg of the UK tour, Festival Dates and a production schedule for new recordings ... We are incredibly excited about the possibilities.

Well Hello beautiful friends :) ... How are you? Really. ... Thank-you for believing in that little something more !!!! You are the great ones!!! ;) you are filling our sails with the winds of hope and joy.... ... So much has happened and life is alll around us as always letting us feel it..s magic ... ... The People of Wrexham Support - World Peace Day


On Monday Afternoon 21st September from 12:30pm  the people of Wrexham will gather on the Library field to support a day of Global Ceasefire and Non-Violence.
"By focusing on peace, we will create more peace".  It is time to recognize this as a fact, It's not rocket science.

 To accompany this historical gathering a local group of musicians have been asked to perform their unique music on the Library field Bandstand.

 This year, the President of the Global Alliance of Ministries and Departments for Peace asked Wrexham Band 'Heal the Last Stand' to travel to Costa Rica to perform a peace concert for the Global Peace Summit. Amidst controversy, red tape and a desire to strengthen the world around them, they opted to stay here and have been instrumental in raising awareness of Peace in their home town. "Peace really does start with a focus on your own values and then it can ripple out into your community" says Joey Dickenson spokes person for the band... "This day is a great opportunity to say very little and yet make so much happen"  

To some it's just a single day, but to aid workers, the 21st September is a 24 hour-long platform for 'life saving activities around the world' and an opportunity for individuals - particularly young people - to become involved in the peace process. 21st of September is the UN International Day of Peace, a day of Global ceasefire and non-violence: Peace Day

In September 2001 the British and Costa Rican Governments put this idea to the UN General Assembly, and the first ever Peace Day with a fixed Calendar date was created. This was unanimously adopted by every member state of the United Nations. 

"My experience of conflict is that those who are involved in it long for even a day of peace. To have a day of cessation of violence, that to me is an idea whose time has come."Mary Robinson, then UN High Commissioner for human rights.

So ...  Butchers, Bakers, Candlestick Makers, Young, Old, Rich, Poor, Movers, Shakers, Teachers, Children ... you reading this now ... This is the greatest opportunity ever presented for every-one to become involved in the peace process, and all that people are asked to do is show up, bring a picnic if you like, whatever brings you a smile. The vibrations will do the rest. It's our turn to say what makes the news. By showing up, we will bring peace into the centre of the ring for a time, let Peace be the focus and we will see what can happen. Please don't wait for the government, the people hold the power, always have and always will. See you on monday.

We're having a smashing time with the album, we hope it will be available to all very soon. In the mean time to get you excited, we've put up a new song and a short film of us playing that song at the arts association on Saturday night. Hello, good evening and welcome !!! :)

the temperature is 78 degrees, the suns ashinin ... and well... it's been summer part 2 here in Wales, and the vibes are high ... 

Just a quick hello to say a massive Thanks for all of you who had our Live Recordings on your Profiles ... We are sure this is a brilliant way to help spread the vibes ...

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your awesome support...
and as they say "What you put in - You get out" more or less :)

We are all on our journey's, and may we enjoy each step the very best that we can :) ... Life :) ... the big big adventure, how are you doing?? :)

'Heal the Last Stand' is four  words... a name, but if you look a little closer and share some time in this world you will find something you can have and hold in your hearts though it may be un-name-able it will be knowable as feeling of, well ... this is up to you :)  ... and please we are not telling any-one what to do ... it's just here, should you be looking for that illusive something more, the invitation is here to explore with us

"Just been to llangollen Eistedfodd, where I heard this truely wonderfull and happy group of young people, who made the the best of their time to give the people around a sound that rang like rays of sunlight into a darkened room, and the fantastic melodies and songs for the Heart.

Vocals were beyond compare, as their unique and combined voices enhanced the music which made it come alive.

I should hope that next years Eistedfodd, you will on the main stage and giving the whole of the competion a lift which it surley needs.
