Thats right part of a pilot for a comdey central is going to be shot at the shop

MONDAY MAY 11th at 1PM

The premise as I understand it:  similar to a last comic standing type of thing.  3 comedian hopefuls will do there "sets" in front of a "regular audience" (non comedy club setting).  Each memeber of the audience will be given a click counter.  Everytime you think something is funny click it and the comedian with the most clicks at the end wins that round.

Come down be apart of the audience get a haircut.

Should be fun hope some of you can come down and fill up the shop.

Mustache March is not just a contest but a grass roots cultural movement.  A revolution if you will.  Mustaches have been a controversial part of history, they have been banned by kings, forbid by employers and used as a form of protest.  The popularity of mustaches has had its peeks and valleys and today we find ourselves at the lowest of the lows.  We need to bring it back!  Restore mustaches to there former glory days.  Mustache March is the beginning of the revolution.  So let the hair on your upper lips grow for the the month of March.  VIVA LA MUSTACHE!!


There will also be 3 awards given for BEST OVERALL MUSTACHE, PEOPLES CHOICE and THE DIRTYLIP AWARD.  The winner of each of these will be given a FREE haircut and straight razor shave.

Rules are as follows

1.  You must be clean shaven march 1st.  No pre-existing Mustaches!!

2.  After March 15th only mustaches allowed.  No connecting beards or goatees

3.  In order to enter the judging for the free haircut and shave you must come down to Anthony's Barbershop (2408 21st Street) between March 30th and 4pm April 9th to have a picture taken which will be posted on this myspace page.  You may enter before March 30th.  Come get a picture taken even if you don't think you win

4.  HAVE FUN.  Most importantly this is for fun

Official Judging Categories

1.  BEST OVERALL MUSTACHE--This category is judged on a wide variety of factors.  How well the mustache fits your face, creativity of mustache shape thickness or lack there of, color, and style.

2. PEOPLES CHOICE--After April 9th when all of the pictures have been taken I ask you the people to vote on your favorite mustache.  There will be a special mustache march picture folder all you will have to do is put a comment on under the picture saying VOTE.  You can call the shop and vote as well.  Tell all your friends to vote for you!!!!.  They will have to add me.  PLEASE only one vote per person.

3.  THE DIRTYLIP AWARD--This will be for all of us that can't grow a good mustache.  The thinner, creepier, the more disqusting  the better.
