A bit of an old news here..
It is with our deepest regret that we inform you that our guitarist
Justin has amicably decided to leave the band. This came straight after our successful Australian tour in September. Citing personal and
schedule commitments, this puts an end to a very fruitful and memorable
2 years together. Justin has been with us for 2 years and has played a
significant role in the band's progress thereafter. He is still a great
friend of the band nonetheless .We wish Justin all the best for his
future endeavors and we thank him for his contribution.
We are currently auditioning guitarists and our new axeman will be announced in time
Cheers

Bhelliom Australian Tour Diary
Day 5 & 6
So there we were, still wired up from the awesome show that just ended a few hours ago. While the rest managed to catch about 3 hrs of sleep, Gene and I became poster boys for "Dawn of the dead" having just had over an hour of shuteye. The big show was on that day and once again, we had a 6am fucking flight to catch.
Till the point we landed in Adelaide, I was pretty much a waste of fucking space. Once we managed to get some rest in flight for about 2-3hrs, we felt much better. We went straight to the venue from the airport and we were greeted by our comrade in Truth Corroded, Jason. By 11am, the crowd started streaming into the venue for the big big metal show.
We were slated to play at 4.30pm so till then, we checked ourselves into the hotel to get more rest. We were joined there by our very good friend all the way from Singapore that deserves the most honorable mention, Soong. After lunch at a local casino cafeteria($5 fish & chips!!) we got our butts over to Fowler's live for Against the Grain 5.
By being the first ever international band to grace this festival was an initial pressure point. But kudos to the mental Adelaide crowd for the kick-ass support. Another great show under our belt and the rest of the day was spent over beer, making new friends and watching some really mind-blowing Aussie metal bands.
There was a post-gig party at a nearby rock bar where Jason(TC) was also simultaneously celebrating his birthday. We hung out with the guys from Lynchmada, popping in tequila shots basically having a fun fucking time. Daniel, the drummer deserves a special mention here for helping me get back my precious camera that was knicked by some fucking bitch by the bar. Thanx buddy!!! We had an early night though cuz we were still fucking fried from all the travelling etc.
So...tour is over and we had one off day in Adelaide. At around lunchtime, we spotted this pizza joint about 5mins away from our hotel. Frankly, those pizzas were probably one of the best that we've ever had. We sat by the nearby lake stuffing over faces while looking at the sunday family crowd having their respective picnics.
Later in the evening, we hooked up with Greg and Jason from Truth Corroded for drinks. As usual, by 2am we were plastered over a mixture of beer and tequilla. A perfect way to end the tour off. By the next day, it was frowny faces yet again as we had to go home but overall it was certainly a blast! We would do it again in an instant!!
There are a couple of great people that deserve a mention for making this tour tick. Firstly, shoutouts to Lexie and the guys from KlockBlock for organizing our Melbourne and Brisbane shows respectively. Massive appreciations to Mourning Sound and Truth Inc records for the overall tour support. Our buddies in TC for making it all happen again. New friends/bands we've met on the road, the crazy Aussie metalheads from all the 3 shows and FINALLY..A BIG BIG WORD OF THANKS TO OUR SESSION BASS PLAYER KENNY for helping us out this time around. To see you step into the fray with ease and confidence was certainly an inspiration for all of us.
Well.....that's it for now. Once again thanks to everyone that made this tour kick maximum ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you all back there soon.
Ciao Vivek

Day 3
This was the start of it all.6am fucking flights for the next 2 days. Well, happy enough that we're not traveling by road at least. We assembled at the lobby of our hotel at 3.30am for the trip to the airport. It was truly an art to see 6 half-dead idiots lugging baggage and our sorry arses into a maxi-cab. The flight to Brisbane was about 2hrs(i think cuz all of us pretty much knocked out in the plane). We flew Virgin Blue which was pretty ok I think. The ride to the hotel from the airport was another 20-30mins and then yet again we were told that the check-in time was only at 2pm. But at least we managed to leave our stuff in a safe room so that we could roam around and kill time. After Breakfast and countless cigaretts later, it was 2pm and we got some rest till about 7pm. The venue(one of the best we've ever played in so far) was called Rosies and it was just down the road. We shared the stage that evening with 3 bands. High Plain Drifters, a stoner metal band, Bonesaw(Death metal) and a unique group,KlockBLock that payed homage to the cartoon Dethklock. It was a truely amazing show with Brisbane at their best. This gig ranks as one of our favorite shows of all time. A big "fuck yeah" to everyone that banged their heads at Rosies that night. It was just awesome!!!! After the show, Gene and I were treated to more beers by this Irish guy(thanks dude!!) and we ended up finally at the famous down under bar for more booze with another 3am wake-up looming in front of us. More to come later... Cheers Vivek

Day 2
After a good night's rest, we hit the Victoria Market for some chow and a bit of shopping. It's at this point where we feel the full harshness of the Australian chill with all of us practically freezing out arses off. So after a couple of hours at the market, we headed back to prepare for the show later. The great thing about this hotel we were put up was that the accommodation and venue/pub was on the same building. Thus there wasn't a hassle of having to travel. At around 6pm, we decide to go for dinner/pre-show meal etc. Across the road, we saw an Indian joint and we decided that this is gonna hit the spot. Well, it hit more than a spot and we were fucking immobile.haha. The show went off pretty well and we had a good chance to warm up for Brisbane and Adelaide. Even though the turnout wasn't that impressive due to the usual weeknight syndrome it was still a great show. What was entirely different for us was the fact that venues in Australia don't normally have an In-house equipment rider. Compared to back home here where everything is already set-up, bands usually bring in their own gear for shows. Nevertheless, we managed to borrow the necessities from our new friends in Humonic and the show kicked ass. Kudos to Lexie, Frankenbok, Humonic(especially for the gear) and The Ophidian Acsension. We certainly made a lot of friends that night(that homeless guy who was offering $2 for a cigarette). Good times!! By 1am, we retired back to catch about 2 hrs of sleep before heading off on a 6am flight to Brisbane.More of that later. Cheers everyone Vivek

Day 1
After a long and disappointing flight(the seats were shit) we reached Melbourne at 7.15am. We were immediately greet by the longest fucking customs line that we've probably ever seen. Ends up that the Aussie customs are pretty strict about food items being brought into the country(pity those Indian nationals who bring a whole sweet shop with them) After being in the line for about an hr, we are approached by an official who saw us with our musical instruments asking us the standard declaration questions. He ends up asking us "So, you guys brought any mooncakes?"Haha. So with that, we were let off from the line and out we were in cold cold Melbourne. Swell!!!
We cab it down to the hotel and we're given to understand that we have to wait for about 4-5hrs before check-in. Thanks to Greg of Truth Corroded, we were given a door lock combination code that allowed us to enter this backpacker's hotel but there were absolutely no one in sight. So there we were, trying to catch up on some sleep on the couch till we finally decided to get some beer...Boredom = Boozing!!
Finally we check in at 2pm, get ourselves cleaned up and we hit the town. So where did the 5 fuckheads of Bhelliom + Joshua of Truth be Known end up...make a guess???..St Kilda's beach, once again with 3 cases of beer..We just don't change do we???Haha.
After getting pretty tanked up, we head back for dinner and then to bed by 10pm...How metal is that huh???.
Part 2 to come soon..
Cheers and Hails Vivek

Bhelliom did an interview with Australian DBmagazine recently, covering topics on the band history and their upcoming tour A melodic death metal outfit from Singapore who have been good friends
with local band Truth Corroded for a number of years now (and with whom
the latter band did their Asian tour last year), Bhelliom will be the
first overseas band to take the stage at Against The Grain. “I formed
Bhelliom back in 2000,” bassist Joe informs me. “The members of our
initial lineup were having some time off from the rigours of our
mandatory military service, and we started off doing covers from early
Seventies and Eighties bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Black
Sabbath. Towards the end of that year, we started toying with the idea
of writing some stuff of our own, and managed to write two songs by the
following year. Around that time, however, some members had to leave to
pursue other commitments. A guy called Damien came in at this time to
take over guitar duties, and he and I have been the core members of the
group ever since. My younger brother, Rahmat, joined the band in early
2003 as vocalist. His involvement spearheaded our melodic-death era,
but was unfortunately short-lived as he was hit by a drunk driver that
August, and succumbed to his injuries after a two-month coma.
Obviously, I was devastated by this, and put the band’s activities on
hold for a good six months before we resumed practicing. To this day,
we maintain our melodic death sound.” To read the full interview :

Current mood: bouncy
Heya folks..
As most of you may know by now, we are just a fortnight away from hitting Australian soil for a 3 date tour. We are absolutely flattered and stoked to be able to play for all the crazy demented Australian fans over the 3 cities.
With this, it's our deepest regret to announce that Joe will not be able to make the tour due to overwhelming work commitments. He has tried his best to get away from the clutches of corporate chainhold but eventually he had to give this tour a pass.
As a result, the bass duties will be handled by none other than our trusted sound man/friend Kenny. Kenny who has been on the last couple of tours with us has been doing a marvellous job so far and we can't wait to hit the stage!
Apart from that, we would be doing a local warm up show on Sep 12'th at Crawlspace studios. A bit unique that is,since it's a gig cum flea market so all ya shoppaholics and headbangers should head down for this unique event.
Anyway, i'm outa here!!...See you at the fuckin' warfront!!!
Cheers Vivek

We are still stoked from last Sat where we finally made our local comeback after a year and a half. With the superb mix of young and old headbangerz, it was certainly a night to remember for all. Our kudos and hails go out to all the great bands that night that flew the flag of Singapore metal high!!!
And of course to all the fans/friends that were in the pit and venue likewise..our huge appreciations to all of you for the never ending support. To see all of you that day was like a huge reunion. Horns up to all of you
We're currently in negotiations for a couple of kick-ass local shows. Once the confirmations come in, we will update accordingly.
