MOMENTS OF GREY FORGETTABLENESS
/UNRELEASED SONGS COLLECTION 2006-2009/
/Listen Loudest records - 2010/

We (pndc&housework), decided to clean our shelves from dust & other leftovers and found a lots of lost tracks, demos, remixes and other tunes we didn't find appropriate space to use them for almost three years of our online collaboration. So, that means this is not our regular, next, 3rd album - it's just collection of songs that we think they deserve to be published. Also, don't be surprised by variety of sounds (and we may say genres) on this record; it's a pure evidence of our inner lifes, emotional states and rough description of better or worst periods in our lifes. So, we've really made a lot of songs (even we published only two albums and three ep's) but of course we chose «the best of the rest» for this compilation and we hope you'll enjoy in listening as much as we enjoyed maknig it.

CD SECONDHAND LANGUAGE
/Ammonite records CD028/

ALBUM PREVIEW

«“Secondhand Language” is a fine effort from this eastern European producer and will garner him some much deserved respect from within the industry».
rating: 7/10

/Altsounds/

"Think about Wolfgang Press in its more Soulesque-Post punk induced days, all this topped with the rutilant voice from Mr Nick Cave while highly unstable and you’ll be into PNDC & Housework party"
/Heathen Harvest/

"..dig in and there’s plenty to appreciate here"!
/Bearded magazine/

«Housework expresses fear and anger in his voice, as he and PNDC throw up some terrific hooks with their respective skills on guitars and synths».
rating: 7/10
/SIC Magazine/

"a skillful and subtle mixture of new-wave, dance and electronic dark-pop/wave with '80s music echoes, but managed in a completely new cybernetic-acoustic and analog version".
Rating:
9/10
/Terapija/

«Anyone looking for a quality electro-pop with enough dark elements certainly will not be disappointed».

rating: 4/5
/Rockline/

"a fantastic, beautiful journey full of emotiveness, and sweetness from start to finish.".
/Pan.o.ra.ma./

«Intriguing, imaginative and original. Another release that the author can be very proud of».
Rating: 3,5/5
/Muzika hr/

"Segundo disco de PNDC está impregnado de melodias cativantes, mas misteriosas, e ao mesmo tempo de um conjunto de afirmações estéticas de personalidade que lhe permitem explorar algumas novas paragens sem, com isso, perderem a facilidade amigável do primeiro contacto, num enquadramento sedutor que se intensifica a cada nova audição".
/O Dominio Dos Deuses/

New dark-wave pop with illustrious melodies, great dark moods with infectious “popular” appeal that is hidden in a layer of experiments”.
rating: 8/10
/Audiotier/

«The synthesizers have a haunting quality and the guitars take care to add a warmth that works as a welcome counterpoint, resulting in strangely beautiful songs».
rating: 7/10
/Disagreement/

"Intimate atmospheres, electro wave sounds and melodies will seduce your soul".
rating: 4,5/5
/Noisebrigade/

"... so this brilliant record is more than welcome. It’s thoughtful, intelligent and bristling with melody, pop sensibility, diversity and inventiveness - a heady mix. If you like electronic music this represents an essential buy".
rating: 4,5/5
/Shakenstir webzine/

"Imagine Depeche Mode, Ian Curtis and Freddie Mercury rolled into one and you get the idea. It really does lead to a very strange listen.... If you would like to hear something a little out of the ordinary and dark, then PNDC could be for you... "
rating: 3/5
/The Mag/

"A great album, once again... The music is still a fine blend of new wave with a love of the somewhat darker undercurrents"
/Viatl Weekly/

«Experimental, futurista, curiosamente dançável, intimista, misterioso, ‘Secondhand Language’ tem várias facetas a explorar, sendo um convite para um universo particular, que nos desperta os sentidos das mais diversas maneiras».

/Projecto cellophane/

" this is a classy album that deserves to be heard by a wider audience than its genre would suggest"
rating: 4/5
/Bluesbunny webzine/

"Sounding sophisticated and creative without forgetting to be "popular", SECONDHAND LANGUAGE is a good album which you should check.
Rating: 4,5/5

Chain D.L.K./

" PNDC from Serbia teams up again with Greek vocalist/guitarist housework to produce another fine slab of icy electro/dance sounds...".
/Leonard's Lair webzine/

OUT NOW!!!! ORDER HERE or HERE

This is the second regular PNDC's album. Basically, we may say that the music on this CD is influenced by various sounds of the 80s but also there's quite a modern touch present in the songs; PNDC continues to deliver us fresh and intelligent tunes as we expected from him. An important difference between his debut album and this CD lies in the quality of sound and in a greater depth of experimentation in the dark pop passages. For example: tunes like «Lost messages», «Shut my soul» or «Pilots» and «What's the harm» are somewhat pop oriented and show us that pndc is quite qualified to make catchy tunes /but, of course, in his own dark, melancholic and depressed way/. On the other hand, if you focus on tunes like «Animal farm», «The buzz» or 10 min. piece «The fix» you'll know for sure where the roots of his music come from and how Predrag and housework are compatible /even though they’ve never met face to face/. The album was made at PNDC's studio in Belgrade-Serbia /Aug '08-Feb '09/. After he finished his part of work, music files were sent to Athens-Greece /by the internet/ to housework's studio where he made vocal parts /and other stuff: guitars, melodica, synth lines.../.  Also, we as pndc's label are very proud of his other collaborations. Greek singer Marina Skiadaresi /aka Shadowlike/ appears on two songs /»Pilots» and «Goodnight»/. Her amazing, dreamy vocal gives a totally new dimension to this CD. Then, Harold Nono /musician and painter from Scotland/ contributed a remix of «Shut my soul»;  Laurent_, French musician, remixed 30.000feet».  /article by label/

MUZIKA.hr (CRO)

+ If You Guess

Written, performed and arranged by PNDC/Predrag Nedic.
Vocals, lyrics and additional guitars by Housework/Athanassous Vavaroutas.

Sleeve design by Stefan Wesley.

Quite different from the usual PNDC and Housework sound and style. The four Songs (plus a bonus track) on this E.P. show there's no genre barriers for them. Strong, almost punk rock sound with edges from electronica, psychedelia and a take-no-prisoners attitude towards noise mixed in, is coupled with straight on or screamed distorted vocals, in an attempt to give the genre back some relevance after years of abuse by poppy copy cats of the golden years. The lyrics paint portraits of a number of nearly demented outsiders unable to cope with the modern world of politics, sex politics and ex-politics.

Release date: 01.August 2008.

(Slusaj najglasnije!-Llisten loudest!/, croatian label is run by Zdenko Franjic, local underground and DIY legend (with a little bit of googling you'll find a large amount of links). He has issued over 200 CD's/for bands all over the balkans and europe/ including 13 issues of the respected series of compilations « Bombing of New York»).

Release date:  15. Feb. 2008.

Genre: alternative /dark pop, bit of new wave, a bit of krautrock/

as you allready know my artist name is pndc and i am Belgrade based /Serbia/. This is my solo project and i am also member of Serbian electronic/ambient band "erogenius" /CD: «send and receive»-Ammonite records 2002/.

It all started in the middle of 2007 when i uploaded my new instrumental songs on myspace page. Interest in those tunes was pretty good, i was lucky to found a singer and few interested labels, so i started working on an album.
Album «Fading away» was made during late 2007, by sharing music files through the internet with my new friend Thanos/aka Housework/ who lives in Athens-Greece. Thanos wrote lyrics, sung and played few guitar parts /and melodica, also/. All songs were arranged, written and performed by pndc. After finishing the material, Dusan Godjevac /aka Dujle/ worked with me on production and postproduction in his studio.

Athanassious Vavaroutas-Housework is active in the greek music scene since 1999 and has performed various gigs with Spyros Faros in the experimental electronica duo "Zero People". His music covers a wide range of styles, anywhere from noise electronica to acoustic ballads. To put some order to that, he has divided his output into two projects "housework" for the songwriting, "4 summer wall" for noisier or more free form experimental material. Other than his work with PNDC and the ongoing "Zero People" project he is also writing music with singer Marina Skiadaresi (Shadowlike). He has also provided music for theatrical productions, art installations and short films.
