Human Kinetics Movement Arts creates site-specific movement installations that blend dance and the visual arts. We're happy to announce that they'll be performing at Musikfest, Aug. 4-8 at Americaplatz (near the city's Serenity Garden). First and foremost, thank you to all of the bands that entered the competition! It truly was a musically diverse and talented selection of bands. Thank you for sharing you talents with us.
Also, thank you to all the fans that took the time to log on and vote!
Here are the 4 bands that the fans have selected to perform at Musikfest 2009:
Parkwright (performing on 8/4, 9:30-11 p.m. at Plaza Tropical)
Dephonic (performing on 8/3, 9:30-11 p.m. at Plaza Tropical)
Jaded Son (performing on 8/4, 7:30-9 p.m. at Plaza Tropical)
The Gary Bonnett Band (performing on 8/3, 7:30-9 p.m. at Plaza Tropical)
The grand prize winning band (that recieved the most votes) was Parkwright. In addition to their performance this year, they've also won a video package from Class-E Media and a booking at Musikfest 2010!
Congratulations to all of the bands that participated and to this year's winners!
