Sup...

This weekend is gonna be epic. We're going up to London early on Saturday to record some more of our EP, then we're coming all the way back home to play a gig right on our doorsteps, at Wallington Halls. That's gonna be awesome, plus it's halloween so we're all dressing up and goin to a party afterwards. Then on Sunday we're waking up at a reasonable hour (ten probably) to get to the second half of our recording session in London.

So hopefully by next week we'll have gained a few more fans from our gig (which you should all come to by the way) and we'll be releasing our EP... FINALLY!

Still not sure what we'll call it, but hey ho, you can all see the artwork on our pics!

Hey, how's school been?

The Red Route's been split up now :( NO i don't mean we split up as a band, I mean we're all in different schools! Ahh! Feels strange not seeing each other everyday haha.

We did a gig last Friday at my sister's 18th party in a marquee, that was pretty awesome. We REALLY want to do more house parties, so let us know and we'll play, even if you only want an acoustic set! Speaking of which, we might have a couple of acoustic gigs coming up so keep looking, just gotta arrange some details.

Tomorrow we're playing Charles Cryer with RockStock and our mates Front Room Massacre... be there! LOTS of people are coming to see and and FRM which is really cool. Hopefully we won't dissapoint.

Halloween is gonna be fun, we're playing with RockStock again but at Wallington Halls (and my other band is playing our first gig:)). Make sure you dress up... I'll be a zombie. Not many people read this but to those of you that do thanks :)

Anyway, see you sometime soon..

Sup?

We haven't been up to much recently as we haven't been able to practice much together as a whole band unfortunately. However, last weekend we recorded a few accoustic songs which are now up on the myspace and our official youtube 'TheRedRoute' check it out if you want. To make up for lack of gigs we're pretty much doin a gig a week in September so you should be able to catch us in the normal venues like Charles Cryer and a lot in Camden and surrounding areas. With recording hopefully late this month things are looking good in The Red Route camp so keep an eye on us!

Check out this outtakes video from our accoustic sessions in the weekend (we just recorded a few songs in my (andy's) room) the last minute is best ;). The rest of the acoustic vids should be up on our page.

Well then,
down in the red route camp mostve us have finished our exams so hopefully we can get to actually doing stuff soon (y)

We've been a bit unlucky missing out on gigs such as carshalton carnival and camden barfly because of certain band members going on holiday :/

However we've been working on about 3 new ones which we can hopefully record soon, also we'll do some more covers once we've decided.

So anyways those of you who actually read this, have a nice summer and expect to hear from us soon :)
