Christine’s 3rd Full CD “Standing On The Edge”
Will be released in Japan on July 1st through Spinning Inc.

Commenting on the upcoming release Christine enthused:

“I'm so excited to have my music released in Japan and I really hope that I can travel there soon to experience the culture first hand! My mom is very involved in the spiritual practice of Shinto, so I have been exposed to Japanese culture since I was young and I feel honoured to make a connection with Japan through my music.”

So It's almost the end of my first quarter at Stanford and I just got home to Victoria yesterday for thanksgiving break. So far I absolutely love it there -- the weather is perfect for me (no more new jersey snow!), the people are amazing, I love my classes and professors and best of all, college= less rules and no curfew :). Looking online at my winter quarter classes, I am most interested in psychology and human biology with a bit of music and drama on the side.

I also joined an A Cappella group there called Talisman. Talisman is a group dedicated to the sharing of stories through song, singing grassroots music from all over the world. You can check out the group's website at www.stanfordtalisman.org

In addition to school, Black and Blue, the movie I was a part of this summer, is getting all wrapped up and it has a MySpace page that you should definitely check out:www.myspace.com/blackandbluemovie If you watch the trailer and complete a really short survey that will only take about 2 min, you can be entered into a contest to win an apple iTouch, so it would be awesome if you could take the time to do that.

I also recently released my song, "Light a Candle" to radio for the Christmas season which is exciting because Christmas is my favorite time of year ☺ I hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

Peace 'n love,
Christine

Hey everyone,

So I've finally made my way back to Victoria, B.C. and it feels good to be home : ). I got to see a couple of the scenes from the film, with working title "Black and Blue", and it looks great so far! Still very very rough though. Next on the agenda is a new album hopefully out by Spring of '09 along with the film and a new music video for Typical which is going to be the next single.

On another note, I was just flipping through the channels on tv and came across the church channel which was showing a program on the Hillsong United Church out of Australia. I have always loved Hillsong and have been to a couple of their worship concerts, but this program really opened my eyes to the other kinds of outreach they are doing and their strong emphasis on the power of youth. It really inspired me to see how they have made the gospel fresh and relevant to people, especially youth, all over the world. They even have a hillsong college that teaches people how to lead worship, and one day I would love to go their and see what that's all about.

That's all for now, but I'll keep you updated!

Hey everyone,

Sorry it's been so long since I wrote. . . lots has happened in the meantime though! Well first of all, I have officially been an adult since May 25 and also a high school graduate! For the first time I think I actually do feel older after my birthday. . . haha not too old yet but lots of exciting new things are happening and I feel ready for new challenges and opportunities.

Right now I'm in LA and am actually working on filming a movie which will be released in the spring of '09. Besides the music videos I've done, this is the first time I've worked with film, so I am definitely learning a lot and working my tail off to do my best.

We've been filming lots of behind the scenes stuff which I'll post soon, but the basic plot of the film is based around my character, Amber, who has a passion for music but a pretty messed up home life situation and she ends up on the streets where she meets a group of kids who have been living on the streets for a while and earn a living by playing music together. The film is pretty intense and gritty at times, but I wanted it to capture both the dark and the hopeful parts of life in order to make it real. I hope that it will really connect with the real life stories of some of the people who watch it.

Keep an eye out for updates and behind the scenes footage!

Peace,
Christine

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so gosh darn long since I've posted anything. . . lots has been/is happening though! I've been doing lots of writing lately in Nashville and will be coming out with a new EP quite soon. If you haven't noticed there are a bunch of new photos up as well. . .

On top of all of that, I'm going to be graduating from high school this spring!!!! Haha, I guess some things never change no matter what kind of music career you've got goin on. I'm still at my school in New Jersey but will be making my way back to the west coast for college.

Lots of stuff comin' up in the summer for gigs as well. . . will let you know the details sooner rather than later.

New songs are a bit more rock than my other stuff which I'm very excited about! I love being able to mellow out sometimes and play soulful stuff on the piano but the rocker in me has been dying to amp it up a bit : )

More stuff comin' up later!

Peace,
Christine

PS- CANNOT forget to mention my new baby. . . that beautiful bright blue Les Paul called "the goddess" that's in my profile pic. AMAZING!

Hi!

Christine has been busy! Playing a slew of shows in the last few weeks, she has been rocking across Canada. Here's how it all went down:

Christine started her tour in New Jersey at an Operation Respect conference. She played in front of an audience of high school students and they loved her! Next she was off to Toronto to rehearse with her band (Adam Fisher on guitar, Cole Edmonson on bass, and Ryan Siders on drums).

She then trekked over to Peterborough to do an interview and acoustic performance on Radio KAOS. Rolling back over to Toronto, she played the Change Conference. It was a memorable performance, and there will be a video of it soon so stay tuned!

Leaving Toronto she headed for Hamilton, Ontario that same night. Playing at the Stanley Street Baptist Church, Christine greeted her devoted fans after her performance. After the lovely meet and greet session, it was off to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for the Western Canada Music Awards, where Christine was up for the Christian award. The award went to Fresh I.E, but hey, Christine is only 17, there's still time!

After that Christine and crew headed to Lethbridge. At the Immanuel Christian School, Christine led a chapel service as well as performed a few songs. Next Christine was off to do a radio spot on CKVN with Famous Shamus. Good times with that one! Soon afterwards Christine played a show at the College Drive Community Church where the crowd was strong and Christine get them going, as usual.

After that Christine got back on the road and headed back to Calgary. First up in Calgary was an on air performance at Shine FM with Jeremy Hunka (Mountain Mike was on vacation).

Following that was a television performance on Breakfast TV at CHUM. Christine talked about her GMA award nomination and her and Adam played "Surrender." Not losing any steam, Christine dove right into a adio interview at Radio 103, and recorded 3 songs and a second interview for their "Sunday Live" show.

Next up was the event that everyone was looking forward – the GMA conference. While she anxiously awaited the award ceremony, Christine played at a Kids Help Phone assembly at a local middle.

Well, it looks like all the hard work and finger crossing paid off – Christine took home the Video of the year Covenant Award! She was extremely excited and is happy to have won such a prestigious award.

It was a doozy of week for Christine, but she is looking forward to hitting the road again very soon!

Stay tuned for more updates!

Thanks!
