Derek W Beck’s Latest Short, "Y NOT", to PREMIERE in CHICAGO!

I've been diligently submitting my lastest short, "Y Not", to festivals, starting with the most prestigious, which are nearly impossible to get into (1000s of submissions, but accepting only 30-40 shorts). But now I'm starting to focus on festivals dedicated to shorts, and "Y Not" has just been accepted to the Chicago REEL Short Film Festival, a successful weekend-long festival that's is now in its 5th year.

You may notice the website doesn't yet have the schedule online, and even I don't know when Y Not will be playing. The festival runs Fri Sept 12 thru Sun Sept 14th in downtown Chicago's Film Row Cinema, part of Columbia College.
