House is about done. It is looking great.  It took me a little longer then I hoped but still well within schedule. I am going to start cleaning out my stuff from the inside tomorrow. The outside is next. I have been getting some leads on a few houses I have been wanting to get for a while.  The timing could work out great. One in a few weeks?  and another in September? My goal is three new  houses this year we will see how it goes. Many times these deals fall apart. One house I have been in and out of negotiations with the owner for three years! I think they are finally ready to sell but they have said that in the past and changed their mind at the last second.

Session is rolling at last.  I wonder how much more we have to go. Most of the big bill are wrapping up and the big ideas are dead or in trouble.

The Vols BBall team has just won their first round game in the tourney but seem to be not as sharp as they were at the beginning of the year. I wonder if  the competition has gotten that much better, people have figured out their press or  have they just slowed down.  A win is a win but I wonder if they will go that deep. I have hopes for the round of 8 and a final 4 would be stellar.   But they will need to step it up if they want to go that far or farther.

I have been working on my new house non stop for the last few weeks in an attempt to get it well underway before I left on my trip.  Much has been done and it is starting to come together but it still has a  ways to go.  My crew will continue to wok on it while I am away. Sometimes it is hard to leave when a project gets really moving. It is sort of exciting. 

 I have had plans to travel for a few months now. My mom and I try to go on a trip together every year or two.  Last year we traveled around the western U.S.A.  for two weeks. It was a great trip. This year my mom and I are going to Italy and Greece and the vatican (yes, the vatican is a sovern nation).  We both are sort of history buffs and and are going to hit the tourist type destinations. The leaning tower, Venace, The parthanon ect., ect.

Well the vols lost. They did not look terrible but the special teams was again a weakness and the D didnt step up as much as I expected. The offence looked great and I couldnt have asked for more. Cal has some FAST people on their team. No two ways about it.

I am off to Boomsday to see the fire works It usually is a great show.

I can't wait for the Vol football season to start.   I loved the first game of last year .I remember as Cal came onto the field to start the game.  The house was full and the crowd was rocking. You could see it in Cal's body language. "Wow, This place is big! Look at all these fans! These people are serious!

On the opening kickoff  of the game the biggest baddest player for Cal, the one they had been hyping all week, got literally knocked out cold. As they carried him off the field his legs quaking, you could see it all over the Cal sidelines.  It was over. They were beat, mentally.

 The "what have we gotten ourselves into?" , "This is going to be a  long, long day" ,"OK the SEC really is a  different level" ,"scheduling this game was a mistake" Could be heard all the way back to California.

Tennessee smoked em.

Now the bears want  pay back.  They are giving out 50,000 megaphones to their fans to try to get stadium sound up to Tennessee level.  Don't hold your breath waiting for  that to  come to pass.

I expect Cal to play harder and the entire game.  Our D should be solid as always but a sluggish O, a Tennessee pass game that is limited due to a broken pinky of our QB and the bears stacking the box to stifle the run will keep the score low.
