So, we've been recording again.
As you may or may not know, we were previously doing some recording at the CATO here in Kelowna, with our comrade in arms, Brad Johnson. Much to our dismay, the curse of Moonlit Burial reared its head, and unforseen circumstances caused us to abandon recording our demo with Brad at CATO. I still love you Brad....
Anyway, flash back to the present.
Just when we thought that there was no hope, Kaylub kindly volunteered his services to us for recording the demo in basements, bathrooms and bedrooms wherever we might find them.
Apart from the endless beat map sessions, mutliple lost drum tracks, computer virus, brutal hand lacerations and various other manifestations of the curse of Moonlit Burial, things have been going pretty well. We've finished 100f our drum tracks (featuring a shiny, awesome kick trigger), and around 60f the bass tracks (featuring mind-blowing 3 layer bass harmonies), with the rest of the bass tracks to follow this weekend. Our estimated time of completion and subsequent pressing of the demo (number 5 tracks at over 35 minutes) is end of June.
And now, for your amusement, some photos from the Kaylub Sessions.
