We'll be adding a show soon in the Jersey area as well, so stay tuned for that as well as a couple other announcements soon.

btw...the shirts are available in XS-XL...

What's up guys...haven't been in touch with you for a little while now.  I hope you have all headed over to Smartpunk to pre-order the CD and get a hold of your copy of Goodbye Old Life as well as the FREE SHIRT that comes along with your purchase...seriously it's a pretty rad deal so go do that already.

As for the meaning of this blog.  I have posted "The Ballad Of Jack Shephard (Battle Chorus)" up on the myspace page.  It's a pretty rad tune...basically we all pretended to be in U2 for a couple days in the studio, and just had a some fun making the huge-est thing we could come up with....ENJOY!

Also,  Next Tuesday is our CD Release and we certainly hope to be seeing as many of you out there as possible...the bands that will be supporting us at the show are Calm and Repose, Like the Stars, Throwing Color, and River City Extension.  It should be a great night so we hope to see you all out there....

Hello everyone : )  So seriously...things have been really coming along here lately.  Practice has been going well, and we are adding shows left and right.  Speaking of which, I wanted to let everyone know that we will be playing shows with some added baggage, I mean band members, so kind of round out the sound.  So please everyone be nice to Rob, Matt, and JT at our shows, they accept hi-five's, hugs, and if they are in the right mood a nice good-game will always get them pretty excited...

In addition, I wanted to let you guys know that the track "I Amsterdam" is up for download at absolutepunk.net as a part of their free music fridays, so if you like free music and you like us, go check it out.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'll be throwing up some of the other songs as well as some other goodies in the very near future.

Remember to add us on twitter if you haven't already done so

What's up guys.  Just wanted to let everyone know that we'll be updating all of our social networking sites in the coming days, including this lovely myspace page that you've been checkin.  Think the normal goods, twitter, facebook, purevolume.  You can't always go from 0 to 60 in a matter of moments, but we're going to do our best.  It's been awesome to watch this CD release come along.  Artwork is almost done, we're about to start printing up and making some goodies for you guys.  And there are some more shows in the works for the Jersey area.  Hopefully everything pans out and works well and we'll be on our way.

Just to let you know what people are thinking about our new release, feel free to head over to Guest List Magazine's website

In honor of my last full day in the City of Angels, I have posted a second song from our upcoming EP. It's titled "When I Escape (L.A.)", and it's a beachy little tune that should usher in the summer quite well.  Please as always let us know what you think and hopefully we'll be seeing lots of you this summer.

Hey everyone...I hope you have all recovered from those Memorial Day barbecue's because I've got some good news for you to mull over.  We will be releasing the EP "Goodbye Old Life" on August 4, 2009 through our own label, ES Music.

The five new songs were produced by Ace Enders (of The Early November fame).  Ace is a pretty big fan of the recordings and recently said this in the Aquarian about us...“I liked them a lot because they weren’t into sticking to just one thing or type of music. They’re all about making what feels right and what they’re into and what’s going to be best for the songs. I like when bands have an open mind and aren’t worried about trends.”  He was nice enough not to mention that I ate all of his windmill cookies and kept forgetting to shut the light off in the bathroom :)

And we're calling it an EP, but it will be accompanied by plenty of bonus material, including cover songs, unreleased tracks, demos from “Euphoria,” and live recordings.  There's going to be over 15 tracks including the 5 new ones, so there will be plenty for you guys to listen to.  We will be posting some of the tracks from the forthcoming EP very shortly...maybe over the weekend, maybe next week...I'm not sure yet but you'll know very soon.

For us, it has been a long hard journey to get to this point.  We spent a lot of time over the past two years trying to push "Euphoria" because we loved it so much.  We thought that maybe if we got it into the right hands, it would really get the attention, and the love that it deserved.  But ultimately, you come to realize that what we were trying to do is not what music is about.  Music is what you make it; because you're the one making it...and I have to say that making this record was one of the best times I have ever had.  It brought me from a place where I thought it was possible that I might never record another song again.  And I'm more proud of what we did here than anything I have ever done.  So part of me hopes all you people love these songs, but in my heart, I couldn't care less...

Much love, and we'll be talking again very soon.
