Recent events… Ive been reading a lot of posts about the recent tragedy. Frankly Im disgusted and dumbfounded on how a few people are saying "Well, its horrorcore, you should of expected this". Really? Why are we to blame? Why should we be the scapegoat? Is it because this kid found refuge in our music? In our escape? Its our fault that he cannot distinguish reality from fiction? Do you point the finger at Stephen King when someone else commits the same atrocities who was a fan of his? No, you don’t. Why is that? Why are we to blame? The difference between Stephen King and myself, when it comes down to brass tax, are mediums. He prints text, I record audio. I have never claimed to be the character I portray in my audio. I am a very humble and down to earth person outside of music. I have kids, bills to pay and a job I goto, just like 95% of the populace. I am a person who entertains audibly with ghost stories. I put on a mask and tell you campfire tales to people who enjoy the darker side of lifes imagery. If you're gonna blame me, you might as well blame Kane Hodder. He put on a mask, killed hundreds of kids and made his villainy into a heroic icon. He's influenced more people and captured a bigger audience that I could ever hope or dream of. This tragedy is REAL LIFE, not a story with fictitious people and movie magic. Movies, books and audio are safe. You can put the book down, push pause on your DVD player or press eject on your CD player to come back to reality. You leave the world of make believe. Life is on going and real. You cannot press pause on life, its ever changing and always happening. If you mess up on real life, that’s it. Its over and done with because there is no rewind. It apparent, for some reason, he could not distinguish real life between fiction. Now who's to blame for his perception on life? Im guessing that comes from up bringing and parenting. If you point the finger, you’ve always got three pointing back at you. RIP Mel and Ragdoll.

Ok, so Im gonna cave in. Ive gotten numerous request to sell the jersey as opposed to giving it away to who ever gets the livest. Im thinking, if this is what yall want fine. Come to the show, bring money and we will just have a face to face auction or something. Who ever wants to give the most gets it.

Well where does that leave those who throw down the most? FREE SHIT! Ha, I will give all types of free ish to those who get the livest, INCLUDING... The one and only Rukus "Got Dead?" Football Jersey. A copy of Rukus new CD, my CD, CDs from the back catalog and a whole bunch of odds and ends. The prize will not be available in full as my CD is not due out until Oct 31. So still get live and get free shit. I wanna see some madness, some yelling, some singing along, some all around anarchy!

Yes, the album is done. Id like to say its my best work and I worked pretty hard on it. Its 13 tracks and the run time is about 58 minutes. Ive got the art work on lock from my boy Poltart, but thats been done for awhile now. I knew the vision I had when I put this CD together and that was one of the first things I had done. The track list is as follows...

1 Nameless
2 The Dead Walk
3 Dear God
4 Gods Laughter ft Rukus
5 Still Cutthroat ft Raven Hunter, Rukus, RSuN Tr8
6 Dirty Lil Secret
7 The Ugly
8 Make It Rain Brains ft Rukus & The J Hexx Project
9 Slave 2 Death ft Bob E Nite & Sicktanick
10 10010 California
11 Darkness Forever
12 See You in Hell ft The SKR Camp
13 A Long Night

Again the release date is scheduled for Oct 31. You know I will have a copy on me. Maybe behind Sicktanicks back yall can chill with me and get a sneak peak. Heheheheheheh.

Well its 5 days away. I will be in the D for the first time and I will be meeting alot of you for the first time as well. Im very excited to say hi and meet everyone. Dont be shy, say hi, ask for pics or whatever. Im a pretty chill dude... See ya soon!

So I thought I would give you guys the heads up to those coming to SFTWF. As I may have said earlier in the year, the plan was to drop "The Ugly" at SFTWF first. Well that has gotten pushed back until 10/31/09 which suits me fine, but what does that leave me to drop to yall that are coming to see Kryptik live for the first and PROBABLY only time ever? The back catalog. I will be bringing CDs from the back catalog to the show at $5 a piece. Also, I will be giving out MY Cutthroat Pro hockey Jersey to whoever gets the livest during out set. Thats a RARE as RARE items get considering these were only offered to label members. Its almost time and Im excited as fuck... see you guys soon!

Yall make me hold my head up high somedays... I just went over to killmusick and read this review. Was a very cool thing to read...
===================================
These are some of my choices for best SKR albums that I've listen to as of late. Now I know a lot of you have already made post for the best of 08 and such, but it has taken me a little while to listen to all of the newer releases so I'm making this list a little late. So without any further adieu this my top choices for more recent SKR Cds.

1. Komatose - In The Sin Of Man

Now this Cd revises the black blood cemeteries pumpkin mask zombie Komatose, as he walks and kills every thing insight. To start of this Cd has some of the best beats ever. Using samples from Classic horror movies such as Candy Man and Suspiria. Along with some excellent movie quotes to go a long with the eeriness. If you love the old classic horror movie feel then you'll really dig this album. Its almost if as every track is a different horror movie raging from Candy man, stated above, to Nightmare on Elm street. This Cd will put a chill up your spine and make your skull freeze with its chilling and haunting themes. Definitely a buy, but I do have a bit of a gripe with it. It does have some tracks that I've already listen to for free on various mixtapes, although the completely original tracks of the album over shadow the old so its nothing to big, SO GO GET IT.

Some the best tracks

In The Sin Of Man.
Great intro. Komatose and Kryptik have some the best Intros and skits and this one does not disappoint at all.

Bring Death.
Original on The SKR mixtape, this song almost topped his song Wenever You Want To Bleed.

Dead Zombie.
Really Catchy chorus. Dead Body Still walking, Its so quotable you'll be singing it at work or at school. Fuck I'm still singing it.

Suspiria Hymm.
Fucking awesome track, haunting as all hell, and who the fuck doesn't dig that theme music.

Sleep Baby Sleep.
Haunting and very disturbing track. It'll have people not into horrorcore shitting bricks

Don't Matter Much To Me.
Original of off Devils Night 2K6, So sick and disturbing it made me flinch.

I'm Comin To Getcha Again
This track is definitely devastating and is probably more better then its predecessor. The Featuring of Razake is just the red frosting on the butchered cake.

Whisper and Its Hidden Track Duality Of Man.
Fucking awesome memento to the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. It'll have you lying awake all night long.
As for The Duality OF Man its a sort of a look into the mind of the Artiest and tells us about his life and if he should keep telling us the thoughts of the pain of the insane or should he keep it real. As he tells us of his absence of a father and of his ex lover, ex girl and ex wife. You usually don't put a hidden track on these list, but I've got to give its props to its emotional lyrics and lets us see that there still lies a beating heart in the great pumpkin. Probably one of the best tracks in my opinion.

I hope you all enjoy The Ugly.

This is the cover to my new album that I have been working on for the last month or 2. Its called "The Ugly", if you couldnt tell. It was done by the feller who does the merch designs for the national band, "Lamb of God". His name is Aleksandr Poltavskiy and he approached me awhile back about doing a piece for me. Finally I had a vision for him and he did a devistating job. This CD, right now sits at 14 brand new tracks. I have Rukus aboard for a few of the tracks. RSuN comes back and drops a doozy of a 16 for an old CTP track called "Still Cutthroat". Both J Hexx and I have expressed interest in working with each other and its gonna happen on a joint called "Make it Rain Brains". Its shaping up to be VERY lovely. I plan on making this CD my best work yet. I hope you all enjoy it. I plan on dropping it EXCLUSIVELY first at the "Strickly for the Wicked Fest" in Sept. Then it will be up for order the week following the concert. Im also planning Tshirts for the release and a hard local push for the first time. This CD will be my make or break CD. Lets see what I can really do, right? To all my faithfuls, lets make this bitch a success. To all the casuals, I hope to wow you. To the newbies, let me impress you and to the haters, prepare to hate more.

Let me show you how much god loves ugly. ;)

Hello to any Omaha rapper reading this. I'd like to say hi. I respect everything that you've tried to accomplish, wether it be trying to imitate what you see on tv or hear on the radio or if you march to the beat of your own drummer. There is room for all of us. I've been reading here and there and doing a bit of investigating on my part and it seems for some reason, alot of you hate me. I dont get why. I've helped alot of people here in this state with first and foremost, studio time. Who else in Omaha charged $20 an hour for the quality I can deliver? I know of a few camps SPECIFICALLY waiting for ME to re open shop. I've always offered anyone I've come into contact with helpful advice, lol... even if you didnt ask for it. I've always looked out for who ever I've run across and tried to help there dreams and ideas become a reality. I know of a few of you who I've come across bad mouth me whenever my name is mentioned but when I come to you face to face, its all "Oh, Hey Sam, long time no see, whats up?". If you dont like me, dont say nothing. I dont need you in my circle. Ive treated everyone from Surreal to Jamazz to Buck Bowen to Rush One and so on with respect. Seems though, I get none in return. If this dont apply to you, dont worry none. Silly games we play right? Whatever, if you dont like me, then fuckin speak up and lets squash youre imaginary beef. This even goes out to kids who WISH they did what I could do (You know who you are, right RO?). If you got some words to say, lets talk, otherwise just keep my name out of your mouth. I've done nothing but try to help where I can. I may not come out and be in the scene when events are poppin off, but Im not much of a social butterfly either. Trust me when I say I respect everyone doin their thing! Oh and just a lil FYI to everyone out there, do a "top artist" search for ALL of Nebraska and ALL genres and lil ol me is #9. Pretty fly for a pumpkin guy.

Peace.

PS. Among the Dead is off the table, my new solo is in the works.
