I am relieved the Immigration Bill failed to pass.  Why?  I believe willful neglect at our southern border has fomented problems to get us citizens to beg for immigration reform; which reform serves as a vehicle to further erode our national sovereignty and individual rights and privacy.

Why should the government get more power over us when they have proven grossly inept with the power they already have?  This pattern of government failure being rewarded with more power over us should become known as the "9/11 Pattern"; especially when we see the most inept being advanced in their ranks rather than demoted or punished.

I know many people who are aghast that you would have been so misguided to have backed this horrendous legislation.   You should have detected and prevented the increasingly power hungry central government from making another power grab.

This could very likely be career suicide on your part.  I will not trust you with my vote in the future unless you apologize with a very humble and sincere recognition that you let the pull of power-hungry Washington outweigh the pull of Arizona and the citizens.

There is an enemy of our freedom.  Radical Islamists are simply their tool to manipulate and cause us to fear so they can work their devices to continue to eliminate our freedom.   I pray that your eyes will be opened to the real enemy manifesting on numerous fronts.

The enemy of our freedoms is seeking to remove them by operating from within, just as many of our founding fathers and other noble presidents have warned they would.  You have been doing their bidding knowingly or unknowingly.  Trace out the source of who wrote the Patriot Act and this Immigration Reform Act and you will find who it really is that hates our freedoms.  To find more proof, trace to the problems fomented to create the crisis designed to get people to accept this horrendous legislation and it should become clear what is going on here.

This pattern is replete in many other facets of government responsibility.  Look at all the wars we have going on now (Terror, Drugs, Poverty, Illiteracy, etc.) and look at how truly effective they are.  These wars aren't about solving problems and making life truly better and free but all about indebting our nation and getting people to surrender their rights and liberties to a centralized power eager to abuse it and enrich those it favors.

As an elected official you are sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution that protects us against this usurpation of our liberties and you will stand accountable to God for your discharge of your duties.  You need to trust and believe that you will be supported in staunchly defending and upholding it.  Take the example of Ron Paul for your sincere consideration as he is who best models this ability.  If I were you I would schedule some time with Ron Paul and let him school you on what Liberty really is and act accordingly.

Kind regards,

The frenzy of war and terror is clearly nothing more than the power elite's end-run attempts to slam-dunk our constitutional republic and turn it into an empire run by some kind of dictator handed the "emergency powers" on a silver platter.

Frankly, my assessment of world history tells me that citizens of any nation are not our enemy. This includes Afgani, Iraqui, Russian, Chinese, etc. What we have is a small number of power brokers playing all sides against one another to stir up chaos so that in the end they push every nation into a system of centralized power to all the more easily assimilate the world's citizens into a globalist totalitarian hell on earth.

There are a lot of people waking up to the idea that a very weak centralized government and very strong local governments all participating in a very free-market economy with no subsidies and so fourth creates a form of government that the people have more individual rights and liberties (thus prosperity), no nation is threatened by us in terms of being coersed or invaded (thus the highest possible real national security), and people are responsible for their own actions.

What we have now in this country is a lot of problems, threats, divisions, etc. being fomented among and against us to weaken, divide and conquer us. There are a lot of threats and problems being laid at our doorsteps to trick us into sacrificing our freedoms for the sake of them. We must have eyes to see past the surface. There is only ONE candidate true to real freedom on the stage.

Rudy comes across on the surface looking like a really "tough guy" but in reality the policy he promotes is more akin to the policy of a bully. I think anyone who really understands the psychology of a bully knows they are basically just cowards looking to compensate for their own weakness with a pretense of the opposite. These people are known to be easily manipulated and all to often make drastic mistakes they sorely regret. There is only safety in holding true to correct principles and Rudy offers little hope of that. Especially when you see him groping for applause points and grandstanding.

I measure a man's strength based on how much he is willing to stand up for the principles of freedom no matter how scary things may appear and for certain there is absolutely no competition for Ron Paul in this category.

Why do we speak so highly of the great courage and dedication to the principles of freedom that our founding fathers had and at the same time label the only man walking in their footsteps as "fringe"? If this is true, our freedoms will be done for in not too many years!

Islamists are not the terrorists! They are just a convenient mass of people easily radicalized and used as a tool. That's what we did with them against the Russians. For crying out loud, we trained Osama Been Lunchin to fight against them. So, should it come as any surprise they are just being used as tools now?

Just recently we have Putin making some very bold and chilling remarks about what he perceives as a threat due to our offensive and pre-emptive posturing. I'm here to tell you, we will be playing into the hands of those who want another massive world war if we go down this road of aggressivism.

I'm a 36 year old married man with 6 children and I work in the state capitol of Arizona. I'm not some weird cook. I care about the future of my 6 children and look for those candidates who honor the principles that best assure freedom in the future. Call us cowards and fringe but history will vindicate us because history vindicates the principles.

For the sake of the Union, Ron Paul for President!

Current mood:  contemplative
Category: News and Politics

I am very encouraged by the Republican candidate Ron Paul joining the bid for President.  Anyone who thinks similarly to me really should give consideration to backing Ron Paul.  I'm no expert.  I try to live by simple common-sense.  I strive to keep facts separate from story and draw my own conclusions.  I don't claim to know the whole truth of what is going on but this is what I see...

CONSTITUTION

In my opinion, our Constitution is under direct attack and Ron Paul is the only candidate I see who has the vision and the ability to defend and uphold it without being so extremist that his message would be easily discredited.  Even if not elected, Ron Paul will bring desperately needed attention to issues critical to the liberty and prosperity of this nation that no other candidate will.

GLOBALISTS

Our nation appears to be greatly compromised by globalist factions that will not rest until our national sovereignty and individual liberties become their privilege to grant or deny as they please.  If this day comes then all the founding fathers of this nation will realize the precious gift they entrusted to us is dead and gone.

Our nation's role in the world is to be a light shining on a hill and a beacon to all that freedom is possible when coupled with the sound moral principles our founding fathers espoused.  Ron Paul is the only candidate I see that is worthy of the oath office he will be required to take if elected.  We need someone who will decline to sell out our national sovereignty to the globalists.  I see Ron Paul as the candidate who will assure we maintain our rights and make the world a better place for all, even for those people who do not like the constitution of our nation, whether they know it or not.

MEDIA

Americans are being kept in the dark about a great many things.  For one example, our economy is in huge trouble and in my opinion our military is being used to fight for the US Dollar more than the global expansion of democracy.  If global democracy was our aim then we would go to dictators like we have in Burma and oust them too, but so far as I'm aware little is being done there.  Is this about democracy or is that a façade?  If this is only about democracy in terms of continuing to keep the US dollar healthy then we should be told this truthfully.  If our dollar is in trouble then we should be informed so that we can proactively do something about it if we can.

WAR IN MIDDLE-EAST

What is really happening?  Is it oil we want for ourselves or is it more than that?  Why do we seem to disrupt every attempt for oil exchanges to be established on any currency other than the US dollar?  Why else would Germany and France be so infuriated with what we are doing in the Middle East?  Didn't we derail their whole effort to establish a Euro based oil exchange?  Why?  Isn't it true that countries keep vast reserves of US Dollars so that they will be able to acquire their oil needs and if another currency was used for oil exchanges then lots of US dollars would be dumped and reserves of the other currency would get picked up.  That would have drastic effects on the value of the dollar wouldn't it?

If our goal and intent is to safeguard the dollar then this should be the platform those efforts in the Middle-East stand upon, not a façade making people out as anti-democracy if they do not support the war.  These kinds of lies sap the virtue of our nation and leave us weak and open to moral compromises.  Lies have to cover lies until nobody knows the truth anymore.  Pretty soon lies start getting manufactured and it goes on with no end.  If our presence in Iraq is based on lies the spirits of those people are going to know it whether they know the facts or not and it will backfire, as it generally always does with lies.

COLD WAR

The Cold War was fought primarily economically and in my opinion it still is and for certain it is far from over.  I believe the American people would do much better if we all knew the bare naked truth of what is going on rather than the dressed up facade that apparently someone thinks we need to hear so that credit cards will go on getting swiped day in and day out.  Even if we appear unable to face our reality around us its better to let us suffer the ounce of prevention pain now instead of delaying until it's a crushing pound of cure pain we will require later.  And, that's only if things don't utterly fall apart entirely.  A second Civil War in the USA is not out of the question if things keep going the way they are.  I shudder to consider this.

LOSS OF MORALS

Our nation cannot sustain the moral morass we are slipping into and it largely comes from us knowing things are in very bad shape but nobody is being truthful about it.  Nobody is being truthful about the culture war either.  This war is destroying the soul of our country and the media is doing very little to help and in fact does more to hurt in my opinion.  The calculated result of this war is the destruction of our nation's soul, not the progress and enlightenment of its people.  This culture war has been injected into and fomented among us from behind the scenes influences intent upon causing so much societal breakdown and strife that people become confused about right and wrong and when the compass ceases to work we are a ship tossed at sea without sail or anchor.

There are those who are empowered by this societal chaos and they should be identified and kindly dismissed while we put ourselves back together and take responsibility for our collective weakness that allowed this exploitation to deceive us into laying aside our values, the values our founding fathers repeatedly and emphatically stressed were essential for the health and prosperity of the republic.

LAWYERS AND JUDGES

Our lawyers and judges are starting to appear to me like maggots who seek for new ways to have fresh flesh delivered before them to consume for their own personal gain by the employ they receive from our woes.  Our courts are not delivering justice any longer but seem more calculated to insure the return of more and more issues.

Here's a recent example of one such case I'm intimately aware of, names withheld for privacy.  In Yavapai County a statutory rapist who abandoned a daughter he conceived with a 14/15 year old girl had all charges stopped at the county attorney's office and he has now returned out of the blue after having been gone for at least 18 months with no communication and has now obtained full unobserved visitation of the daughter, now three years old, who, amazingly has been raised by her mother and her acknowledged father, the mother's boyfriend, who was deceitfully pushed aside by the rapist but returned to her and later married her the day she turned 18.   He has been a dedicated father to the rapist's daughter for her entire life.  However, now, this little girl is emotionally torn up in a very difficult situation where parents of vastly different ideological approaches to life are in conflict.

Further, the judge demands that the mother totally shrug off all that was done and toughen up and not play the victim role in life.  The judge required the mother to take counseling so that low self-esteem doesn't get passed on to future generations.  The question I propose is:  If our youth are to have good self esteem then the laws we have designed to protect them should be enforced!  There is no amount of counseling that is going to convince the mother that the system values and cares about her and that justice has been served.

Further to this awful nightmare the courts are imposing on this girl, back child support was not granted and the rapist father is now delinquent in paying the meager child support, due to attributing a salary to the mother in the calculations even though she chooses to be a stay at home mother with her daughter and their new son.  Even if she had a job all the money from it would go to pay for day care and they didn't have children to put them into day care.  Rapist father is now filing for bankruptcy and yet through all of his negligence the courts demand his visitation continues or they threaten the mother that they could remove her parental rights if she doesn't cooperate.  In all this, rapist father has had minimal if any legal expenses to pay but the mother has had to raise over $10,000 to pay for legal and other costs to fight for her rights and very little good came of those expenses.  Life for lower middle class people is difficult and hard all on its own without this.  Her education opportunities have suffered.  Her husband's opportunity for education has been eliminated because of the immediate need to provide for his family started at such a young age.  He works very difficult jobs that don't pay very well and its not likely either of them will have the opportunity to break out of this situation in their life.  They are even limited in their mobility so if a better job comes up out of the county then the legal system makes it very difficult and expensive to have autonomy in their lives
further limiting their economic opportunities.   These kids are heroes but
our courts are treating them like social miscreants.  The courts are working against the best interests of everyone but the bankrupt rapist who abandoned his child.  Why?  They don't want to solve the problem!  They want the problems to persist and increase so that everyone in the "system" is enriched by the pains and discord of others!  A snake eating its own tail!
How can our country survive with this being handed to us from our public attorneys and judges?  Where is the American Dream in this kind of environment where rape and irresponsibility are rewarded and family is punished?

CULTURE WAR

I hope the culture war hasn't killed our nation's soul yet so that we can yet recognize it, trace it all out and then correct and overcome it and be all the stronger and bettered by it.  But, we won't be bettered by it unless we see it for what it is and correct it.  Short of doing this, we will lose the culture war and our liberties and our prosperity.  We will end up in the situation of the raped mother with a tyrant threatening us if we don't cooperate and eat the bitter pills they give us that they will take away more of our privileges.  They want the chaos that empowers them but it is at the cost of our liberties to live clean, wholesome and joyous lives.  We so desperately need to reclaim ourselves!!!

Our people's spirits are cankered with unexplainable tensions and fears and the fact that there are no sensible answers out there only adds to the problem and compounds it.  I am very suspicious of 911.  If not intentionally then certainly conveniently it was used to pass legislation decimating precious rights granted in the Constitution.  Things appear to me to be spiraling downward and it is because there isn't enough truth in circulation and those in power are all too eager to use our problems as platforms to stand on to justify giving them more power diminishing our liberties.  If our government is failing to protect us we should reward it with less power, not more.

If the entity of our government is fed and empowered as there is societal breakdown then we need to realize and appreciate and fully implement the wisdom of our founding fathers to ensure that government remains limited and checked and that the teaching of Judeao-Christian morality is unrestrained.  Otherwise, it becomes the snake that starts eating its own tail by breeding more and more problems to essentially empower itself more and more.

Those candidates addicted to power and compromised with the tail eating serpent's mentality must be kept far from our oaths of office because I cringe to think of how the exceedingly sharp and intense flames of spiritual burning they will experience when in their minds eye when in their life's review they are shown without a shade of doubt the full consequences and ramifications of their violation of their oaths of office to forfeit this precious gift from the Almighty Creator of us all.  We need to seek for true men of wisdom and sound judgment to fill our offices and I see Ron Paul as our best hope for 2008.

HYPOCRISY?

If things are so bad that we need laws like the Patriot Act passed then why aren't our borders shut tight?  This glaring hypocrisy tells me that terrorism is sponsored at some level by the same interests that oppose our Constitution and that they are operating to some degree inside our own government.  Please understand, I anxiously want to believe otherwise, but I have to read the facts as I see them!  I love our government and have worked for it for over 10 years now.  I know the good we can and should do.  I want to see our government remain vital and healthy with all officers and employees holding true to their oaths and responsibilities of office.

Identifying just who these enemies of our Constitution inside are is the first and foremost item of concern for this nation.  Will this happen?  This I know, our freedoms depend upon it at some point and it appears to be on the brink of the point of no return, if not already.  Will Ron Paul facilitate correction?  I believe so very much.  Will Clinton?  Will Obama?  Will Gore?  Will McCain?  Not on your life!  I don't see them doing anything more than continuing to sell this nation out to globalist fascists under the promise of social prosperity and guaranteed equality for all which is impossible unless all individual rights are withdrawn from people and then what is left?  Those who sell out our nation think they will get their perks, but what of the rest of us?  We need to realize how preciously vital it is that men of sound moral character who love of our Constitution more than life itself are the only men to take our offices of government and it is for this reason I am pleading with you to give Ron Paul an audience.

If your organization is a free and independent press (that it should be) and itself uncompromised by the same factions seeking to destroy our nation's Constitution then surely there should be some reporters with the spine to dig into angles such as I am proposing here and to shed light on these aspects of things and to cover a candidate most likely to do something about it.

Yes, my view is not the whole truth but I think it sums a lot of things up and it surely will have the rats inside us scrambling for cover if more light is shed upon this side of things.  Perhaps if nothing else it will stem back the enemy's efforts another decade or more.

I love our country and I hope you do too and that these words I have shared will get into the minds of those who are best able to discern their truth and to amplify them to the public because it's the truth that we need to know to maintain our liberties.  For the truth shall make you free!

I stand ready willing and able to respond to any additional inquiries you may have concerning my views.  Again, I'm not expert, take my words with a grain of salt if you must, but before you toss them aside as a thing of naught, ask yourself if I don't somehow strike a chord somewhere in your mind and heart that what I am saying is worthy of publication and exposure.

I believe I represent a vast silent majority of people who are looking for a message and candidate of hope and your outlet could become the beloved conduit of that by the vast silent majority.

Kind regards,
Jason L Wharton

Current mood:  shocked
Category: News and Politics

I'm fascinated with the shaping of the Republican presidential candidate roundup and the mainstream media's desperate attempts to gloss their sweethearts and downplay their threats. While this has become expected as a part of our corrupt culture and political system this alone isn't what fascinates me. But it did lay before me the end of a string I decided to pick up and trace. What I discovered at the end of this string was shocking.

I come from a Christian background and have been a faithful Republican for many years. I voted for George Bush and supported his campaign. I believed the Republican Party conserves the Constitutional rule of law in which my rights and liberties are protected. I believed they maintain healthy and vibrant fiscal policy for generations to come and that they demonstrate moral and exemplary leadership. In short, I believed I was being a good American as a Republican.

However, my feelings of betrayal have been growing for the past few years. Now I frankly decline when they call asking for monetary donations because I believe the Republican Party has lost it way. I mourn the loss of the representation I used to trust and I'm certain this explains the outcome of our mid-term elections. Even Democrats seemed to gain little out of this swing of power in Congress so they too must be feeling abandoned and without representation as well. What happened to our political parties?

I have been inwardly hungering and thirsting to find answers while watching the presidential incumbent bids take shape. I'm known as an optimist that keeps his feet on the ground but I must confess the front-running Republican line-up worries me greatly. I see no hope in them for the madness to end. None other than Bill Maher beautifully represented my sentiments when he gave the brief recap of the second GOP debate by highlighting the copious stream of fear mongering and war mongering from all the candidates, with the highly commendable exception of Rep. Ron Paul from Texas.

It is no surprise to find the string woven into this debate and surfacing when front-running Rudy Giuliani took issue with Congressman Ron Paul over foreign policy in the Middle East. Rudy heard what he wanted to hear in order to take opportunity to grandstand as the "9-11 Mayor" and castigate Ron Paul as a lunatic. I heard the applause of the audience to what was obviously a contortion of Paul's words. I heard the spin the Republican side of Fox News used to perpetuate this denigration of Ron Paul. I heard how the RNC decision makers were motioning to ban Ron Paul from future debates. Surely this betrayal is tethered to the string we are tracing, but this isn't the end of it.

What are these Neo-Republicans and their puppet media talking heads trying to hide? Must we live in terror and question nothing? Must we sacrifice our liberties in exchange for protection? Must we borrow hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars from potential enemies or massively inflate our currency to fund the War on Terror? Other than Ron Paul, all of the presidential candidates seem to believe so. What do they truly see at the end of this line of action? Can a terror provoking "War on Terror" ever end? Isn't it plain to see fighting terror alone molds us into the very terrorists we are fighting? Even now in my effort to call fear mongers to the carpet do I sound like one myself!

We need to remember that "rewarding" the government by transferring more of our liberties to them, as a response to their failings, will only encourage more of their failings. Failings with even more power over us! Are these failings only with national security and foreign policy or might this apply to other areas like education, health care, fiscal policy, immigration, environment and so on? Giving the government more power is looking for answers in the source of the problem, ourselves. Is it so hard to grasp that the solution was answered by our true patriot founding fathers in doing exactly the opposite by limiting government power as much as possible while fostering the necessary foundation of Godly virtues and individual responsibility to solve things independently as individuals, families, communities, counties and states?

Do we want to follow this fear and insecurity based string to the point that all of our freedoms are sacrificed upon the alter of seeking for ourselves the "guarantee" of security, of equal-rights regardless of lifestyle choices, of socialized health-care, of "no child left behind" education, and so on? When will it become clear humans seeking such guarantees from humans is a snake eating its own tail? When will we realize this lie, this great and spacious building without a foundation, is nothing more than a delusion that offers some individuals more apparent power than they can abstain from grasping for?

Does the string end here with the potential of utter surrender and abolishment of our liberties, thus creating a living hell on earth? No! We are in a day and time now where matters have the potential of being much graver. We now have technology capable of disrupting the biological fabric of this planet to such a degree human life could become extinguished. Thus, we have to own up to the responsibility of having such power and put well behind us our fears and insecurities by getting what love truly is. We must evolve! Indeed the wages of sin is death. We must recognize that this string we are tracing could be a fuse that is burning towards a detonation of global proportions.

What does this all have to do with Judas? Let's review: The Jews were expecting a messiah to come and liberate them and establish His kingdom upon the earth. Upon His arrival there were only a few who perceived the kingdom He brought was spiritual rather than political. Among His inner circle the apostle Judas believed Jesus should use His power to throw off the Romans and establish a political kingdom. Judas didn't "get it" and eventually conspired against his Master, thinking to force Him to use His power by betraying Him into the hands of His enemies. In so doing, much to his shock and awe, he facilitated the death of his Master. Judas abandoned the 30 pieces of silver and hung himself realizing he failed to control his Master, the Son of God, by terrorizing Him.

Christians believe the crucifixion of Jesus was necessary in order to save the world from sin and my shocking realization and argument here is there are as few Christians today who know how this act saves the world as Jews who knew why He came in the first place. Jesus demonstrated numerous times He possessed sufficient power to assemble all the elements of the earth to back Him in whatever conquest of glory He desired. But, instead He left a few simple teachings to be taken to all the earth and offered Himself as a sacrifice! Perhaps only now in our need can we see how profound they were and how they can save our world so that we may enjoy life everlastingly on earth as humankind.

Jesus Christ demonstrated a willingness to die rather than to make selfish use of the power He possessed. He stands as a prime example to the world of what meekness really is. Having great power yet refraining from using it. We are taught in our churches "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) The context here is the world, upon which we have a vested interest in human life continuing here everlastingly.

Herein do we learn what Christ meant when He said "the meek shall inherit the earth". Was He telling us if we burn the fuse too far there won't be an earth left sufficient to inhabit? Might He be saying we should be willing to die if necessary such that life on earth may continue everlastingly? Aren't there many who teach us He died so that we wouldn't actually have to, but that we must have faith as He did? Is it not true that even though He died that He rose again? If you are Christian then you believe He did and it's time all Christians started putting stock in their own beliefs and followed His example.

How is it the Christian Right appears so adamant about the need for us to exert all our might and power in the world to kill and forcefully silence our enemies? How is it we can justify ourselves spreading "freedom" and "democracy" at the point of a gun? How is it the War on Terror has become such an important feature in our daily life? I submit there is a Judas afoot, who believes the answer is power and might. Just as Judas was willing to sacrifice his own Master to advance his agenda, based on his sincere yet deluded belief that it would answer the world's problems, we have a repeat of history in the making unless we all, especially our Judas faction, wise up quickly.

Do we have the right to usurp God's authority and take it upon ourselves to execute any sort of vengeance upon our brothers and sisters in this world? Last I checked the tool of vengeance has never been wholesale delegated to humankind. As I see things now, if we sow vengeance in the world it is going to come back to us greatly multiplied. The Law of the Harvest is very real and we would do well to heed it carefully and let vengeance be God's and God's alone. When, as the prophesies foretell, that Christ comes again with power and great glory to punish the wicked, who will be in His crosshairs? Who does God despise most? Hypocrites! Let us search ourselves and root this out while we can.

In searching ourselves let us consider: Who is our government's master? We are! This begs the question: Was 9-11 and other catalyzing events carefully "managed terrorism" by a Judas faction in our government? We may never know if it was that or worse but we all have the Judas element in our nature and it behooves each one of us to simply get the principles that the Christ brought us and live them whether we darken the door of a church or not. Yes, these principles fly in the face of conventional wisdom and our fallen nature but they are precious and eternal and I am very ashamed to admit many of my Christian brothers and sisters appear to be among the poorest examples on this earth at living them, myself included. Its no wonder Christians have incurred the ire of many good people on this planet because too many of us just don't "get it" and live them.

Let's review what the Christ brought us and charged us with:

· Blessed are the poor in spirit who come unto me, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

· Blessed are all they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

· Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

· Blessed are all they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled with the Holy Ghost.

· Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

· Blessed are all the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

· Blessed are all the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

· Blessed are all they who are persecuted for my name's sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

· Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake; for ye shall have great joy and be exceedingly glad, for great shall be your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.

· I give unto you to be the salt of the earth; but if the salt shall lose its savor wherewith shall the earth be salted? The salt shall be thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot of men.

· I give unto you to be the light of this people. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

· Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good.

Are we a light on a hill and a beacon of temperance and meekness in the world or are we as salt that has lost its savor ripened to be trodden under the foot of men? Can't we turn catalyzing events like 9-11 into opportunities to shine our light rather than claim such "changes everything"? These principles never change! Can we say of ourselves that we are Christians if rather than be true to His teachings and example we turn into fearful and hateful terrorists? Are Christians to be bullies who resort to the strength of their own arm as if there is no just God in Heaven watching over us?

Would the world populace at large be embittered towards us… For being peacemakers? For being meek? For demonstrating a hunger and a thirst to understand others and to listen to them? For being merciful? No! Of course not. It's high time we quench the burning fuse and dismiss the self-appointed well-intended globalist do-gooders trying to force us to submit to their elitist agenda by terrorizing us, by compromising us, by infesting us, by poisoning us, by seducing us, by shaming us, by enslaving us, by amusing us, by angering us, by perverting us, by fearing us, by dividing us and so on.

Thanks to Christ, we can be a beacon of light and truth so that our lives and freedom, coupled with Godly virtue and individual responsibility, will be everlasting on earth.

This is my prayer to the Father for America, in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Sincerely,

Jason L Wharton
