My name is Wayne Bonnett and I would like to welcome you to the official
Hope For Pets Music Myspace site. The primary purpose of this site is
to help raise awareness and support for the Hope For Pets organization
located in Bullitt County Kentucky.

Hope For Pets is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. They are dedicated to improving the lives of stray, shelter and companion animals in Bullitt County, Ky. Their programs are designed to eliminate pet overpopulation and provide assistance for pet care needs to the elderly, low-income and special need members of our community. They also offer educational programs and material regarding responsible pet ownership.


The secondary purpose of this site is to sell the music CD that I have
created to raise money for Hope For Pets. The CD was
released under my record label (Wayne Bonnett Records) in August, 2007. The CD
contains 16 easy-listening instrumental songs that will help you and
your pet relax after a hard day. If you like pianos, acoustic guitars,
and mellow synthesizers, you're going to LOVE this CD!

The music on this CD have been "works in progress" since the third
quarter of 2006. A lot of heart & soul, love & dedication, and
countless hours have been put into the production of this CD. The songs
will be named after the special pets that were nominated and voted for
on the Hope For Pets website.

About Wayne Bonnett:
Wayne Bonnett is an independent computer based musician, producer, sound designer, and sound engineer. His musical "career" was jump started again in early 2006 when his grandmother passed away in January. He needed a way to express himself, and decided to do it musically. What started out as a way to release his emotions turned out to be a second full time job.

Wayne is also an avid animal lover who helps whenever and wherever he can. He is a member of the ASPCA, and lobbies for animal rights and well being. He also has three companions of his own, a shepherd mix, and two beagles.

Wayne's primary goal is to create instrumental music for television, video game, and movie soundtracks. His primary instrument is my Mac, along with several synthesizers and digital audio workstation software and various other hardware.

He has the ability to create music for any genre or style. If you need drums, He'll fire up his digital drum machines. If you need heavy metal or acoustic guitars and bass, he'll fire up his virtual strings! If you want techno, he'll fire up every synth that he has. If you want something else, he'll figure it out and get it done. :)

If you need a keyboardist that can produce any instrument sound, he is the one for you.

MORE ABOUT WAYNE BONNETT:



Wayne Bonnett is an electronic musician, sound designer, producer, and
sound engineer who specializes in electronic music. He is the sole
member and mastermind behind the band Equinox Shadow.



Wayne started performing in the mid to late 80's in front of friends and
family. After graduating high school in 1989, Wayne's focus shifted away
from music, and started chasing the "American dream".



A tragic turn of events led Wayne back into music production. Wayne's
grandmother passed away in 2006, and he turned to the music he loved to
create to help deal with her passing.



Some of Wayne's musical influences are Tangerine Dream, Juno Reactor,
Jean Michel Jarre, DRAX, E.V.O.K, Trance Control, Atlas Plug, Enya,
Enigma, Moby, Tori Amos, and Depeche Mode.



Wayne enjoys playing easy listening piano and synthesized ambient
"space" music. However, he prefers to compose and produce fast paced
trance and techno music.

This song is from the HOPE for Pets Vol.1 CD. The track was named "Forever Love Mommas Gee Gee" after a kitten that my good friend Lynn had rescued and took into her home.

Sadly, recently Mommas Gee Gee passed on, so as a memorial to Gee Gee, I'm making this song FREE to you to download.

Keep your pets SAFE from the fireworks!

The Fourth of July is an exciting time for people, as many look forward to watching a huge display of fireworks each year. Those may not realize though that their pets can become very frightened during these Fourth of July festivities, and it is important to keep them safe.

There are many things which you can do to make sure that your pet is safe during the Fourth of July.

The Humane Society of the United States has offered these tips to help pet owners.

The first thing they state is to try and keep your pet inside, and in a very quiet and sheltered area of the house.

On top of that, it is also a very good idea to leave on a television or radio, with something pet-friendly. As long as it is loud enough it can help calm the pet, keeping them from hearing the loud bangs. Try MY music! =)

Before, during, and after the fireworks, it is best to try to keep your pet watched if he or she is outside, as they may try to run away due to the loud noise.

Under no circumstance should you ever take your pet to a fireworks display, nor should you leave them in the car.

All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast to Benefit HOPE For Pets

Below is a flyer for our 3rd Annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling (502) 955-3586 or by going on-line at www.hopeforpets.org.

Adults eat for $5.00 and kids 12 and under eat for $3.00. HOPE for Pets receives $4.00 for each adult ticket sold and $2.00 for each child's ticket sold.

We appreciate if you would post the flyer for us, forward the flyer to others on your mailing list and of course, join us at our All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast!

Tickets to sell are in the mail for those who attended our last Volunteer Meeting or have requested tickets. You should receive them Monday or Tuesday.
